A hero of ancient persian origin,who became mainstay in the mythology of persia,today's Iran.As a warrior for King Manuchehr, who is dubbed the final king of ancient West Asia, he ended the war between the Persians and Turks that lasted 60 years,with his Great Self Sacrifice. How's that?

At he end of a long war between two countries, the enemy army of Turan sieged King Manuchehr’s army and this leads to the kings of both countries deciding to sign a peace treaty and establish their national borders. That entailed making someone climb Mount Damavand and shoot an arrow to the East from there, and the place where this arrow fell would mark the location of the national border.The only volunteer at the time was the Persian army’s best archer, Arash. During the first month of the summer, on a sunny morning of Tirgan (Persian for “summer solstice”), Arash gathered all of his strength,he streched s his bow more than ever before and shot an arrow. Most legends say the arrow kept flying the entire morning and landed at noon on the coast of the Oxus River in central Asia, 2500 km away from the shooting point.That river remained as the two countries’ border line until the 10th Century, when the Mongol armies pushed the Persian territory to the south.

He achieved this Great feat,at the cost of his Life.

Can I please have some sfw and nsfw headcannons for Siegfried and Arash thier both among my favorite servants.

Siegfried:

-I think about Siegfried in glasses all the time. I also think about that costume an unhealthy amount. I think about him and his s/o in matching glasses, and him exclaiming about their mutually increased 'intuition'. Also how his titties are just out. Sir put them away!!!

-Yes he would shield his s/o behind his back at the slightest hint of danger, his arms is out ushering them behind him. Also yes, he has faith that they will be looking out for his. He would also be prone to giving them piggybacks, you know, so they can keep his back safe.

-His s/o says they are cold. He disappears and comes back with a mountain of blankets. Please get under them, he will not allow them to freeze. Then when they say they are hot he's off to find water and ice.

Arash:

-Arash gives off vibes that if his s/o cooked him something that was absolutely awful he'd eat it. He'd smile and tell them it looked great, then hold up his plate for seconds. Does he feel ill later? Yes. But does he say a word? No.

-And on the other foot, he'd bring back a massive dead boar, and look so impressed he managed to hunt something so big. He is a provider. He wants them to lay the compliments on him for the successful hunt, he will brighten with each kind word.

-"I bet for a kiss I could make that shot from there." The there that he is pointing to is some rocky ass mountain that his s/o is worried how he's going to climb it. And the shot is a fallen apple on the ground far away. He'd do it. If it weren't for their worry wearing him in every time.

Siegfried:

-Siegfried wants to hear his s/o tell him what they want, and if they like what he's doing. And when they are moaning about wanting more, he is so quick to give.

-Big dick energy. I don't care I know it's big. He's cautious about it too, he'll be taking it slow, making sure his s/o adjusts to his size before doing anything.

-I just know his breath is hitching upon bottoming out and he is gripping the sheets like crazy, and murmuring about how tight they feel.

Arash:

-Arash also wants his s/o's praises. He wants to hear them, he'll be goading them on to tell him how much they want and need him. But they second they do he's folding, he will give them whatever they want.

-All it takes is one beer and he suddenly twice as handsy. If there are other people around he keeps it respectful, but if not his hands are on their ass or inching their way up their shirt. And he's talking about how beautiful he thinks they are the whole time.

-I just know his stamina is crazy, and his s/o will be exasperated. Like again? Already? And he'll give them a pleading look and as him to handle just one more for him.

we're about a day into the poll (please fill it out if you have time), here's some interesting patterns i have noticed:

this one is totally because of polling bias, but a lot of the 'nice' fans are associated with male characters, while 'rude' fans are associated with female characters

there seems to be a rather prominent 'us vs them' mentality of 'people who started with fgo vs those who started with another fate/ property'

'popular' or 'meta' characters having 'rude' fans

a definite line of 'some fans of these characters', with a few people specifically stating that they do not like 'male fans of x character'

rude fans are often associated with being fans of younger servants - notably, younger girls

maybe not a big surprise: there's a decent amount of overlap as to which characters people associate with 'rude' and 'nice' fans

of all of the characters currently: arash is the one people most closely associate with having nice fans

more niche servant = nicer the fans, it appears

more people saying avicebron fans are nice, which i will take as a compliment

He often heard tales of Arash by passing servants within the halls there, such a noble and gentle -something that Kotaro never be due to his past there- but he was at least grateful to be paired up with the other there that's for sure. Luckily for the two of them, their master has decided to camp for the night before heading out once more in the morning, also fortunately for them, Kotaro has sent out some scouts(read as Asuka and Kenshin) to hunt some food while they were relaxing there.

THREE HEADCANONS YOU’VE NEVER TOLD ANYONE:

☼ Despite Ozy's pride, he is PRACTICAL. If he feels he cannot do something alone, he has no issues relying on another if necessary. He puts stubbornness aside and focuses, instead, on what needs to be done. If he must work with someone who was a former enemy, then so be it. The only thing is that sometimes he has to be convinced to do so, and it must be because there is absolutely no other course of action left to him but this. Nitocris is an outlier because she is a fellow pharaoh and he respects her a great deal for her sacrifice to the throne.

☼ Although he loves the beauty of the sea, he is not fond of the thought of actually riding a ship on it. The vastness of the ocean is intimidating, even more so when you are far away from shore and all that can be seen for miles upon miles is water. Sailing fascinates him, but he knows for a fact that after the intrigue wears off, the unease will set in and he will hate it.

THREE THINGS YOUR CHARACTER LIKES DOING IN THEIR FREE TIME:

☼ Napping. Ozymandias just really loves to take naps. He sits around on his throne a lot, and during that process, he tends to get sluggish and tired. It’s easy enough for him to perk up when he’s aware that someone is visiting him, however. Being able to just lie back and rest is not something he had really experienced in life because he was constantly kept busy by something or another or had to keep up certain appearances, so he takes advantage of that when he’s summoned. In a sense, he might as well be a cat at that point.

☼ Playing video games. Although video games confuse him, he actually really likes them. It’s so ‘quaint’, and yet, it holds his attention for hours. Ozymandias doesn’t quite understand why this is, but he’s not complaining. Let him play something like Tekken Tag Tournament or Skyrim and wham, the day has gone by.

☼ Reading. There are a vast amount of books out there with a vast amount of stories to tell, and as one who was more or less used to being told things orally, it all fascinates him. He is a big fan of 'the hero's journey' kind of stories. He also likes things with complexity beneath what appears simple on the surface. Political intrigues are always fun for him as well.

☼ He doesn't really have any phobias. Past fears, maybe. Swarming insects do make him somewhat uneasy. This, though, is not enough to freeze him in his tracts or make him feel the gnawing of panic. It's just unpleasant.

If the mods had to pick their own groups of characters to become grand servants for each class, who would you all pick?

Mod Ip: there should only be one grand and it should be Gilgamesh (Legit though I think the concept of grands has been incredibly cheapened and genuinely the only servant I can think of who I care enough about to be grand is Gilgamesh. I think it fits with his whole shtick of being the oldest hero and the king of heroes)

Mod Pollux: I think Benkei

Mod Lolly: I also feel like they've kind of blown the concept of grands. grand archer should have been Arash I will fight u Nasu. Was also really disappointed by how they handled Noah, was hoping he'd be more directly related to Utnapishtim (and also you know not a nemoface arcade-exclusive with barely enough story to fill waifu of the month event on mobile) Also we all know Nasu wanted to make Artoria grand saber and we all know she'd fit the best anyway so he should just do it already

Jianyu and Pat:

Not quite sure what verse to examine them from but with c.yberpunk, I think they’d get along. Jianyu is much more distant in that verse and less privy to getting close to others despite him very, very occasionally working with people, but Pat has that personality that makes it easy to get along with and he, in a way, reminds him a little of the leader of the crew Jianyu helps out with sometimes. Which, in a sense, means that he is observing him. F.GO: I think they talk every now and then since, though Jianyu isn’t a Servant magnet like R.itsuka, he does like talking to the others and getting to know them in the off chance he has to stand in as a Master. 9/10 I think they’d get along pretty well. In Jianyu's mainverse for fantasy, that would be interesting to explore too, though not quite sure where to begin with that.

Jianyu and Dee:

Dee and him would be interesting. How so? Not sure. It’s just a gut feeling I have.

Tomoe and Pat:

Tomoe already rather likes Pat and gives him two thumbs up. On a Servant rating meter, he gets all five stars. Though she doesn’t linger too much on first impressions, Pat tends to leave pretty good ones. I think it’s that mellow kinda way he holds himself idek. It’s a vibe. Either way, she will probably visibly perk up whenever he approaches her to talk, which in itself, is a good sign.

Tomoe and Dee:

Like with Jianyu, I think that she and Dee would be interesting. Though with him it’s more of a vague, nebulous kind of feeling I can’t quite describe, but with her, Tomoe’s presence I think would be one that Dee would feel comfortable around. I like to imagine them talking and just really clicking / getting along. Tomoe needs that kind of bonding as she does miss this.

Tomoe and Cu:

In the Dungeon Adventure verse that I have not actually written out kfjhsfsfs she likes Cu and thinks he’s a good guy. He’s that kind of person you can feel at ease with in her mind, and since he said he likes her horns and thinks they’re basically pretty, as bizarre as that was to hear, it did make her happy. In F.GO, I imagine that they’ve worked together on the same team sometimes and do pretty well working off one another’s strengths. She thinks it’s a shame that he died so young, especially since she was able to live a full life with her child.

Percival and Pat:

Percival and Pat just feels right. They’d get along. I 1000% believe this, but it seems pretty hard not to get along with Pat tbh. They both have pretty approachable personalities and that’s just a recipe for good things to come I think. If Pat can cook, then that’s even better. Cooking bonding…

Percival and Dee:

Percival and Dee. This I’m not quite sure of in how their interactions would go, though am most curious to see where it’d lead.

Percival and Cu:

Percival and Cu. Well…Cu tends to get along with a lot of people, and since Percival is one of the more approachable individuals on this blog, there is a very high chance that they both will, indeed, get along. He’d probably praise Cu for being so young and yet having the spearmanship of someone who has fought in wars for several years. I need to work on a fantasy verse for him one day as that would be interesting to look into too.

A.rash and Pat:

Arash and Pat would just be that handshaking emoji. Two pretty easygoing guys who like to tease people sometimes interacting? I only foresee good things in the distance.

FGO being a gacha game having units with different rarities, creates the illusion that servants that come with a gold border are the strongest ones and rarest to summon. Even if, I'm sure, the story never wants you to think this way, the gameplay sure does, as gold servants come with better base stats and other bonuses. That's why scenes like this one serve as a good reminder that this is absolutely not the case and every heroic spirit is talented in many and various ways. Arash took one look at Bedivere and was able to immediately get a good understanding of his emotional state. Sure, that kind of skill wouldn't be useful if they just immediately fought upon meeting up without exchanging any words (like they would in a farming stage in FGO), but this is never the case in the story. It's like real life, every skill is useful if you can use it well, and a heroic spirit definitely will be able to. Hope more of FGO gets adapted so even people who don't wanna read FGO but would watch an anime of it would enjoy scenes like this, and more.
