You know how companies used to make flour sacks with pretty flower patterns on them because mothers would make dresses out of them for their daughters? We should bring that back. Paper bags designed to be reused as wrapping paper. Jars of jam designed to look nice filled with pencils or homemade sauces. Fabric that's high quality enough to use as a patch.

Give things a second life!!

I did a course on traditional crown making for Swedish folklore. I did not make a traditional crown.

Look at what I have wrought, and feel it gazing back at you. A tribute to Argos Panoptes, the peacock’s eyes.

I have officially finished quilting the center of my Postcards to Sweden. Now I’m moving on to doing the borders. Should be nice I think!

A story of one knitting project I am very proud of!

So, once upon a December 2024 I was entranced by one of San's sweaters -

I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I was thinking about The Sweater.

Oh, but I think I can knit it! - rightfully thought I.

And I did:

And then it was around February and there suddenly was a hard deadline - I knew, I'd want to wear it to the concert in March...so I knitted day and night!

The night before my flight to Seoul I was stringing it with a black cord😅

BUT IT WAS DONE IN TIME

And it's the best sweater I've ever made♥️

Week 12/52 is really proving to me that I knit so much faster when the pattern is more complicated. I love having that little bit of change every row to keep it interesting and how visual my progress is. After spending way to long knitting week 11 I’ve knit most of week 12s first sock in the last day or two.

I love you tailors, I love you recycling center employees, I love you jewelry repair people, I love you tech repair people. I love you plumbers, I love you electricians. I love you all maintenance workers, who make it so things don't have to be fully replaced when they break.

There are so many ways to contribute to the climate movement.

Sailor Moon Raisonne

I'm finally done with this project!! Please enjoy the scans I made of the Raisonne artbook. As a reminder, I did not scan most of the old artwork that was already published in the original artbooks; Miss Dream and @setteidreams have you covered on those. I did meticulously scan all the unpublished/new artwork, as well as some updated pieces of older artwork!

There's been minimal editing on my part so you can go crazy with whatever edits you want. The entire gallery is about 2.15 gigabytes.

Credit is very much appreciated (but not required) when using these scans. Unless you're uploading them in bulk to another website, then credit is required (I've had more than a few people in the past upload entire books without crediting me, which kinda sucks).

Also, please try to keep this on the down low, as I've been copyright struck before when my stuff was reposted and blew up on Twitter, lol. Hopefully this one evades detection!
