Why did you choose your url?

A friend gave me the ladybug nickname and it kinda stuck (literally a tattoo lol) and I thought it was fun and cute for a simblr name.

One sideblog is my first go at a simblr. I stopped using it when my computer died and i lost that save. It’s @legacysimlife Second sideblog is my cc finds. It’s @lbsreblogs The most recent is BK’s “website” @iambkay

I use tags for my stories and my sims but not specifically a tag for queues. #bklegacy #bklgen1 #bklgen2 #bklfriendsfam #simselfshenanigans and then sim names. also have tags for #bk closet chronicles, #cas adventures and #decorating wip. 

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

I originally came to tumblr for cc and then saw people were posting pics of their gameplays and stories and wanted to do the same.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

My icon is usually a recent fave pic of Bailey bc she’s the star of this show or my simself bc it’s me.

Why did you choose your header?

I wanted my header to show all the sims that I currently play with so tah dah

What’s your post with the most notes?

I think it’s the BLM Rally post with all of my sims. I checked and it has 293 notes!

How many mutuals do you have?

I have no idea where to find this info but I’m just gonna say my mutuals are dope-tastic.

How many followers do you have?

The number says 1428 but they are certainly not all active and prob porn bots.

How many people do you follow?

297 but I’m sure most of those are not active

Ummm I guess my random posts are shitposts (???) so yes, but I try to make them funny lol

Ugh strongly dislike lol. I reblog what I love or want to support/boost. Don’t need to be told when

Yes I think they can be fun, sometimes great challenges

I get strangely intimidated by some ask games because I don’t always think I have a real story/characters. I don’t have an end or spoilers etc. But I enjoy getting asks and I spend A LOT of time on them when they come around.

As a disabled BLM supporter, this is probably the closest I will be able to get to attending a protest. I’m sorry the quality is not great, still not used to posing sims as it’s new to me.

BLM SIMS RALLY pt. 1: it’s for my people ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 

black lives matter. today. tomorrow. and every day.

just because the news stopped talking about it doesnt mean the fight is over. this is a MOVEMENT not just a moment in the chapter of 2020.

there’s still so much we can do. keep protesting, keep donating, keep volunteering, keep signing petitions, keep educating yourself and others, keep yourself updated, and support and give love to black people (especially black women and nonbinary people) who are leading this movement!

Chapter 21: #BLM

( Before reading this story I want you to understand a few things: In my version of Sulani, it is a different country in the world. That is, these sims are  able to see what is going on in the United States. Except for one important person, all of the other characters' names are randomized, fictional characters and not meant to be anybody. I take no credit in creating the legend that is Bonehilda, she is solely EA’s creation. I am not trying to make light of the situation at all, there is a purpose.)

Bonehilda: THIS NEEDS TO STOP! NOT TOMORROW, NOT SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE, WE NEED CHANGE NOW!

What happened to George Floyd was sickening! Watching an innocent man be murdered, just because of the color of his skin, was horrifying. The idea that Mr. Floyd could still be with us today if the officer didn’t press him to the ground in an unlawful, inhumane manner. If the surrounding officers stepped in and protected him. But, sadly we can’t take back time, and we need to stop asking what if’s. The only thing that we can do now is demand change. This needs to happen. Now, not just the United States, but around this world. Every country has racism and we need to stop it. 

*Crowd continues cheers in agreement*

I look at this group of people, standing in front of me today, here in Sulani, we are a diverse group of individuals. But at the end of the day, no matter what color your skin is, someday you will end up like me, just bones. For most of you, that will be years from now. So I stand before you, telling you that we need change. Black Lives Matter.

*Crowd chants Black Lives Matter*

 There are so many families out there, mother’s out there, father’s out there who are afraid for the safety of their family. Just because they are a person of color. These parents want nothing more than to give their children a good life. A good life that isn’t filled with racism. A life that isn’t justified by the color of their skin! We need to wake people up! Make them listen! We need them to stop being silent! We need justice! No Justice, No Peace!  

*Crowd chants No Justice, No Peace!*

*Bonehilda takes a long inhale. Wondering how to start this next part.* Bruce Hueso was the love of my life, and Cain’s loving dad. He always wanted to be the first person of color writing for the Windenburg Paper. Bruce was able to accomplish his goal, after years and years. Battle after battle. He told me numerous times that if he was white, he would not have had to face all of those battles. He was such a strong man, and nothing kept him from fighting. He was over-the-moon when he finally got the promotion of head writer. 

Soon after he won that battle, he was diagnosed with cancer. This devastated him, and I being his wife, was terrified. During those days he would only talk about one thing, and that was his love for his son. When Bruce got diagnosed the first thing he told me was to protect Cain with everything I had. He told me that protecting Cain was his true life’s aspiration. To this day I remember that conversation with Bruce like it was just yesterday. 

Bruce had lived with two desires, to be the first person of color writing for the Windenburg Paper, and to be the best dad. And in the end he accomplished both. So, I take that to you all! We all have something that we aspire to be, and things we want to do in our lives. But the one thing that we cannot and should not forget about is the children! 

We need change now! For us! For our children! People need to self educate themselves, they need to be able to listen to us and learn! We can teach our children and the people who act like children that what they say and do affect people in more ways than one. In person and online. We have to make our voices heard, and make it so people, everyone hears us, we are going to chant Black Lives Matter, until we make a difference. Black Lives Will always matter! Today, Tomorrow, a month from now, a year from now, and so on and so forth! Black Lives Matter!

I really want to say Thank You to @ebonixsims​ for coming up with this idea for the rally. I definitely wouldn’t have thought of doing a post like this. I’m glad to be apart of this. (Sorry that this was kind of wordy, I will post again with the screenshots, with less words.)

Being the obsessive list making little autistic I am, In June I had

made a list of the CC coming out for @ebonixsims‘ #BLMSIMSRALLY so it’d be easier for folks to go forth and DL lots of stuff to use for their rallies. But, I’m a visual person so I don’t like listing visual things in text, sooo I just moved everything over to pinterest.

You don’t need to wait for a group rally to make in game protests, or just add these clothes to your game. ;)

Today is another good day to set up more protests in your game. For Jacob. For Breonna. For way too many people. </3
