On se doutait un peu que Vaggie était un exorciste mais le simple acte d'avoir épargner un enfant. Subit une horrible blessure en plus de perdre son oeil ainsi que ses ailes. La scène était horrible mais j'aime bien la scène où justement Charlie tombe sur Vaggie, certains se demanderaient ce qu'elle faisait là justement. Mais comme on sait pas combien de temps s'est passé exactement entre l'extermination et leur rencontre ?

Ça pourrait signifier que Charlie essayait peut être de trouver des survivants et est tombé sur Vaggie. Bien que la rencontre peut faire pas mal penser au diable qui tombe sur une âme perdue. J'étais tombée sur des posts sur le fait que Charlie pourrait devenir le diable vu que Lucifer ne semble pas avoir ce titre vu que Sera dit qu'il est un ange déchu mais pas "le roi des enfers" ou bien "le diable". L'idée que Charlie le soit prend de plus en plus forme, avec Alastor qui serait le murmure à son oreille. Vaggie qui serait l'ange déchue que Charlie recueille.

Et vu qu'Emily et Charlie semblent être similaire au première abord, dans le sens qu'elles semblent ignorantes mais ont un caractère similaire en plus de la relation parentale qu'elles partagent. Je me dis que si Emily descend en enfer, elle pourrait devenir un ange déchue mais pas par Charlie. Car on a bien un démon qui pourrait tirer cet avantage en particulier.

The scene was horrible, but I like the scene where Charlie stumbles upon Vaggie, some might wonder what she was doing there. But since we don't know exactly how much time passed between the extermination and their meeting?

It could mean that Charlie was trying to find survivors and came across Vaggie. Although the encounter could be quite reminiscent of the devil stumbling upon a lost soul. I'd come across posts about Charlie becoming the devil, as Lucifer doesn't seem to have that title, as Sera says he's a fallen angel but not "the king of hell" or "the devil". This idea of Charlie's is taking shape, with Alastor as the whisperer in his ear. Vaggie as the fallen angel Charlie takes in.

And given that Emily and Charlie seem to be similar at first glance, in that they seem ignorant but have a similar character in addition to the parental relationship they share. I'm thinking that if Emily goes down to hell, she could become a fallen angel, but not by Charlie. Because we do have a demon who could use that particular advantage…

Callum l'ange et Claudia la démone (Callum the Angel and Claudia the Demon)

Dans cette saison 4, on a pu voir Claudia se transformer en Naga et avoir des ailes de chauves souris. Tandis que Callum a des ailes grâce à la source primaire du ciel. Pour moi, il y a un côté démon et ange entre ces deux personnages. Je m'explique le naga est une créature venant de la mythologie hindoue, ce sont des génies des eaux. Dans le poème Marhabattu, les nagas sont vu comme essentiellement méchants. Selon certains textes, hindoues, un naga peut être bon ou mauvais. Ils peuvent être les gardiens d'un trésor enfoui sous l'eau. Bien qu'on décrit les nagas comme des humains pour le haut du corps tandis que le bas du corps est une queue de serpent. Ils sont parfois décrits comme des cobras géants. Dans la bible chrétienne, c'est le serpent qui a trompé Eve pour qu'elle mange le fruit défendu incitant Adam a le manger. Dans le final de la saison 3, Claudia trompe Soren en lui faisant croire qu'il a tué son père alors que c'était une illusion. Le serpent symbolise la fertilité, quand un serpent mue cela symbolise la renaissance, la transformation, l'immortalité et la guérison. Dans le final de la saison 3, Claudia a fait revivre son père.

Le serpent est aussi symbolisé par l'ouroboros qui signifie l'éternité ainsi que le symbole du temps. Mais il symbolise un cycle d'évolution renfermé sur lui même. C'est ce qui arrive à Claudia, elle tient à sa famille plus que tout au monde ! Depuis que sa mère est partie, elle ressent un vide qui n'a jamais été comblé. Quand Soren quitte l'armée, Claudia lui demande de pas lui faire choisir. Ce qui fait qu'il part seule, abandonnant sa sœur. Dans l'épisode 2 de la saison 4, Viren dit qu'il est temps d'accepter qu'il est et passer ses derniers jours auprès de sa fille. Elle le gifle refusant d'écouter son père car elle préfère le garder vivant que mort. Même lors des retrouvailles entre Claudia et Soren, elle tente de ramener Soren de son côté malgré les dires de ce dernier. Son attachement envers sa famille est malsain car le fait qu'elle tient à eux et à la fois une qualité dans les premières saisons mais un défaut pour les deux dernières saisons. Car elle suit Viren aveuglement, le défendant même quand son père a menti sur l'ordre qu'il a donné à Soren. Rien que le fait qu'elle ait des ailes de chauves souris, me fait penser à une démone. Quand Rayla prend en otage son petit ami, elle la piège en lui donnant en échange de la vie de Terry de fausses pièces. Sauf que quand Terry trouvait ça cruelle qu'elle fasse une chose pareille, Claudia lui donne les vraies pièces à Rayla montrant qu'il y a encore du bon en elle ! 

Tandis que Callum lors de son rêve a été tenté par la magie noire, son père lui dit qu'il est libre de ne pas faire les mêmes choix que lui. Ses ailes me font penser à un ange bien que techniquement les anges ont des ailes blanches. Je suis tombée sur un post comparant Aaravos à Lucifer et dans un sens ça se tient, Lucifer utilise la tentation pour que les humains commettent des pêchés. Et la plupart des manipulations d'Aaravos sont basés sur la tentation, le fait de gagner la confiance de Viren afin qu'il le manipule comme un pantin. Dans l'épisode 4 de la saison 4, Aaravos prend le contrôle de Callum pour rendre sa menace encore plus grande. Il dit de Callum qu'il est son préféré et qu'il est tenté par les ténèbres, on l'a vu utiliser la magie noire pour sauver Rayla mais dans son rêve on montre aussi ses insécurités.

Avant qu'il puisse se connecter à la magie du ciel, il n'arrivait pas à accomplir ses devoirs en tant que prince. Après avoir brisé une pierre primal, il était prêt à être frappé par la foudre avec Zym pour se connecter à la source primal du ciel avant d'y renoncer. De plus même sa demande à Rayla de le tuer a été refusé car elle lui répond que c'est lui qui écrit que son destin et personne d'autre. Toutefois il a des doutes sur lui même, le fait qu'il soit sur le chemin des ténèbres alors que celle ci lui dit de prendre un autre chemin. Lorsqu'il s'approche de la lave, j'ai eu peur qu'il mette fin à ses jours mais au final c'est surtout pour essayer de se débarrasser du cube en vain. Le fait qu'il n'arrive pas à s'en débarrasser montre son obsession pour la magie mais aussi parce que ce cube a été offert par son père. Montrant que cet objet aussi une valeur sentimentale pour lui. Donc Callum serait-il l'ange qui fait face aux tentations d'Aaravos ? Va-t-il résister ou va-t-il succomber ? Qui sait ? Pour ma part, je penche plus sur le fait qu'il va résister mais le fait qu'il doit affronter ses propres ténèbres est intéressant. 

In season 4, we saw Claudia transform into a Naga and get bat wings. Callum, on the other hand, has wings thanks to the sky's primary source. For me, there's a demon and angel side to these two characters. Let me explain: the naga is a creature from Hindu mythology, a water genie. In the poem Marhabattu, nagas are seen as essentially evil. According to some Hindu texts, a naga can be either good or evil. They may be the guardians of a treasure buried beneath the water. Although nagas are described as human for the upper body, the lower body is a snake's tail. They are sometimes described as giant cobras. In the Christian Bible, it was the serpent who tricked Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, prompting Adam to eat it. In the season 3 finale, Claudia deceives Soren into believing that he has killed his father, when in fact it was an illusion. The snake symbolizes fertility, and when a snake sheds it symbolizes rebirth, transformation, immortality and healing. In the season 3 finale, Claudia brought her father back to life.

The serpent is also symbolized by the ouroboros, which signifies eternity and the symbol of time. But it also symbolizes a cycle of evolution closed in on itself. This is what happens to Claudia, who values her family more than anything else in the world! Ever since her mother left, she has felt a void that has never been filled. When Soren leaves the army, Claudia asks him not to make her choose. So he goes off on his own, leaving his sister behind. In episode 2 of season 4, Viren says it's time to accept who he is and spend his last days with his daughter. She slaps him, refusing to listen to her father because she'd rather keep him alive than dead. Even during Claudia's reunion with Soren, she tries to get Soren back on her side, despite what he says. Her attachment to her family is unhealthy, because the fact that she cares for them is both a quality in the early seasons and a flaw in the last two seasons. For she follows Viren blindly, defending him even when her father lied about the order he gave Soren. Just the fact that she has bat wings makes me think of a demon. When Rayla takes her boyfriend hostage, she tricks her into giving him fake coins in exchange for Terry's life. Except that when Terry finds it cruel that she'd do such a thing, Claudia gives Rayla the real coins, showing that there's still some good in her !

While Callum in his dream was tempted by black magic, his father tells him that he is free not to make the same choices he did. His wings remind me of an angel, although technically angels have white wings. I came across a post comparing Aaravos to Lucifer and in a way it makes sense, Lucifer uses temptation to get humans to commit sins. And most of Aaravos' manipulations are based on temptation, gaining Viren's trust so that he manipulates him like a puppet. In episode 4 of season 4, Aaravos takes control of Callum to make his threat even greater. He says Callum is his favorite and is tempted by the darkness, we saw him use black magic to save Rayla but in his dream we also show his insecurities.

Before he could connect to primal magic he couldn't fulfill his duties as prince. After breaking a primal stone, he was ready to be struck by lightning with Zym to connect to the primal source in the sky before giving up. What's more, even his request to Rayla to kill him has been refused, as she tells him that it is he who writes his destiny and no one else. However, he has doubts about himself, about being on the path of darkness when she tells him to take another path. When he approaches the lava, I was afraid he was going to end his life, but in the end it's all about trying to get rid of the cube, to no avail. The fact that he can't get rid of it shows his obsession with magic, but also because the cube was a gift from his father. Showing that this object also has sentimental value for him. So is Callum the angel who faces up to Aaravos' temptations ? Will he resist or succumb ? Who knows ? For my part, I'm leaning more towards him resisting, but the fact that he has to face up to his own darkness is interesting.
