昨日はヴォーグ学園でした。 生徒さんが黒1色で制作していたマフラーは柔らかくとっても素敵に仕上がりました！サイズも希望通り！ 同じ素材で色違いを作りたいという事で教室から徒歩1分のカナリヤさんへ。しかし、前回たて糸にしていた毛糸に希望の色が無く、さらによこ糸に使っていた毛糸が廃番で注文もできず、違う糸の組み合わせに変更しました。メリノウールとベビーアルパカの組み合わせです。杢グレーの優しい色と、ふっくらフワフワの糸で仕上がりが楽しみです。

教室では生徒さんの状況をみながら可能な限り買い物に同行しています。色の組み合わせもそうですが、素材の組み合わせ、糸の太さ、重さ、等。作りたいものに合わせて糸を選ぶのは難しく、ましてやお店にあるものの中で組み合わせを考えるのは本当に大変。織りの技術だけではなく、糸選びの勉強も必要だと考えています。
