Didn't end up working on Pisces Star Dress, but I did nail down a "redesign" for Yukino (she barely changed) and started on some Angel concepts :PPPPPPP enjoy!!!

(i have a cobra sketch but it sucks bc i cant make my idea work so sh)

anyway both of these are pretty straight forward, i never got "angel" from angels design bc the feathers were so??? clunky?? like it didn't feel graceful or beautiful and also the dark blue always felt like a weird accent color to me so i made it yellow.

as for my boy elfman i just made him actually black instead of just tan like in the show. I also made him kinda??? pretty??? like i wanted him to look more like his sisters. Also i broke his nose and took a chunk out of his ear.

Also hes trans.

anyway thank you guys for all the asks!! im slowly getting through them but keep sending hc, redesign requests and screenshots from ft for me to redraw bc its fun!

This took me a minute. I was going to wait until we got to that point in our rewatch but didn't want to leave you hanging for weeks. Consider these tentative redesigns that may change once I reach the arc.

Few notes: I want to keep angel relatively the same but with my own twist on her outfit.

I acknowledge cobra's design is personal preference for me. Honestly I think Cobra being calm and terrifying works well, especially if we save his unhinged nature for post timeskip when he's seeking out Cubelios. I do hope retracting fangs, unhinging jaws, and extreme flexibility somewhat meets your quota.

Hoteye doesn't have a canon reason to look like he does outside of being Wally's brother so I tossed the geometric shapes and kept the "grabbing at being rich" look.

For the final three it's more minor alterations than heavy changes. Brain was hard to change but I did want to adjust some elements I wasn't a fan of. Racer and Midnight just got some personal touches of mine.

Finally got Angel done!

She's a part of the Oracion Seis but is later sent to Mermaid Heel as a part of the Council's rehabilitation program.

We don't talk about the trials and tribulations I went through with this one.

The biggest change I made was giving her jewelry. I wanted her to have a circlet to mimic having a halo to fit with her angelic theme. To match, I also added the wings on her dress. I wanted her to look more regal to go with the idea that she sees herself as above the average person like how she is in the Starry Heavens arc. Otherwise, I kept her design mostly the same.

She gets along surprisingly well with the Mermaid Heel members, which helps humble her and bring her back down to earth.
