- one of the older girls decided not to be in the dance anymore and just lay down in the seats

- they didn’t think through the heights of the romanovs which made the family photo hard to stage

- spent the last three classes on. the. same. dance.

- I have to improv a solo dance smh

- also I’m literally a set piece in the beginning, like they have me on the dark stage before the show starts

- I HAVE TO IMPROVISE A POINTE SOLO

- the reactions from the younger actors to my shoes was hilarious

It’s my first time animating anything in Blender and working with armature and rigging. And what else to say other than that it was really challenging (but fun at the same time). I'm aware of some typology errors in the animation, but overall I believe I made a good job. I think it’s pretty cute how she dancer here little ballet dance.

Fun fact: going on pointe without proper training can severely fuck up your joints/ankles/legs/feet whatever

It annoys me when people don’t realize that

I had to get tell several kids not to try to go up on pointe otherwise they might hurt themselves

One girl tried to go up in literal crocs, one of the boys tried to go up in his sneakers when he saw me prepping

The look on his face was funny though when he realized that I wasn’t just standing in a corner holding part of the gate and waving my arms around, and that I was up on my toes lol
