Before Flevance fell, Law masturbated to Nika at least once.

This one was drink-spit-worthy but yes, I agree. I have always supported the idea that in Wano, Law is a 'man who stopped believing god who sees god for the first time'. There's even a post somewhere in the depths with that exact verbiage. So, here you go, a little headcanon about Law, a man who stopped believing in his god Nika, meeting his ex-god and how I think it would play out. Best be assured I am RUNNING to make this a full blown oneshot.

Like any good religious boy, Law sometimes got horny over the iconography of his god. He couldn't help it, Nika was hot with his flowing white hair, red eyes, and incredibly hot body. A perfect specimen, as a god should be. Sometimes Law even touched himself to the thought of Nika, he couldn't help his lusty preteen behavior though he was incredibly ashamed of it as an adult.

Imagine his shock when he sees the beautiful god he had spent his childhood worshipping bursting through the ceiling in the form of his alliance partner whom he had saved and who had saved him in return.

It seems Luffy doesn't understand who or what Nika is, simply calling it Gear 5 and a new power of his. However, the moment Law saw him on that rooftop, he knew exactly who Luffy had become. From the statutes of his church to the altars in the homes of his family and friends, Law has seen that face. Nika. Luffy is Nika.

Later, after Luffy realizes he is Nika and what that means, Law feels guilty knowing he had been attracted to Nika in a sexual way. He's always been secretly attracted to Luffy too, but that's a deep dark secret he intended to take to the grave. He confesses his sins like the religious man he is, apologizing to Luffy for seeing him in that way and promising to follow him and treat him with the respect he deserves.

Luffy's confused, he doesn't even know what a Nika is. He's not a god he's just Luffy. He doesn't want to be treated with that kind of respect and he's always felt the same way about Law but he didn't realize what it meant until he saw Law for the first time after he connected with his new form which apparently was called Nika. When he laid eyes on Law after he woke up from his sleep in Wano and found Law, he was almost glowing. He was so pretty with his wary and always on-guard golden eyes, his perfect jawline, fluffy hair, and amazing muscled body that looked like art with all those black lines of his tattoos. Luffy realized then he liked Law as MORE than just a friend and that he should have noticed this long ago.

Luffy tells Law he doesn't want to be worshipped by anyone and that Law is his equal but if he really wants to get on his knees for him he'd be more than happy to let Law pray to him in other ways. Law almost passes out, he's never heard Luffy talk like this but damn is it hot.

Luffy activates gear 5 and is floating in front of him with his legs spread and a seductive smile on his face and Law can't help but do exactly what he said, dropping to his knees in awe that the sheer radiance of the god he once worshipped who was now right here in front of him, offering himself up like a buffet.

Though Law stopped believing in Nika after the world beat him down over and over, he can't deny his existence now that he sees him with his own eyes. So, like any religious person, he is greedy for his god's love and he decides to takes full advantage of this blessed opportunity he has been given.

He finds that his god is very good at pleasing his servants (Law acknowledged the 'we're equals' part but he hasn't quite accepted it yet, he's still in shock). However, once they're done and he's almost passed out from how amazingly demanding and insane the sex wa, Nika turns back into Luffy once again.

In that moment Law realizes it's not Nika but Luffy in Gear 5 who gives Law the most mind-breaking, unfathomable, borderline impossible sex of his life with Nika's powers that he has inherited. It's not Nika who he wanted to praise and show his love for, it was Luffy. He doesn't need a god to save him, he already has one who has performed miracles over and over, saving him from dying at the hands of Doflamingo.

Law concludes that Luffy isn't Nika, he's still the same Luffy he's always known only now he has the power of the god and that's totally fine with him. He didn't need Nika's love before and he doesn't need it now. All he needs is Luffy's affection and damn does he get it because, like any god-but-not-god, Luffy is very good to his favorites. Luffy is upset with himself for not realizing this before and vows to take full advantage of his time with Law from now on.

There is a vent in the last part (about pro ship:/+ wired shipping + block list) it's naturally negative so reading at your own risk.

So in the new Batman and Robin issue #7 Nika's sister making an appearance, got me thinking of other possibilities for sibling characters to come back.

Mostly I’m thinking about Respawn since he is Joshua Williamson's own character. And He made Respawn appeared in the last issue of Robin(2021), he also brought back Mara in that run too (just some appearance in the later issue).

And now Joshua Williamson is writing Batman and Robin, so naturally he can bring some characters back in this run. He had said in an interview that he might have figured out a way(try) to bring back Maya.

Throwback to 2022 of this old wip/art I made, is about what I think the emo teens of Lazarus squad dynamic would look like.

I imagine Nika and Respaw are irritated/tolerate with each other but would stay for Damian because Nika is Damian's girlfriend and they want to stick together. Meanwhile, Damian likes to include his half-brother in some fun activities (Respawn is acting reluctant bc of his own issues but he actually likes to have friends and feel include).

I haven’t finished this art bc I was going to add more wips (with other characters like Rose and Hawke) to make it a post. I didn't finish this art back then bc I was afraid Talia fans would be mad at me for drawing Respawn.

Trust me, I hate that Talia gets associated with Deathstroke like this, but I think Respawn is a confused/mistreated teen character and Damian (bless his heart and soul) still wants to be his brother regarding the whole mess. I will explain/talk more about my thoughts on Respawn as a character and his situations once I finish these drawings and get ready to post them.

Writing/typing words is harder than drawing for me personally. Drawing is like channeling my energy into a picture and forming an atmosphere and hopefully people will understand what thoughts and feelings I was trying to convey. Writing is using more brain powers to choose the correct and cohesive words, so people would not misunderstand what I'm talking about. Especially when English is not my first language, and even so I normally don't talk(write) much in my mother tongue either…(I'm not a quick thinker, it took me a longer time to think things through, writing literally exhausted me physically and mentally more than drawing.)

It doesn't mean I don't enjoy writing, it's just not my first choice to convey thoughts… but considering I can't draw everything I have in my mind and it takes even longer time to finish any art, I just need to write down things first from now on. Tumblr is the only place I can think of that has this longer text feature blog post and I'm more familiar with this platform format. So I will still be here posting my fan content.

Ekebolou Books Update!

So, I now have a decently functional single site from which you reach all the stories, descriptions, and individual chapters as you wish. This and the now active tagging system should make my beehiiv a lot more functional, and make it easier to take a gander and see if there's anything you might want to read.

There's many hundreds of thousands of words on there, including one completed novel, some one-shot style stories, some meandering little slices of life stories, some history, some drama -sex, violence, rock'n'roll, werewolves?(maybe?!), vampires, catholics?, teen superheroes or at least, like, charitably-engaged teens - hopefully you'll be able to find something to read!

I know the design is a little... well, look, there's no default color schemes, and I tried to follow tips I found online, but I'm not a design person. Hopefully it's not hurting anyone's eyes, and hopefully I'll get some tips on how to improve it. The aesthetics may not be very impressive yet, but maybe one day.

Description: A completed (more than) novel-length story centered on M/M Romance, with the following themes: military, religion, family, war, diplomacy, trauma, recovery, betrayal, and reunification.

Summary: Can Esras Cole unravel the mystery of his former classmate and lover’s betrayal - a betrayal which put them on opposite sides of a civil war - in time to save Dominicus Galen’s life? Perhaps more importantly: should he? And if he does, what will it cost?

Academy Days

Description: An ongoing story analogous to a school drama, with day-in-the-life style chapters, coming-of-age themes, and broadly centered on M/M romance backed by a rivals-to-lovers arc. Also contains themes of military school, religion, family, cultural clashes, interpersonal conflicts and self-discovery.

Summary: The story of Nika and Cole, protagonists of Kostas, during their late teens at the Academy of Ainjir, their fours years learning the art of war and the grueling process of falling in love in the middle of a meat grinder of rivalry, politics, violence, and poorly supervised young men.

The Tenor Group

Description: (Humour/Drama) The adventures of a group of teenagers with special abilities in a near-contemporary world in which the manifestation (and eventual destruction) of ‘the Island’ seems to have caused worldwide genetic disruption. Themes related to superheros, vigilantes, social justice, disability, conspiracy, mental health (and eventually mysticism), teamwork/found family/found-people-you-have-to-get-along-with, and coming of age.

Summary: Islander abilities are rarely unmixed blessings, and vigilante teams have been illegal for decades, but that doesn’t matter much when you’re a billionaire with an inexplicable soft spot for Islander causes and a teenage girl who can set things on fire with her mind. Nobody is quite sure what anybody else is doing - the team is hiding it from their billionaire sponsor, Seth the firestarter is finding her crusade increasingly conflicting with living lives she never imagined possible, Decon the deconstructor isn’t even totally sure why he was invited along, Bosh the sociopathic (not really, that’s not a real thing) empath didn’t even want to be here, Julie the genius is just here for the research funding, Wes the deeply traumatized ninja is happy he’s not in jail, and for some reason they were obliged to have Firmament along. Firmament - who hasn’t aged in decades since he squashed his old team to death in a mysterious accident - is pretty much comatose. Pretty much.

So, yeah, nobody knows what anybody is doing, but by damn, they’re going to do it.

The Ballad of Baby Ortega

Description: (Experimental/Neo-Noir/Horror) Stories more about mood and setting than straight narration - there is a story, naturally, but each piece tries to stand alone

Summary: Baby is a sex worker and a werewolf hunter on neon city streets where her social invisibility and the fantasy of beasts that stalk the night mingles to make nothing quite certain. She loves Gloria. That’s certain. But Gloria might not be certain Baby’s world - except the murdering - is real.

Remi and Harry

Description: (Historical Fiction/ Romance/ Comedy/ Horror) An M/M romance taking place in the early (precise date yet to be determined) nineteenth century, between a… slightly dense vampire hunter and the vampire who seems to have fallen in love with him. There are chronological arcs, but some of the stories were written quite some time ago, and might be a little inconsistent.

Summary: Remi has come to Europe from the backwoods of early nineteenth century Louisiana to join the Brotherhood of Slayers, a (somewhat disreputable) group of hunters of the unusual and undead who most often die or go mad (or have started out mad) in the course of their holy business, and thus try to wash indelible sins from his soul. Harry, at more than a century old now, might have actually started to feel vampiric life a little boring - but then he runs across Remi and decides to tag along a while. Neither is really quite ready to admit that they’re falling in love - Remi because it would eternally damn him, and Harry because it would be gauche - but the risky life of a vampire slayer may force them to it before they’re ready.

The Ballad of Harry and Ellis

Description: (Historical Fiction/ Crime/ Melodrama/ Romance) An M/M Romance taking place in the early eighteenth century between two young but enthusiastic members of the criminal underworld of London. A dramatic tale of love, struggle, violence, conflicting goals, tragedy, and death. Contains a fair bit of cant and dialect. This is Harry the vampire of Remi and Harry as a still-living young man. PS: This story makes a pretty dramatic tone shift pretty dang fast from the light humour of Remi and Harry to much more gritty and dramatic material.

Summary: Harry barely escapes his orphanage apprenticeship alive, determined to use whatever means he must to better his situation - but he has never truly lived in the city, on the streets, and lives in fear his unusual inclinations means he’s destined to die in disease and squalor. Meeting Ellis by chance, he is terrified - Ellis, daring, canting, already leader of his own tight, small, gang and well connected to underworld life in and outside of the city, chose to live the dangerous life of thief and highwayman after his exile from his family in Ireland. But Harry’s refusal to give in to his fear makes Ellis take to him; Harry’s refusal to be taken under their protection until Ellis practically begs him makes the pull even stronger. But they both know that this can’t last - not least because the way of the road is a short life and a merry one, but also because they want different things. Whether the hangman or their own goals will separate them first is anyone’s guess, but in the meantime, they and their love will take fierce vengeance on the world that denies them

Left loose to be tossed by the whims of the mercurial winds, she somehow always manages to maintain elegant curls and a certain grace that sees it caress the curve of her spine in a way most provocative.

Faintly bruised at their sockets by the wonders of her scholarly pursuits, Aleyria’s eyes are gently swept into feline intrigue by a careful application of stiletto sharp liner and smoky powder. Her gaze lightens only at the twilit violet points that illuminate the shadow's incursion into her dark sclera, parting with an unearthly glow that yet defies the corruption of her practices.

Five feet, eight inches.

BUILD:

Curvaceous, in a word -- atypical for elven standards of beauty, in others. Though she hardly lacks for the elegance that the timeless blood of the elves gifted her, a certain softness clings to the fullness of her hips, the swell of her bust. While there is much to be admired of her, she favors intimation and subtlety over outright provocation: the peek of a long, shapely leg from the slit of a slip of figure-hugging silk that otherwise maintains her modesty is all that can be expected of this scholar.

DISTINGUISHING MARKS:

Though plain, a curious rosary woven of black beads hangs at her breast, the visage of a veiled maiden at its end.

When she was a little witch, Annika Maarifa would climb the walls separating two lands with her mother. She lived in the witches’ lands in a small town called West Calliope. Where potions were brewed over purple fires and cats who wandered the streets could talk. Her mother would teach her runes that could summon spirits and make people tell the truth as the stars made their way into the sky. There was something calming about that that no one in the village seemed to understand. As they lit the tray with wood inside and talked over the embers and watched the swooping dragons fly over their own land ever so gracefully.

Sometimes her mother would tell her the history of how they came to be. How the humans roamed across the land. How one human fed another sick human with a blooming flower from a peach tree found in the centre of the Isles of the Blessed, granting that human with powers. That human became the first witch and gave her many sisters and brothers powers as well. The first witch had many lizards when growing up, the largest lizards in the land. But unfortunately, they had died many years ago. She went to the lizards’ graves to pay respects. She wept at the loss of them, staining the ground with magic. As she left, the lizards grew larger and larger, and soon came to life as large wings sprouted out off their backs. They burst out of their graves and flew to their owner. Who silently thanked the human race for the powers before making the dragons and witches swear that they would help protect the humans. Soon, they helped humans in desperate times, when everything seemed hopeless.

Nika loved that tale, but what she loved more is her mother’s retelling of the tale. She would open her palms, sparks of green and yellow would emit from the seer’s hands. She would let a purple dragon out of her hat and let it fly around Nika’s head. Sometimes, her mother would draw the human giving the peach blossom with her fingertips on the air and animate it so the drawings would seem to move in the air. Nika’s mother was a master of storytelling.

Her mother was sometimes viewed by her brothers as a hoarder. If you ever peered into their attic, you would see boxes and trunks of the strange knick-knacks, trinkets and souvenirs she brought back from travelling from lands far and near. She would hang up pictures of her, her cloak’s hood on, smiling at the camera with a teacup in hand while a dragon was sipping tea in the background. Again, Nika loved to hear the stories she would have when she came back. But the thing wasn’t the tea that turned different colours depending on your mood, nor was it the wand concealed in a cane with an eagle’s gold head. The thing that Nika loved the most from the treasury that lived above her, was her mother’s notes.

Ageing and the yellowed paper were bound with a hard leather cover, there was a spine embellished with swirls of silvers what shimmered with the colours of the rainbow if you held it close to a light. Her mother had stitched flowers and unicorns onto the cover that moved if you touched them. The pages held so much information. About the world outside the village, the plants you could use to make an apple rot in seconds, the humans and so much more. She would read a small portion of the rather thick and large book every night. Whispering about the different types of pixie dust that could be collected or the flowers you can use to make someone go insane. Thanks to the knowledge that the book held, she was known as the cleverest girl in West Calliope.

“She knows how to cure my cow!” Said one man to another as Nika skipped away with a used potion test tube tucked into her belt.

“The Sand Goblins are gone!” The principal of the local school exclaimed as she poked her foot into the sandbox, checking for any Sand Goblins. “She is a miracle.”

Her grandma would chuckle and reply, “She’s ever so skilled. Thanks to her mother, just like her mother.”

Yes, Nika loved the knowledge inked in the pages of the book. But what topic was the best? Was it the plants? The potions that bubbled until they became silky smooth? The types of magic a witch could master? No. For Nika it was different.

It was dragons. Of course.

The great beasts. The ones that had wings, the ones without wings that resembled noodles. Every single dragon, she knew so many specifics for them. She knew that a Northern Nāga only feasted on male deer that they freeze first, she knew that an Evergreen Wyvern would leave the guilty in razor-sharp briars with no food or water for days before coming back and eating the guilty alive. She knew that the Purple-Tongued Lindworm had such a powerful burp, it can make you deaf. The only way to avoid it was to have a necklace of rabbit bones with you. The Lace-Clawed Drakon could cause such horrible illusions, it could trick you into jumping off a cliff or hanging yourself with a king cobra.

She often begged her mother to let her come on her expeditions, but she refused. Telling Zori that it was important that she stayed away. That Nika was not a professional. That when she was 18, she would teach her.

Ethan Relindal often teased her about her obsession with dragons. Taunting her about how her ‘screwed up mommy’ would never allow her on the field. How he said that at least her skin colour (she was of African heritage) would allow her to camouflage in the jungle before she died of fire from a Red Rông. He said that her tribe music would also lead it away anyway. Then she replied that at least she’ll be safe from a Red Rông, and then explained to him how it called on the weather instead of breathing fire.

“Besides, your stupidity will surely attract the Red Rông’s attention. You gesticulating like that, waving your wand like a baby with a rattle. Thinking transfiguration spells will solve all your problems, a fool you would be to think that. They will call down lightning where ever they hear your high-pitched groaning Ethan. Go let a sneak eat you, I’m sure you’ll be safe. Once their mouths take a large bite out of you, they will spit you out as they realise how disgusting your taste.” Nika tipped her hat. “Good day, Ethan.” She then walked away, leaving a stunned and dumbed-out Ethan and a large group of clapping people.

Everyone knew that if you stepped over the line with Nika, she would spit loads of knowledge at you, completely roasting you in the process. Or sometimes she would throw a group of sun scarabs at you and have them crawl over your skin until your skin starts to ache and peel. She was not someone you’d like to have a fight with, you could see that her eyes would turn from her usual amber to a nearly blinding gold. A sign of powerful magic brewing beneath her fingertips. Trust me, you do not want to get in the crossfire of a witch’s magic.

No one in her town, other than her mother loved dragons as much as she did. If onky she was allowed to meet them. But little did she know, that this love that she had, an urge to be with them, to take care of them, to be friends with them.

Not to be left out, Jay gets in on the action, quoting Common’s line from Erykah Badu’s Love of My Life, “Y'all know how I met her/ We broke up and got back together/To get her back, I had to sweat her,” not once but on two different songs! In summary, The Carters be stealin’. But it may be impossible for artists as prolific and influential as the Beyoncé and Jay-Z to steal. Beyoncé can make a SZA song, no questions asked, because SZA probably doesn’t exist with Beyoncé. On Nice Bey raps, “I give you life!” Beyoncé, like the God of Job, giveth and taketh freely. The rampant, borderline problematic, appropriation of this peak career Beyoncé and late career – yet still razor sharp – Jay-Z (last year’s 4:44 may be his best album, just saying) is The Carters ultimate flex.

The story goes Marvin Gaye originally wanted to sing the American songbook like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, but save for a few exceptions like Nat King Cole and Sammy Davis Jr. black men were not easily granted this venerated position within the music industry: to have your voice so purely appreciated and be so celebrated and accepted for who you are that you had the honor of singing only the standards. Not burdened with the added pressure of writing and arranging, these mavens were liberated to explore and perfect the full artistry of their voice. On Everything is Love The Carters avenge Gaye, subsuming and filtering the whole of pop music into their version of singing the standards. Jay-Z for one has been on a career long mission of righting historical wrongs. One 2001’s Izzo off the seminal The Blueprint, Jay raps, “I’m overcharging niggas for what they did to the Cold Crush;” a forerunning hip hop group egregiously exploited by record company executives. The Louvre, the site of the Apeshit video serves as the perfect fortress for the Carter coup. All culture, from high art to trap music, is theirs to do with as they please. The Louvre after all simultaneously represents the best of human artistry as well as serving as the consummate shrine to imperialism. Everything in the building – the Nike, the Venus De Milo, even the Mona Lisa – arrived there through some wresting of power and shift in dominion.

Everything is Love is not about music, though the music is fun. It's a corporate merger bordering on monopoly, and the two principals can not be bothered by human sized questions like originality or who said or did what first. This is enterprise level. Steal the technology, rename it Instagram Stories and bet the consumers will ultimately stay at home with their preferred providers, Bey and Jay, instead of toggling between apps. Even the title Everything is Love sounds like ad copy for some behemoth brand, dogma from a hollywood cult, or the utterance of an actual deity; Mr. Manhattan hovering both over the globe and between every atom, seeing things at such a macro and micro level that birth and death, a summer breeze or nuclear blast, individualist capitalism and collective communist revolt all become one. Identities merge. On Black Effect Jay-Z vaunts, “I’m Malcolm X!” Two verses later Beyoncé proclaims, “I’m Malcolm X!” The transitive property in all its splendor. Beyoncé spanning gender tells the sycophants to “get off my dick.” In the prelude to Black Effect, my favorite song on the album, an older lady with a Caribbean accent expounds on the mysteries of love, concluding that love for all mankind should be the culmination of things. Perhaps this love for all mankind, and not some myopic power move, is the ultimate goal of Beyoncé and Jay-Z and the higher purpose behind all of the stealing, and appropriation, and craven capitalism. Beyoncé doesn’t want to steal from SZA, she thought CTRL was dope and wanted to make some music just as good. Bey likes A Kid Named Cudi just as much as your college roommate did. And while Jay doesn’t casually throw compliments toward other rappers, he regularly reminds that he’s a fan of Common* and even if the world does not think of him in the list of the greats, Jay does. At a time when borders are becoming less malleable, conservatives and liberals must stay in discreet boxes and feign hatred for fear of appearing traitorous, genuine love and enthusiasm gets you labelled a Stan, and the slightest whiff of cultural appropriation is abruptly stamped out, Beyoncé and Jay-Z want everybody to lighten the fuck up. Feel free to try on someone else’s style, root for a country other than your own in the World Cup, vote on behalf of someone else and not just in your own interests, grab your dick and go apeshit while still being a lady, or strap on an apron like Darius and get in touch with your inner auntie by putting your foot in some greens. In the end everything is love.
