I know it's been a while but I'm glad we're all in agreement than Rhys Darby is in fact hot, so I can talk about the dream I had where he broke his leg outside my house and I took him inside and gave him a splint and there was this Moment of homoerotic tension that I haven't stopped thinking about since the dream happened. it's been weeks, guys

Ok so in every Viago/Anton fic I’ve read, Anton is just always so god awful tired and I love that lol And now I raise you this: Like all tired parents/adults, he falls asleep after abt 5 minutes of sitting down which makes it hard to go on dates sometimes.

They decide to stay in and watch a movie on the fancy new picture box Stu brought them bc going out somewhere can be hard for a vampire if they’re not invited in. Viagos so excited bc he loves watching the plays the little men who live in the box do, there are so many ones to choose from, and now he can finally show off their skill to his bf. Except Anton keeps nodding off almost as soon as it starts. Viago keeps poking him and getting after him for falling asleep, doing his (adorable) angry face while Anton promises not to fall asleep again… which lasts all of abt 10 seconds. About 15 minutes into the movie, he’s fast asleep, snoring, with his head falling back. At first Viagos grumpy abt it bc now their date is ruined but then he looks over he instantly melts bc he can’t be mad at that face. After a moment of deliberation, he pulls Anton over onto his shoulder, brushes his hair out of his face, and gives him a little kiss on the forehead. If the documentary crew is still there, he would say smth like “he’s very cute when he’s sleeping :)”

Anton wakes abt 5 hours later; vlad and Deacon are there now and the three of them have started watching some totally different program while he was asleep. He just looks around, pushing himself upright off Viagos chest, like, “oh no, did I miss the movie?” Vlads like “you’ve almost been here all night.” He gets really embarrassed and stands up to leave but Viago grabs his hand and begs him to stay and watch the little men w them bc this play is actually quite good, better than the other one they were going to watch, but Anton feels like he overstayed his welcome based on the looks the other two vampires are giving him. Viago walks him to the door, kindve sad that they didn’t really get to do much, but they both promise to do something else next time and after a quick kiss (vlad and deacon are staring), Anton leaves.

Deacon thankfully managed to keep all his… comments abt werewolves in until the door is shut.
