Prompt 283
Now Jason would like it known that there was no mpreg situation going on. He isn’t even sure where people got that idea in the first place. Sure, he had taken a few Cores from the goons-in-white who had dared to set up in his turf.
And sure maybe the excess energy from the pit (no wonder he’d been so irritable) was what said baby halfas (Okay, so they’re half human? Alright) had used to reform. And maybe the oldest is visibly less than a year old.
But there Was No Mpreg Situation! He is this close to shooting someone! It was annoying (and slightly amusing) when it was just his goons, but now the Bats have seemingly got it in their heads! Dear Gotham it’s a good thing he’s not planning on like, ever revealing who he is because he would never be able to live this rumor down.
[Winged Ghosts Au too, that seems to be getting lost in reblogs when it's just in the tags lol]

HUMAN ALASTOR was definitely the type of guy to have eye bags. he was always clean cut - looking, but there was always something off about his appearance, something that said he wasn't particularly normal. he could keep a clean appearance, but he couldn't hide that his lifestyle was unhealthy. he was spending late nights burying bodies in the swamps of new orleans. there was proof in his appearance that he wasn't getting the best sleep of his life. in the mornings, he would wake up early to do his radio show. his sleep schedule was quite the mess, proving his unhealthy lifestyle. you can dress up a man to look the part, but there is still giveaways that show he lives a strange life.

oh sweet sweet Green Lament AU, good to see it back uwu
gotta ask, how did Martin react after the first night with his brother back? Waking up and finding out that, for the first time in who knows how long, the other bed is not empty :3c
Ooo, the first morning's pretty emotional for him I'd imagine! 👀
It takes them a while to get settled in, first of all, since 'Chris' doesn't need to sleep, so the night before he's just—
"I don't need the bed, Martin, I'm not—"
"You're not staying up, that's what haha!! Just lay down and close your eyes, Chris, you'll be asleep in no time :)))"
So 'Chris' does, if only because Martin commanded him to, so he literally just lies there with his eyes closed all night until he hears Martin begin to stir.
And oh man, when Martin wakes up that morning... In typical angst fashion he either thought everything was a dream or he'd forgotten what he'd done the previous night, so when he sets eyes on the other bed only to see his little brother actually looking back at him, there's a moment where Martin freezes bc he has to process everything before he's suddenly lurching up to pull Chris into a hug because "you're actually here..." :')
So in other words, delusional man's gonna delusion <3

okay wait, because i can never edit tags on poll posts and the notes on that one are like genuinely catching me off guard: do americans for real not use duvet covers? like as a rule? across the entire country? like you’re all just using random blankets or quilts and shit all the time? and then sticking a sheet between you and the blanket pile? or is this one of those “depends on where you are but obviously each regional standard is considered universal by its adherents” situations?
