Time is a huge cause of our everyday stress. It's always either passing too slowly or too quickly.
In an attempt to make watching the time feel different, Bina Baitel Studio has created the Lash Clock. So named because it looks like a ring of eyelashes, the clock does actually tell time. Gaps in the fringe of hair denote the hour and the minute, and the gaps move ever so slightly as time passes.
According Bina Baitel Studio's website, the Lash Clock "ignores the stressful codes we are used to when facing the passing of time." The website also features the clock with both black and blonde hairs.
While this is kind of cool as an art concept, we also cannot ignore the fact that this is also rather creepy. It just feels wrong to tell time by watching hairs move. It also feels wrong to hang a circle of hair up on a wall. But we'll let you decide.
