I just finished both routes last night and its rare that a visual novel affects me like this.

Twofold is a sequel of sorts to First Snow (same location, some of the same characters appear, etc) and while I do recommend First Snow too, it's not necessary.

The main character Olive is nonbinary and they're incredibly nice and kind despite some pressing issues (like not flunking out of college)

The two romance paths are wonderful and you REALLY need to play through both to get the full impact of the story.

Oh and one of them, my favorite in fact, is voiced by none other than Jill Harris aka the English voice of Suletta Mercury from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury.

While romance is a sizable portion of the story, it's more complex than that. It's a story about friendship, loss, grief and new hope.

It's just so, so lovely.

The rest of my December 2022 haul finally arrived, after traveling the whole width of the USA, only to be returned once again to where it first landed. Exactly, where it was supposed to be delivered, like in the same exact state. *sigh* Anyway, this one was a royal pain in the back, but it’s finally here. The cost of S/H was absurd because I distrust DHL now. I had to go with EMS, which is so much slower, so much less dependable and oh so freaking expensive in comparison. However, at least I know they won’t turn over the package to the USPS for them to attempt returning it to Japan, because they are the ones handling the final freaking delivery. I know they’ll deliver the package to me. On the other hand, they are 30USD more expensive and slower than DHL, so yes, I am bitter. Not to mention they call this service express...>__>;;

I am super happy with all these, despite being a small haul and the higher than life cost of it shipping to me. I am glad I was able to get another 9S Nendo to unbox one. Also, the first ever Q Posket I ever saw was a Princess Serenity one, and I always wanted to get one of them. I don’t believe the one I saw was this version (couldn’t have due to timing), but I am happy with it nonetheless. I do hope to be able to get Endymion as well. I don’t need both versions; I’ll just settle for A ver. of each. I wasn’t planning on collecting Muzan as a female, but I kind of wanted my order to get charged before AA went on Holdiay break, but despite me adding in-stock items it didn’t happen... I do enjoy collecting prize figues based on Todoroki and hope one day I can justify a scale figure based on him. However, they always have extra-large bases, and the S/H alone discourages me from pulling the trigger. Of course, I am happy with the Sasuke acrylic stands, although I really wish I could stop hoarding those already. T__T;; The super cute Sumikko Gurashi stickers I just got because they seemed too cute to pass -- I’ve never collected anything based on them before, nor have I watched any of the animations. They are adorable, so it is hard to resists. I am hoping this won’t be yet another thing I hoard things off. DX

Hello! I wanted to ask if you remember that anime art of Aizou and Yuujirou in yukatas, the one where the patterns on their traditional clothes apparently complimented the patterns on the other's? For the life of me I can't remember what those patterns were or where to find the pictures in question, could you help me with either?

Good news, folks. Two big things happened this last weekend. One, NASA proved that ghosts are real. Yeah, I don't know how it happened either, I bet they pointed one of their big satellites toward Earth instead of away from it and then whoop, ghosts. Two is that we figured out how to charge the ghosts rent. The economy's fixed!

That science is new, so new that the USDA won't let you eat it without cooking it to a safe internal temperature. We're still operating under a lot of theories about ghosts, and the prevailing one is that ghosts are people who have died but cannot leave this plane of existence until they resolve their unfinished business. And until they do that, every chain-rattle, spooky door-opening, and creaking noise your house makes is deliciously billable. It turns out that you were a landlord this entire time, just not a very business-savvy one.

Sure, there are already a lot of people crying it's "unethical" to force these ghosts, who cannot leave under any means whatsoever, to pay up. Most of them don't even have any money, ethereal or otherwise, except for the small amounts they scraped together to pay Charon "just in case." Thing is: either they pay the money, or They'll expect us to. And I have already spent all of my ghost bucks on a junkyard V8, which is the least I could do to take my mind off of a shrieking lady with no face constantly bothering me about where her family is.

When I finally pass on, probably in some kind of exploding-bellhousing accident, I'm sure that this won't come back to bite me in any way. Roaming the earth until I actually finish a project is basically how I spend my Saturdays already.
