I just removed parasites (there were like, 10-20) from a bumblebee. It took two hours or so (my patient was not very cooperative) but it's finally done.

Now I just have to hope the little guy makes it through the night, and see if it is well enough to release...

more weevil !! the green one got to the end of my nail at one point and very sadly looked left and right for somewhere else to go. biggest steps of a bug i’ve ever seen i’ll have to draw how it looked
