and then dude has never felt any positive emotion from anyone so naturally lashes out against the world it winds up in when they lash out at it in fear (again ppl react in fear)

forgor what the art book said but it was like it never felt love from others and from having a heart itself so like he was jealous of the toons for knowing what love felt like and that! fucks me up supremely

My “Epic” contribution to the Epic Mickey Community

Couldn’t help but draw my favorite blotling from Epic mickey, The Slobber. I just think they’re neat.

The first time I drew and posted the mascots of the italian park Gardaland, it means so much to me!

Did you know that Spyro the dragon may have been inspired by one with same colors named Figment, which is a disney mascot?

So since I knew that also Presley, the dragon mascot of the other park had a prior design I decided to draw him doing same things as Mickey mouse.

Sometimes I think abt how mickey just doesnt get out at the end of epic mickey 2 like he just fr stayed there they never even mention possibility of getting out, and since theres no continuation I still just hc that he's been chilling there for the last decade and 3 years

Like he just lives there now, since he has the brush he probably helps around and works with it or he put it away and helps around the shops or with the blotlings

Random thought. I'm sure most are aware of how much of a softy Mick is portrayed in recent shorts or really anything nowadays. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Heck, in comics he sure can be his feral self.

My point is. What if during Epic Mickey or some back stage thing, Ozzy finds Mick pretty beat up and is just questioning it. Of course, he tends to the mouse. Whether out of genuine care or someone like Gus implores him to. As he treats Mick, he must be confused cuz he thought Mick was way more than capable of defending himself. He's seen his films, the mouse can fight. Heck, he once had his own Gym in his backyard. Oz has even felt and seen the mouse's strength. For a replacement, how is he not a decent fighter? Cue Oswald finding out that Mick has been heavily out of practice and isn't really allowed to fight as it sets a bad example for others. Oswald is just dumbfounded at this. Sure violence isn't the answer, but it sure as heck is an option.

What I am getting at is. After learning this, Oswald offers to train Mick. Get him sharpened up. Ozzy's been fighting Blotlings for a few decades, so he definitely has some tactics. Also, somewhat turns into like a coaching therapy cuz Mick shouldn't have to walk on glass. Other toons also pitch in, even Pete to the surprise of many.

I love this AU of hers and I've been wanting to do fanart of it for a while. SO I decided to do this, where Oswald brutally murders a giant Blotling with the Brush using Thinner because it took Mickey's heart, which sent the lucky rabbit into a murderous rage, unknowingly causing him to channel the power of Thinner as he prepares to deal the final blow, as seen with the first panel.

The second panel here is him realizing what he has done. Sure, he got back Mickey's heart, but he had to kill to do so, which had brought agony-fueled pain and regret to the already traumatized rabbit.

You don’t know how hyped i am for epic mickey rebrushed. It took awhile but we’re finally getting a remaster of a hidden gem.

For those of you who wanted my epic Mickey rambles

this started out about 3-2 years ago as sketches and drawings of characters I thought that deserved to be in wasteland. I have acquired a whole bunch of characters since then, couple of which derive from concepts and have personalized designs. I had also wrote what would essentially be my personal take on an epic Mickey three, seeing as how I thought the franchise was dead and I wanted to expand it on my own. I thought it would be fun to share this little story seeing as how there’s a small resurgence and I was probably going to do it anyway because I really like these characters of mine. But to do that your going to need a lot of context so here we go-

Yensid created wasteland as a place for forgotten creations under the Disney property to stay and live. When the thinner disaster happened that plan was ruined, thusly wasteland itself was left in shambles and could no longer do what it was made for

But what does this mean/do?

Well

And wasteland stayed in that broken state, left to rot, up until the first game, where an outside force (Mickey, it’s Mickey) screws around with it again. Wasteland starts to heal, at this scene and time right here

Nothing happens right away, or at least to the characters’ knowledge, and Epic Mickey 2 happens.

Then 11 years pass. Mickey during this time has become distant, and Oswald has been living with his family to the fullest and rebuilding, even beginning deconstruction on Mickeyjunk mountain. Nothing much has changed, or at least it hasn’t up until a year ago, when blotlings reappeared (I have a reason I swear-). Not only that.

New faces have been popping up, without anywhere to live, and in droves.

The Thinner ocean is slowly becoming decontaminated. And without much of a warning.

Wonderland rises up from the thinner.
