Annnd... I inadvertently made a dick joke at work, Infront of a donor.

He had really good veins. Left arm was nice. Right arm, was what my trainer said was a "gold mine".

I swear that was the biggest vein I ever felt. I swear it was as big as two of my fingers put together.

I looked at her and my face "the fuck?" She felt it, and showed me. I blurted out "That's a vein? That's massive!! I've never felt one that big!!!"

The donor without missing a beat said "Thank you!"

I immediately said "No. no! That's not what I meant!"

My trainer and the donor lost it. Laughing. And I got so red, and I couldn't poke him. I couldn't stop giggling, and started crying. I said "I need a minute." I pulled off my gloves with a snap.

The donor said "Oooh, she's done this before." In a seductive tone. I stomped my foot I was so giggly.

I walked over to the gaggle of other coworkers, and they were just like "Are you okay? I've never seen you so red before!" I told them, and they started cackling, so hard. Then my friend started giggling and she sound likes a mixture of the girl from the grudge and a seal. We all lost it. We finally got another donor in, she was 24, and I was still bright red and I got her checked in. And took her for her physical.

I told her the scenario, and she and I giggled hysterically.

Big differences between all the other workplaces I have been at, and this one. I have never gotten into such a giggle fit at work. All my other jobs, it was the try to laugh or you're gonna cry.

I couldn't poke anyone else the entire day. We had a rush of donors come in, and my coworkers, kept cracking jokes at me. They'd be feeling for a vein, and say "Hey, come here and feel this biggun!" We'd all lose it.

I kept getting bright red, the donors had a good day too. They kept laughing at how red I'd get.

It was great.
