The next couple of days were spent in bliss. While you hated living in a trailer, it was home. Your family was home. You made sure Jug and JB were going to school, especially after getting Jellybean enrolled in school in Riverdale. You had officially moved back home.

You even got your old job back while FP was working with Fred at Andrews Construction. You got back into the habit of helping Jug with his writing.

One day, when you picked up JB from school you went ahead and headed to the high school to pick up Jughead. You stood in front of the school, leaning against the truck with JB sitting in the passenger seat playing with her Nintendo DS.

As you stood there, you kept getting glances from other students as school was let out. You had your hands in your pockets of your jeans as you crossed your legs with Timberlands on your feet. A flannel was over an old band t-shirt, which you were sure was your husbands from when you first started going out. You also had a jean jacket over that to keep you warm.

You then saw Jughead step out of the school with a pretty blonde girl, a raven haired girl, and a red headed boy. You were pretty sure that was Betty and Archie. Betty you vaguely remember from a couple times she played with the boys when they were younger. You and her mother, Alice, did not get along. Alice was ex-serpent which didn’t settle well with you as you had been a serpent since around the same time as FP. You didn’t trust her after she refused to acknowledge the fact that she came from the Southside.

While you were proud of the fact that you were a Serpent.

“Mrs. Jones!” Archie yelled loudly as he rushed to hug you. You laughed as you hugged him back. You always saw him as a second son and he always saw you as a second mother. You were always supportive of anything the kids did.

“Archie! You’ve gotten taller since I last saw you.” You told him as you let him go and patted his shoulder.

“That’s what happens when you get older.” He sassed with a grin on his lips.

You smiled and smacked him on the back of the head, making it jerk forward and him to scrunch his face up in a grimace. You always hit hard.

You then looked over at Jughead and saw him with his arm around Betty’s waist. You raised an eyebrow and Jug rushed to introduce the two girls. “Mom, I don’t know if you remember Betty, but this is Betty Cooper. My girlfriend.” He said kinda slowly as if he didn’t want you to know. “And this is Veronica Lodge.” He introduced the Hispanic girl on the other side of him.

“Hi, Mrs. Jones.” Betty said with a smile on her face. You smiled back and shook her hand that she held out.

“Hi, Betty. Yeah, I remember you. You sometimes played with the boys when you guys were younger. You guys can just call me Y/N. I don’t mind.” You turned to Archie. “I think I’ve told you multiple times.” He shrugged with a innocent smile. You laughed.

“Jughead, you didn’t tell me your mom was a badass.” Veronica said as she reached out her hand to shake.

You smirked and narrowed your eyes at her playfully. “Well that’s because she’s my mom. Although she has been my role model since I was maybe 5.” Jug said with a tone of sarcasm at the begin. “Not that I don’t love seeing you Mom. What are you doing here?”

You grinned. “You want a ride home, Jug?” You asked.

He made an ‘oh’ face as he threw his arm around Betty’s shoulders. “I was gonna walk Betty home.”

You smiled. “I can drive you both. Come on.” You then turned to the other two as Betty and Jug headed to the truck.

I think Betty was trying to be quiet but I heard her as she whispered to Jughead. “She is so much easier to talk to than your dad.” He chuckled.

“You two good?” You asked the other two high schoolers. Wanting to make sure they got home safe.

Veronica answered first. “Yeah, I’m at the Pembroke and it isn’t that far. Bye guys.” She then made her way in the direction of the Pembroke. You then turned to Archie.

“You good, kid?” You asked him.

“Yeah, dad should -” He was cut off as someone spoke up from behind you.

“Y/N?” You both turned around and saw Fred standing there.

“Hey, Fred!” You smiled. You missed your best friend. You had been friends with Fred and FP since you were all kids.

“Hey, dad.” Archie said as he walked over his dad. Fred patted his shoulder as he glanced at Archie before looking back at you. You smiled as you shoved your hands in your pockets of your jacket.

“Y/N. You’re back.” Fred smiled big at you.

“Yeah, hopefully for good.” You told him. He went to say something else but JB decided it would be a good time to honk the truck horn loudly.

Archie and Fred jumped at the loud sound while you set your face in a grimace of agitation.

“MA!!!! HURRY UP!”

You turned around with raised eyebrows. “Forsythia Penelope Jones!” You said sternly.

She shrunk down back into her seat as Jug laughed at her.

You sighed as you turned back to Fred and Archie who were chuckling.

“Well, I guess I’ll see you guys later.” You turned to the truck and went to the driver’s side with a wave over your shoulder.

so i had this maladapitive day dream in my head since I watched the show. what if while he was alive he found his southern belle. he had almost everything he ever wanted. he was successful in his career and was making good money, he was respected for the most part, and he even landed the girl that everyone was sure was going to mary a wealthy plantation owner he father set her up with. but in a whirlwind romance, Alastor wins the girl and proposed.

his now fiance is completely unaware of his extra activities, i.e his need to go out and kill the vernom of his city, but alas its all cut short and his dream life is down the gutter and he goes to hell. he figures that his fiance ethier remarried( which he is very upset with) and moved on or she died and went to heaven.

what he didnt know is that she was left with two bundles of joy, a boy and girl. yes alastor had faternal twins bc I head cannoned how it would be with both. now alone though and a social paraiha she is runned out of town for giving birth to the 'devils' children. abandoning their home, she moves to the east coast where she takes on a job as nanny for the willow manor where she is allowed to raise her children and work. hoping to keep the secret of whose children they belong to for their safety.

general description is that his fiance is a true Southern Belle beauty. blonde hair, and blue eyes, and would be mistaken for an angel most of the time with how she acted. if you met her, you would never think she would marry a serial killer.

author(Archie): looks just like Alastor, like a literal copy of his as a human, but he's the sweetest thing will ever meet. just like his mother, and a total mama's boy. takes his job as a brother seriously and is always looking out for his sister. It's the 1940's though and him being of darker completion, he also faces the same issues his dad did. strong, brave, sarcastic, and level-headed he is the one you go to when and if you need the job done fast. as long as his sister isn't there.

flora: she is beautiful just like her mother, just has a very similar disposition as her father. charming, alluring, and cute, she can get into trouble at times. she has a bit of a temper, but she usually doesn't go to violence. More just a degrading remark if she doesn't like someone. She loves her family and her friends. She is a bit hyperactive and becomes obsessed when she gets interested in something, but she is always willing to jump up to help and she tries her best not to cause her mom and brother any trouble. she looks a lot like her mother, but her hair falls into tight blonde curls if she doesn't do anything to it.

Corner of the Sky, from Pippin: Archie!!! This literally could happen anywhere at any point in time. What is this song if not Pippin going left Pippin going right. Put this wherever your heart desires. I want to come up with a Pippin musical episode plot because it’s so good. Jughead singing "Simple Joys" over a montage of Archie not dealing with his problems… I’m getting carried away.

Kind of Woman, from Pippin: Veronica would sing this in an entirely unselfaware way. I’m thinking early season two. Isn’t it a beautiful vision?

Superboy and the Invisible Girl, from Next to Normal: THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A COOPERS SONG. I’m mentally rewriting the n2n episode with this being a Coopers song.

Could I Leave You?, from Follies: A timeskip Veronica and Hermione duet at their respective shitty husbands. It ends with Hermione resignedly going back to the minutiae of marriage and with Ronnie shooting Chad in the face. Don’t worry about how this messes with plot this isn’t about that.

I’ve Never Been in Love Before, from Guys and Dolls: Okay honestly? Archie and Josie duet. Cuter than "Fight For Me", imo.

Do You Hear the People Sing?, from Les Mis: Season six union stuff baybee! Hand in hand with "Bread and Roses". It also would be really funny to have KJ and Vanessa, who in my opinion suffer the most from iPhone Voice in the cast, to do such a grand musical-y song. It would not be very good but boy would it be entertaining.

Therapy, from Tick, Tick… Boom!: BUGHEAD DYSFUNCTION DUET YES PLEASE. Let’s say season four. "Exquisite Corpse" vibe, but suppress it all. Maybe the problem’s simply codependency!

Get This Right, from Frozen II: Okay hear me out this is one of the most stupidly romantic songs I have ever heard. An Archie song, obviously. Timeskip Varchie. Maybe he’s actually about to propose, maybe not, doesn’t matter. All that matters is how much I genuinely think KJ could have slayed this song.

Being Alive, from Company: Obviously go read Jughead’s Weird Fantasy right now if you haven’t already. But even in Riverdale canon I would want Jughead to sing this in timeskip. If we’re getting specific it feels very Tabby tucking him in after he gets too drunk at the key party. Sorry for nixing the gay subtext by putting it next to a Jabitha moment jail for a million years for me I know. It could also be after Archie calls him when he’s in NYC. There you go, gay people.

Something’s Coming, from West Side Story: Season one or seven Archie. Just feels very wholesome. I think it would be cute. Could be performed on stage if season one.

How Did We Come to This?, from The Wild Party (Lippa): A Veronica La Bonne Nuit performance that somehow becomes a group number (she’s the only one singing on stage though). Season three. No "Queenie Was A Blonde" tag. I could make an AMV to this song. I should not do that I already have three in the works. But I could.

Run Away with Me, from The Mad Ones: This is purely self-indulgent because I like on-the-road Jarchie and I have a soft spot for this mediocre musical for personal reasons. 

Suddenly Seymour, from Little Shop of Horrors: Choni! Choni forever and ever amen. Season seven, I think, when Cheryl finally accepts that she’s a lesbian and is facing homophobia from her family/society/etc. Cheryl is Audrey which is funny because “mama was poor” lol no she wasn’t. They should go all the way and get the rights to change the lyrics to Suddenly Toni. Neither Madelaine nor Vanessa has the right voice for this song even a little bit. I do not care. 

Partner in Crime, from Tuck Everlasting: Betty and Archie. In my wildest fantasies this is like a season four flashback to them as kids and we have kid Barchie sing this song but other than that I think this could be a number when they’re hooking up in timeskip. Even though I don’t approve of Barchie hooking up in timeskip because I hate straight people I do think they would slay this. KJ specifically I think would sound great on this, it’s not really a Lili song but oh well. Another version that would be incredibly funny but not as good would be having timeskip Veronica and Reggie sing it about, like, actual crime.

Totally Fucked, from Spring Awakening: Kevin-centric group number in the style of "In" or "Beautiful". Could be anywhere from seasons two to four. Maybe we include the “did you write this?” thing with Betty and Jughead as Melchior. They did some expose for some paper. You know how it is. I wish the Riverdale characters were allowed to say fuck so bad.

Moving Too Fast, from The Last Five Years: Timeskip Jughead. It almost fits but doesn’t in a way that’s oh-so-Riverdale.

The I Love You Song, from The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee: Sad. Shared between Betty, Veronica, and Cheryl, but Veronica-centric (could be an unhinged La Bonne Nuit performance from her with cutaways to the other two, actually). Whenever the most amount of parents in this group are in jail. There’s at least one meaningful shot of Jughead reacting.

I’m Breaking Down, from Falsettos: Okay this one is sort of cheating because I don’t necessarily want to fit it into the actual canon of Riverdale I just think if Archie had come out in high school Veronica would have pulled a "The Ladies Who Lunch" and done this at La Bonne Nuit. I think Cami would body that.

What Is This Feeling?, from Wicked: Hear me out. Bret/Jughead duet.

For Good, from Wicked: Betty and Veronica, season seven. Or quad number in late s4/early s5 before the timeskip. I think Lili would sound gorgeous on this, especially the bridge.

Two-Player Game, from Be More Chill: Look Joe Iconis wrote music that was used in Archie: The Musical let me have this okay. Season one Jarchie. Jughead as Michael obviously even though he’s nothing like Michael and Archie is nothing like Jeremy. I just want to make Cole Sprouse say “favowite”.

Mother’s Gonna Make Things Fine, from A New Brain: I have a whole beautiful vision for an A New Brain musical episode that takes place in season four. It’s too long to get into right now but just know it’s there and it’s gorgeous and I’m going to fully flesh it out soon. Once again this is obviously an Alice song, except instead of well-meaning Jewish mom it’s overbearing evil (albeit MILFy) WASP. She’s fretting over Betty because Betty’s fretting about college or Jughead or something who cares. I just need Mädchen to do this.

Change, from A New Brain: This would happen about three quarters of the way through the episode. In classic Riverdale fashion they’d get a little insensitive with it and this would be a Ronnie La Bonne Nuit performance. Change the government kill the mayor! Say that! Even if the mayor is your parent! Especially if the mayor is your parent!

Brain Dead, from A New Brain: This is my favorite part of my A New Brain musical episode. It’s once again a Bughead repression duet. Just imagine the lavender marriage dream sequence anger tango they would do. I also think Cole Sprouse wouldn’t sound too horrible on this song. High praise. No lyric changes Jughead is saying “as the MD lifts me in his cruisy chiseled arms”. I’m getting angry about the fact that I will never get to see this on my screen I’m going to do some breathing exercises to calm down.

Take Me or Leave Me, from RENT: We’re gonna split this up among couples in classic Riverdale fashion. Timeskip, our Maureens are Kevin and Veronica, and our Joannes are Fangs and Archie. The Joannes don’t really work so maybe we’ll pull another classic Riverdale and cut their verses. Unfortunately the best line of the song (“Women, what is it about them? Can’t live with them or without them!”) has to be cut. I wish Choni could also sing this but alas it can’t work in this. Mostly this is an excuse to give Casey Cott more stuff to sing and I think it would be hilarious if he sung this.

Tango: Maureen, from RENT: Honestly, Riverdale both could and would do a really messy RENT episode. I should ruminate further on that. Anyway. I don’t actually know where or how this could work but I want it to be a weirdly sexually charged Vughead duet. But that makes Betty or Archie Maureen, and they are not Maureen… I don’t know. This one’s just in here because I like imagining Cole Sprouse dancing, and because I think Jughead is Jewish and it would be really funny to hear him say “Riverdale Jewish Community Center”. Let’s go with timeskip. She cheated! She cheated! Betty cheated! Fucking cheated! Oh, shit, could this be a Jarchie song in timeskip when Betty and Archie are hooking up? I think it could! Wow. Good work gang.

Razzle Dazzle, from Chicago: I’m also creating a beautiful Chicago musical episode that I don’t have time to detail right now but trust me it’s awesome. It’s in season four, Hermosa is relevant to it. Anyway this is another Kevin-centric group number where everyone is lying to different people about different things. Crucially, Cole Sprouse says the line “they’ll never know you’re just a bagel”.

My Own Best Friend, from Chicago: Beronica duet. Lives would be changed. They’re sort of fighting at this point in the episode so there would be an underlying current of potential hatefucking. But that’s sort of always the case with this song tbh. Also this isn’t on this playlist but imagine Reggie singing "Roxie". So bad. So good.

American Idiot, by Green Day/from American Idiot: Songs from jukebox musicals count too, right? Archie-led group number obviously. Let’s go with season six, but it could be season one or five, too. Maybe he is the faggot America. Jughead says the line “now everybody do the propaganda”. There’s a coordinated dance thing a la "Random Number Generation".

A Cockeyed Optimist, from South Pacific: Archie, duh. Season one, six, or seven. Probably sung directly to a Lodge.

Watch What Happens, from Newsies: Betty, season four. She's doing a piece on the community center that Archie and Mad Dog co-run. I think Lili would slay this honestly. I debated adding the reprise largely so that I could have Cole sing the snake line and to have an iconic "the poor guy's head is spinning" thing side note how can I make Davey and Jack about Jughead and Archie someone needs to shoot me. Anyway we'd cut the stuff about Katherine being into Jack in this song obviously because Betty is unhappily hetero with Jughead. Hashtag women in journalism.

Matchmaker, from Fiddler on the Roof: 50sdale girls. Really strong fun gay visuals exist in my brain for this one.

Eric and Donna’s Pet Names

I paid special attention to this on my latest rewatch, due to some truly interesting discourse here on tumblr (and on reddit) after That ‘90s Show aired. A couple of people DM’ed me a few examples after a post I’d made, and that is what got me started on this wee project (which turned into a not-so-wee project lol). Here’s my *complete list of all the times Eric and Donna used pet names/terms of affection/nicknames to and about one another on the show(s). Honestly, they used them a lot more than I remembered, particularly Eric.

Donna sometimes calls Eric pet names. She’ll often use them in a light-hearted, teasing way or off-hand, but she also tends to use them when she’s concerned about him. There are a few funny/memorable one-off names (horny nerd boy and The Flash 😂) but she also calls him both honey and baby.

At this point a quick review since I didn’t post the parts of this teeny self-indulgent visdev project in a clean succession

Rise reinvigorated the love I had for TMNT. I was around 8-9 yo eating up the Archie comic run, the 90s movies were coming out, and as seen on Twitter recently they were even interviewed by Barbara Walters. They were HUGE in the 90s. But especially the tv show, Next Mutation, and then the eventual team up with the (Lost in Space iteration) Power Rangers that blew little 13 year old snackugaki’s mind. ...And then Sailor Moon started and I jackknifed directly into anime and manga for the next several years; lost track of what was going on in DC, Image, Marvel, Dark Horse, One Saturday Morning, WB Kids etc.

But one thing nagged me when I started catching up with TMNT media since ‘98 (and before the IDW reintroduction) Venus had apparently been.... not at all well-received during her time-- which, a travesty, a tragedy that through this little thing I’d rectify what Next Mutation skimped out on.

Shout out to tumblr user @venusdeservedbetter​ because boy howdy, she truly did, does, and by my hand will or I will carpal tunnel trying. 

One more note: In this little thing, I’m headcanoning Venus as another sibling. When I had first watched the episode that mentioned it, Venus sounded disappointed when Leo said none of them were blood siblings. In Next Mutation she was an only disciple/child to a single sifu/father figure and looking back now it hurts my heart that she seemed excited for a bigger family only to realize it didn’t really exist. 

Join me for part 4b where I throw darts at a wall chart to see how Draxum would recruit her to learn alchemy and fight against her brothers because they rejected his whole Humanity Bad campaign and then that good, good wuxia trope of disciple vs disciple/martial siblings vs martial siblings happens.

Jokes aside, I've already given this AU some basic groundwork in this post, but:

the kids' ages will necessarily vary a lot more than they do in EAH canon to better fit show events - Ramona, Ash and Maddie are among the oldest, and Apple is slightly older than the twins, a fact which she will occasionally lord over Raven;

Apple and Raven having genuine schoolyard drama going on is so funny to me. Like, what are they feuding over? Who Henry loves more as a little sister figure? Their mothers' war? If One Direction was better than Nirvana? Nobody fucking knows, especially not their dads;

(on a more serious note though, Apple has an inner conflict nearly as complicated as her canon self - sure, no one is telling her to follow some fixed destiny guidelines here, but the pressure of having a family filled with heroes and Certified Good PeopleTM might still get to her. Moreover, Emma's jealousy was off the charts when she was born, even though Snow tries to pretend it never happened;)

I'D FORGOTTEN OUAT HAD FRANKENSTEIN WALKING AROUND CAN WE BRANCH OUT INTO MONSTER HIGH TOO????? Because I'd be STOKED to have Francesca "Frankie" Whale show up as a consequence of her dad's actions (also Jekyll and Hyde are there so like...Hyde Serum!Jackson and Holt when);

Sparrow is a mama's boy while Raven is a daddy's girl and it SHOWS;

you know that meme with the lizard and its offspring that goes "children this is dirt" "dirt?" "dirt?" "dirt?"? That's Ruby with her babies on Wolfstime. Mama wolf running through the woods and teaching her pups things while Dorothy has some time to herself;

they're all very protective of Cedar, regardless of any squabble or picked side. Raven, Maddie and Cerise are protective of Cedar, Apple is protective of Cedar, Sparrow is protective of Cedar, even though he usually doesn't give his sister's friends the time of the day. Basically everyone took one (1) glance at this tiny, shy puppet girl and was immediately flooded with love;

that definitely includes the adults in her life, BTW. Of course daddy adores her and grandpa is beyond thrilled, but the moment Dr Archie Jiminy Hopper realizes that this kid is nothing like young Geppetto and Pinocchio and is instead sweet, quiet and capable of staying put when she's asked to? He's sold. He'd have loved her no matter what, but at least Cedar's behavior won't give him a heart attack before he's 50;

I still think that Cedar should have that wood gene show up in the worst possible moment, but it'd probably be an innate trait of hers rather than the result of Blue's active intervention. HOWEVER, what Blue would most definitely do is try to imply that Cedar did something to deserve what's happening to her, which is nearly as bad imho;

not that that would fly with August, honestly. He's barely convinced by the fact that he deserved his various punishments - you mean to tell him that his little girl, who's been deemed extremely pleasant to have around by just about everyone she meets, has somehow committed some sort of sin and is being puppet-ified as a result? Are you shitting him? This is gonna give him the catharsis arc OUAT never bothered to send his way, alright;

finally, there's a ton of characters I still haven't managed to work in, like Farrah, Faybelle or just any other male character, so if anyone has better ideas, let me know please I'm begging you these kids are so complicated adjshjkfhk

Silas Chrissie has a special place in my heart. I love that boy so much (and it helps that Tumblr seems to love him too).

More than any of my OCs, Silas revealed himself through the narrative. His voice came through so crystal clear in the early part of the draft, and now that I know him better, it was so clearly his OUTSIDE voice, his flirty, suave, charming, distant mask:

this had been the longest time since he was young that she had gone without speaking to or seeing her son. he had always been a mamas boy, glued to her hip from the day she walked out of that court with him holding her hand, and never letting go until now. archie had been all of the good things in the world, possessed a softness and a kindness in spite of everything he's been through that she admired more than anything, that she couldn't be prouder of. but it seemed that that all had been a facade. she spent years worrying about her daughter, always dubbing archie as the 'easy' kid, not realizing how much pain he carried, too, but just didn't show. she had felt terrible for how their last conversation went, terrible for snapping on him out of fear and her own ptsd, and she planned on rectifying it with him immediately, until he took it to twitter. headlines have been made, rumors had been spread about the kind of mother she really is, and things were being sad about her that hadn't been in years and because of that, she's kept her distance, waiting for him to reach out to her and her heart broke more and more every day that he didn't. but despite all that, hearing he got cast in a new t.v show made her beam with pride, wanting nothing more than success for her children, and that was something she couldn't ignore. so, after calling his agent, she made her way to his new apartment close to his set, bamboo plant in hand as she made her way up the steps. shaky nervous breath left her as hand reached up to knock the door, tapping her foot anxiously as she awaited for it to open and to be met with the face that so painfully reminded her of his father. "hi..." she said quietly. "i, uh, your agent told me that you're home and i...i just wanted to drop this off. they say when you move into a new place, you need to have six stalks of bamboo to bring good luck so i...i just wanted to make sure you had this." she said, reaching out to hand the plant over to him.

Why is Mama's Boy such a good song, and why the hell is it Archie's and Tulip's song

But on a serious note, Two Birds On A Wire and Mama's Boy basically sum up Archie and Tulip to a T. Archie never really.. cared for his sister, to put it bluntly. He, like his parents, cared about what she could give the family. That being her genius. But he put on the facade of the older brother who was in the same boat as her.

Him being cruel will never justify the abuse his and Tulip's parents put them through (and continue to put them through). But Archie would continuously put Tulip down when they were younger so he could put himself up. He was able to play it off when he was younger as just coincidences, but as Tulip got older, she saw through it all, and the two were distant.

The only reason Tulip ever wanted to stay in contact with him was because she thought he was under their parents' thumb. She thought that, eventually, he would be free from them. But after the Family Dinner Disaster, she realized he never cared for her and never will. She's always just been a means to an end or a stepping stone for him.

That's the day all of Tulip's family was dead to her.

thinking about how fp had to learn to fight at such a young age to protect himself from his father and him even as a child trying to protect his mama from getting hit and all he ever knew growing up in that house was violence and how you needed to reciprocate it to survive and of course that carried out into the rest of his life where he was always quick to get physical when someone even looked at him weird because in his mind everything is a threat and its kill or be killed so of course hes going to swing first and then how hes so protective of fred and archie and anyone close to him or even just someone who cant fight for themselves fp will insert himself and defend them because he just cant sit by and watch someone be bullied or abused it reminds him too much of his childhood and of course this gives him the reputation of being a troublemaker and violent and he hates that because when other people say it they make it sound like he's like his father but he isnt theyre not fighting for the same things but sometimes it does feel a little too close for comfort...

And then you add into that how one of fps most reliable cover stories for senior beating on him so bad he couldn't hide it was "i got into a fight..." 🥺 and sometimes he'd add on details to make it more realistic and that was easy to do bc he was just drawing from the violence he grew up surrounded by and the violence he saw and lived with every day... and this contributed to his reputation as a delinquent and a troublemaker and a bad, violent kid that would be a bad influence on good kids like Fred.... People were always asking why would he hang out with some guy who always came to school banged up from fistfights he started 🥺 and people would just go wild with the rumours and the things they'd say about him and then he couldn't escape this reputation and yeah some of it was true cuz like you said he had a quick temper cuz that's what he grew up with... But most of it wasn't true but he could never escape it 😖 and it weighed so hard on his psyche and contributed to so much of his self loathing bc he hated the parts of him that were like his dad 🥺

And when you said he absolutely cannot sit by and let someone be bullied or abused!!!! 😭 That's literally canon he has to go smashing heads to protect teenagers he is so so so sensitive from his upbringing to people picking on others who are defenseless 🥺 AND HIM AS A LITTLE BOY TRYING TO PROTECT HIS MOM FROM BEING BEAT PLEASEEEEE GOD 😭 he literally just wants to protect people from violence but the only way he knows how is with more violence and this is why he and fred are drawn to each other cuz freds such a pacifist 🥺 but sometimes it isn't enough in the real world and fps inserting himself into the role of freds protector 😭

Five seconds, that’s all it took for Zephyr and Archer to run off without you. Otto had came to the store with you, but he had walked away only for a second, and when he came back, they were gone.

“Oh, mama’s not going to be happy with you,” he gives a smile to you, and you can’t help but to be slightly annoyed. “They were just right there.”

Panicking you start to move faster down the aisles. His voice still talks to you, but he’s calm. Speaking perfect now, although every word comes out slowly. Annunciating everything, while he re-learns to talk. “This isn’t funny.”

“You should put the store on lockdown. Dad’s had to do that before. It was Archie and Brookie that time. Archie wanders. Unless…”

“He’s with your mom. Then, he never leaves. I cant go back to the castle with only one third of the kids I took.”

He gives a little chuckle and starts to walk away but you turn around to him, “No! I can’t lose all three.”

“And you’d be losing the one taking over the company,” he gives you a little wink. He’s already starting to get his father’s charm. Perfect for the world that Carter was training him for.

It isn’t until you turn a corner and see the precious Baizen boys with a giant biker, and you really start to panic. “Archer, Zephyr! Please don’t hurt them. You have no idea who they are.”

The large man gives you an odd look, picking both boys up, “I know exactly who they are.”

Your body goes in front of Otto’s pushing him back behind you, “Then you know their family will pay you whatever or or…”

“You’ll never be heard from again,” Otto’s voice cracks, and you turn and notice he’s laughing. “Put them down,” he calmly speaks, and the man listens immediately.

“Pick me up, Opie,” Archer continues to jump at his side.

“Sorry, sweetheart, I’m very much aware of who they belong too. The whole family actually. Jax, Posie’s boy, he’s kinda my best friend.”

“Opie shoots us with water guns. Can you follow us home? Mom’s making lasagna.”

“Is she? And you and the nanny are coming to get snacks for the week?” he gives you a smile and winks at you. Those kind eyes giving Archer the utmost attention.

“Mama calls her Blossom. She lives in a lavender field.”

“And your dad calls her?”

“Nothing. My conversations are typically with Story. We should really be going,” grabbing each of their arms, you spin to leave.

“I didn’t mean to offend you. I know Carter only sees one woman. Let me make it up to you. How about dinner?”

You gawk at him, only to have all three boys giggle at the two of you with the oooohhs. “Come on, don’t make me look like a fool in front of my boys. What kind of person would you be?”

“Blossom, Opie is asking you for a date,” Otto whispers. “Do it. He really likes kids,” you don’t talk about your personal life with the boys, but Otto is like his grandfather and extremely perceptive. “Please. We like Ope. And he’s good with all the Drysdale’s.”
