Okay I just passed 100 followers so let's try to write a fanfiction together shall we? Honestly I've been thinking about this idea for a while now, and although there are several ways it might not work out, I really think it would be a fun little roleplay type of game we can do.

Using the idea of all the BG3 companions somehow being in our world (Like in my fanfic This Bites) the modern world, lets send our friends on a vacation to Disney World (because I have never been to a Disney Park 🥲) Rules are simple: Try to keep the story on track, tag any good fic writers you think would be interested in playing along, sexual innuendos and jokes are okay but try to keep anything added sfw okay guys?

The story begins with a road trip! The gang is all piled into a large mini van, Gale or perhaps Jaheira is the one who drives. Minsc or Wyll sits up front next to the driver while everyone else is crammed in the back. Tav (who is a gnome in this story because give me more gnome Tav rep damnit!) is squished between Astarion and Karlach who are both subtly competing for who gets to snuggle Tav. Lae'zel and Shadowheart are forced to sit next to one another as they growl and sneer at the other.

In an attempt to break up the tension Tav turns on a movie (yes it's one of those van's with a little TV that comes out of the ceiling.)

Oh and Durge is there too, he just happens to be asleep in the trunk. Don't ask how we fit a huge dragonborn in the trunk....

Looking for a long-term D&D/Baldur's Gate 3-esc roleplay threads that follow a campaign-like story structure, with multi-musing and plotting - taking our characters on a grand and bloody adventure that may lead to glory or gore (🕊 themes if wanted!). I'm hoping to find someone who's into worldbuilding and character development, I adore creating characters and making them fit within shared stories - most of my characters for this plot idea was developed following the Baldur's Gate 3 class/race options but knowledge of BG3 isn't essential as I'd love to develop a new world together! The sun had just begun to set, the skies colours only just beginning to change, though it would get dark fairly soon so the safest bet was to set camp now and continue on by morning.

Kaelen had helped gather wood to burn for the fire and once she figured they had enough to keep it going a while she sat by it, sitting in the opposite direction of any wind so she could avoid getting smoke in their eyes while enjoying the warmth and watching the flicker of the flames.

They found it oddly calming to just watch the flames burn away at the wood, cracking stick apart and bark off logs while it all turned to ash and charcoal. That and the light of the dancing flames was just a pretty sight.

Then, thinking the evening was getting too quiet with nothing but the crackling fire and soft chatter of a few companions, kaelen brought out her lyre for a soft melody. The sound of the strings' rhythm made for good background noise more than crickets randomly chirping at odd moments around the camp.

Of course if anyone had any requests, kaelen was always more than happy to hear them out. They not everyone enjoyed music all that much so they wouldn't be surprised if one of those requests was to stop playing all together.

At least it was the lyre and not the violin this evening. Lae'zel didn't seem all that fond of the noise it made when she was tuning it before.
