New graphics, who 'dis? - Goblin edition
Last installment with all my Goblin kids, they are the nest batch in my altaholic addiction and overall the new graphics are I think going to treat them well. I've also found after talking to several friends that the 'crystal' default setting in the creator isn't kind to ANYONE.
New on the left, old on the right.
L'devah Fhey - looks the same, if only a bit older.
Tumblr media
Troy Maerten - I LOVE IT. He actually looks more like the half elezen that he's supposed to be.
Tumblr media
Duq Tribeless - All my dark skinned kids are looking SO MUCH BETTER.
Tumblr media
Edelweiss Journey - She looks good, the same. Won't really need any changes.
Tumblr media
Clematis Journey - Edel's sibling. I've never gotten him to look the way I want him to, until now. He might need some tweaking just to see what the options look like but otherwise yaaay.
Tumblr media
Blu Dalmasca - I think the crystal lighting just isn't nice to him here. I'll have to see if he needs any changes under different lighting.
Tumblr media
Garaav Nioremont - Overall I like it. some small changes might be needed but it will take getting him into the actual game to see.
Tumblr media
Blilly Lee Black - He's one I could never get to look right, but also the only character not a complete OC. Difficult with someone based on a character from another game, but I think he might actually finally look the way I want him to be with the new graphics. Also even as accurate as this hair is.... I think it needs to change, all I can think of when I see it is fucking Asahi...

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Dare 2 Defy Event Part 4
The second Dare to Defy event, Dare 2 Defy, just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This is a global original event that features 7 Shinryu (level 300) quests.
Tumblr media
Table of Contents
Introduction
Dare 2 Defy IV Shinryu Quest Take 1
Dare 2 Defy IV Shinryu Quest Take 2
Conclusion
Introduction
If you use a char on 1 Dare 2 Defy quest, then you can’t use them anymore on the other fights in this event.
You can’t bring a friend support to these fights. Each quest needs to be Perfected (meaning get the score and all the other mission requirements on the same run) in order to get all the rewards.
Tumblr media
The bosses featured on these quests are the same as the ones that have recently shown up in the game.
Dare 2 Defy IV Shinryu Quest Take 1
Also known as Dare 2 Defy IV. This fight has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Abyssal Anzu <Spiritual>. This quest is the same as the World of Illusions Spiritus: Ramuh Spiritus one.
For this fight, my team was Machina Kunagiri from Final Fantasy Type-0, Gladiolus Amicitia from Final Fantasy XV (#ad), and Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII with The Brothers as my summon.
Tumblr media
My Calls were The Warrior of Light’s from Final Fantasy I, Lenna Charlotte Tycoon’s from Final Fantasy V, and Paladin Cecil Harvey’s from Final Fantasy IV. All the Calls I brought offer the party protection and/or healing.
Have Gladiolus’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. His Ex weapon has been Purpled. Gladio doesn’t have his own Force and Burst weapons yet.
Gladiolus has his High Armor, and it’s been Blued. He has his Bloom Stone as well as triple perfect Artifacts and triple RF Spheres.
All of his Summon Boards, Force Enhancements, and Character Enhancement Boards have been completed.
Gladiolus is a cover tank. He takes the place of his allies every time they’re attacked. He will then counter and deal damage to the enemy after taking 0 or little damage from the attack.
Gladiolus is currently equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Greatsword Ultima Weapon while Machina has my Level 4 of 5 Short Sword Ultima Weapon.
My Ashe has her 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and FR fully MLB. Missing her BT. She has her High Armor, and it’s been Realized to 0/3.
Ashe has her Bloom Stone. She has triple perfect Artifacts and triple RF Spheres. All of her Summon Boards and Character Enhancement Boards have been completed but she’s missing her Force Enhancements.
Ashe is a support slash buffer slash healer. She can also enchant the party and imperil enemies with the holy and lightning elements. She can paralyze all enemies with her Ex ability.
My Machina has his 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, FR, and BT fully MLB. His Ex has been Purpled. His Burst has been Greened. He has his High Armor, and it’s been Blued.
Machina has his Bloom Stone. He has triple perfect Artifacts and triple real Spheres.
All of his Summon Boards, Character Enhancement Boards, and Force Enhancements have been completed.
Machina is a really good physical DPS who can work in both rushdown and counter or off-turn comps. That’s because he can counter and deal off-turn damage.
The enemies here are highly resistant to all elements except for holy and lightning. They resist non-elemental attacks too.
The enemies have different stances. In phase 1 of the fight, they will be in a stance where they can’t be broken and where their turns can’t be deleted or delayed.
Ashe’s damage was meh. She can’t even battery the party. But her enchant and imperil helped to increase Machina’s and Gladio’s damage output. Her paralysis came in handy too.
Since Ashe is boosted for this fight, was able to start this quest with my force gauge already at 10%. It still took a while before my force gauge was fully charged to 100% though since Ashe has 0 Force Enhancements and I don’t have a force gauge charger.
Once my force gauge was fully charged to 100%, had Machina activate his FR. Prior to that, had him use his BT+ finisher.
Machina’s FR has instant turn rate, so right after activating it, he got to move again. Went straight into his Burst+ phase. Have 10 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 123%. The enemies were down to 87% HP.
One of the effects of Machina’s BT+ is that it will transform his HP attack into this move called Furious Blades (Burst). This deals a lot of damage so just had Machina keep on spamming this move during his Burst+ mode.
By the time Machina was about to cast Illuminating the Future, his finishing Burst+ move, have 4 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 621%. The enemies were down to 71% and 70% HP.
Tumblr media
Soon after the end of Machina’s Burst+ phase, the enemies switched to a different stance. In this stance, they’re no longer immune to breaks and delays.
By the time I only have 1 turn of force time left, the HP damage bonus was at 744%. The enemies were down to 58% and 57% HP.
Summoned The Brothers already. The on-entry attack of The Brothers took the enemies down to 49% and 48% HP.
Tumblr media
Now was back to waiting for my force gauge to charge back up to 100% again. Before that happened, the force gauge of the enemies hit 100% and they got to use their force attack and go into their force time. Was able to survive their attacks thanks to Gladio’s protection and defenses.
By the time my force gauge was back to 100% again, the enemies were down to 46% and 43% HP.
Managed to get the HP damage bonus up to 654% before my force time ended. By then the enemies were down to 12% and 13% HP.
Tumblr media
It was Machina’s turn. His attack plus the counters from him and Gladiolus (since both enemies got to move after him) took the enemies down to 10% and 9% HP.
Then it was Ashe’s turn. Had her focus on the enemy with 10% HP. That enemy got to move right after Ashe. Gladio’s and Machina’s counters took this enemy down to 9% HP too.
Tumblr media
As soon as both enemies were at 9% HP, the last phase of the fight began. The Abyssal Anzus automatically had their force gauge filled to the max. Their force time now lasts for 20 turns.
They restored their HP back to around 49%. One of them went back to the stance where they can’t be broken and delayed.
Once the force time of the enemies ends, they will automatically reduce their HP to 0 and you will automatically win the fight.
Unfortunately, Machina ended up dying to one of the attacks of the enemies. They got to move back-to-back so I didn’t get the chance to heal my chars and make use of the defensive Calls that I brought for this part of the fight.
Tumblr media
Dare 2 Defy IV Shinryu Quest Take 2
Instead of going back in with the same team, decided to just drop Machina and bring in Cor Leonis from Final Fantasy XV instead. Still brought the same summon and Calls though.
Tumblr media
My Cor is as fully built as my Gladiolus except he also has his own Force weapon and it’s been fully MLB as well. Cor is equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Special or Unique-type Ultima Weapon.
Cor is a support slash DPS. He can deal pretty good damage while also providing pretty good party-wide buffs and auras.
Cor’s main gimmick is being able to link himself to an ally. Right before that ally moves, Cor will attack and deal damage. He will also attack and deal damage before an enemy moves. Cor will also prevent the ally he’s linked to from being broken.
Once my force gauge was fully charged, had Cor activate his FR. By then the enemies were at around 82% HP.
I wanted the enemies to get lots of turns to keep on increasing the HP damage bonus of Cor’s FR as well as get Cor and Gladiolus to keep on dealing off-turn damage.
Ideally, my chars should get as few turns as possible during my force time so I’ll be able to get said force time to last as long as possible.
Plus, the more the enemies move, the more my HP damage bonus will increase and the more Gladiolus and Cor will be able to deal off-turn damage.
Anyway, by the time I only have 1 turn of force time left, the enemies were down to 47% HP. The HP damage bonus was at 527%.
Tumblr media
When my force gauge charged back to 100% again, the enemies were down to 34% and 35% HP.
By the time I only have 1 turn of force time left, the HP damage bonus was at 557%. The enemies were already down to 9% HP so didn’t bother summoning The Brothers anymore.
Tumblr media
Made sure to use my Calls although not all at once. Then it was just a matter of hoping that my chars will be able to survive all the attacks of the enemies.
Tumblr media
Managed to get my chars back to full health before the force time of the enemies ended.
Thanks to the Calls I’d brought, my chars ended up with over their max HP so the last few attacks of the enemies weren’t able to get them down to their normal health.
Tumblr media
After the force time of the enemies ended, the message, “Eased off the offensive...” showed up on the screen.
Tumblr media
This was soon followed by the message, “Well done. Your reward.” Then the enemies automatically reduced their HP to 1% and the battle promptly ended.
Tumblr media
The fight ended on turn 50. Got the score and all the other mission requirements which also got me the Perfect.
Tumblr media
This team did really well. Don’t mind keeping Ashe locked here but I hope that I won’t need either Cor or Gladiolus for another Dare 2 Defy fight.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
So, what about you? Which chars did you use to complete these Shinryu quests? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Crevasse Grace Descending Event Part 1
The Crevasse: Grace Descending event just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This event includes several quests.
Tumblr media
Table of Contents
Crevasse: Grace Descending Event Information
Crevasse: Grace Descending Part 4 Shinryu Quest
Conclusion
Crevasse: Grace Descending Event Information
Crevasse: Grace Descending is a type of event wherein players get the chance to build their own fight. Well, sort of.
We get a short list of Codes, Lufenia orbs (or special countdown cards), and Force gauge effects (or force weakness cards) as well as a few quests with set enemies. We can then choose which Codes and such should go on which quests.
Codes refer to rules like “use at least 1 Green Crystal char on this fight” or “bring a char who uses a greatsword on this fight”. The Codes, orbs, and force effects have points associated with them. These points vary depending on how hard it is to fulfill their conditions.
Tumblr media
Each quest has a multiplier that’s based on how difficult it is. After doing a quest with the Codes you specified, you get some points.
You need a total of 525 points in order to get all the rewards from this event. You also can’t bring a friend support to any of these quests.
I found this event pretty interesting. It was pretty fun being able to decide what Codes should go with which quest.
Your chars get locked out every time you Perfect a quest so this gave me the chance to use chars that I haven’t used in a while. I do wish we got more Codes to choose from though.
Anyway, the Crevasse: Grace Descending event has a total of 6 quests. They are as follows:
Crevasse: Grace Descending Part 1 Lufenia+ (level 250) quest
Crevasse: Grace Descending Part 2 Lufenia+ quest
Crevasse: Grace Descending Part 3 Lufenia+ quest
Crevasse: Grace Descending Part 4 Shinryu (level 300) quest
Crevasse: Grace Descending Part 5 Shinryu quest
Crevasse: Grace Descending Part 6 Shinryu quest
Crevasse: Grace Descending Part 4 Shinryu Quest
Also known as Crevasse: Grace Descending Pt. 4. This fight has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Terror Armor.
Initially, my team for this fight was Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII (#ad), Jack Garland from Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, and Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII with The Brothers as my summon. Wasn’t sure if this team would work but wanted to give it a try.
Tumblr media
My Sephiroth has his 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and BT fully MLB. His Ex has been Purpled. His Burst has been Greened. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have his own Force weapon yet.
Tumblr media
Sephiroth has his High Armor, and it’s been Blued. He has his Bloom Stone. He has triple perfect Artifacts and triple real Spheres. All of his Summon Boards, Character Enhancement Boards, and Force Enhancements have been completed.
Sephiroth is a physical, non-elemental DPS. He can inflict enemies with a gold-framed debuff called Cellular Erosion. This debuff “increases BRV damage taken; effects certain amount of BRV damage”. Seph also lowers the speed of the enemies via an aura.
Sephiroth is a pretty good damage dealer but since he doesn’t even have his own FR yet and since it’s been a while since he last got a rework, he’s kinda outdated by now. He can still be made to work in a Shinryu quest, but it’s definitely better to just bring someone else instead of him.
I talk more about this in other posts, but it’s been like a personal challenge of sorts to try and run Sephiroth through all the Shinryu quests we’ve had so far.
Thankfully, so far, I have been able to successfully use him for all these quests. So I don’t want to stop now. Want to be able to bring Sephiroth to at least 1 Crevasse Shinryu quest.
And that’s why Sephi is here even though using a Green Crystal char for any of these Crevasse quests doesn’t give a lot of points.
My Jack Garland is as fully built as my Sephiroth except he actually has his own Force weapon and said FR has been fully MLB’d. Jack’s gonna be my main DPS so he’s currently equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Greatsword Ultima Weapon.
My Ashe has her 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. She doesn’t have a Force or Burst weapon yet but both are coming really soon.
Ashe has her Bloom Stone. She has triple perfect Artifacts and triple RF Spheres. She has her High Armor and it’s been Realized to 0/3.
All of her Summon Boards and Character Enhancement Boards have been completed but I didn’t get any of her Force Enhancements.
Ashe is a support but she’s really outdated by now. The only reason why I brought her to this fight was because doing so would give me more points.
Don’t have a force gauge charger and my Ashe doesn’t even have any of her Force Enhancements so it took a long time before my force gauge was fully charged.
Ashe’s damage output was terrible. Her buffs and auras seemed really weak too. She can’t even battery the party. She can paralyze enemies with her Ex ability but it’s useless for this fight because the bosses here are immune to the paralyze debuff.
The bosses here are really annoying. They can debuff their opponents while also buffing themselves. This debuff includes HP poison which takes off a huge chunk of HP from my chars every time they move.
The first time I tried this fight, my party ended up dying to the force attack of the enemies. Not exactly surprising since my chars didn’t have any protection or defenses in place when that happened.
So the next time I tried this fight with the same team, made sure to use Rydia’s (from Final Fantasy IV) LD Call before the force gauge of the enemies could hit 100%.
I brought this Call on my first run too. Just didn’t get the chance to use it before the enemies used their force attack.
Rydia’s LD Call gives the party a buff that enables them to evade 3 attacks. This buff has no turn duration and will only disappear once a char has evaded 3 attacks.
Thanks to Rydia’s LD Call, all my chars were able to avoid the force attack of the enemies.
When my force gauge finally got charged, used Jack’s FR and BT+ finisher. Also used Sephiroth’s BT+ finisher. Applied the rest of my Calls and had my chars use their Additional Abilities too.
When I went into Jack’s Burst+ mode, the enemies were only down to 88% and 90% HP. Have 7 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 236%.
Jack was able to increase the HP damage bonus of his FR by 73% every time he moved. Had him use Cid Raines’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) LD Call before going into his BT+ phase. This allowed him to initiate launches every time he attacked.
The other Call I brought was Keiss’s (from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers). Keiss’s LD Call inflicts enemies with a debuff that will battery the party based on damage dealt during launches.
So thanks to Keiss, Sephiroth and Ashe always had brave to dump whenever Jack initiated a launch.
By the time Jack was about to cast Soul of Chaos, his finishing Burst+ move, the bosses were down to 39% and 44% HP. Have 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 694%.
Tumblr media
Thanks to the HP poison debuff that was currently active on Jack, his HP was now down to 1. Ugh. Maybe I should have brought a healing Call too. Ashe has HP Regen but I don’t think that’s gonna be enough.
Jack’s BT+ finisher brought the enemies down to 31% and 36% HP. Now was back to waiting for my force gauge to charge to 100% again.
That really took a while though. In the meanwhile, the force gauge of the enemies was also charging.
By turn 27, the enemies were down to 23% and 26% HP. Their force gauge was at 91.1% while mine was only at 83.2%.
Tumblr media
Jack was still at 1 HP since he still has the HP poison debuff. Ashe was at 1 HP earlier too but the HP poison debuff jut ran out on her so she was slowly recovering her health via her HP Regen. Sephiroth was currently at full HP.
I’d already used up my summon earlier. Already used up all my Calls too. In short, there was no way my chars would be able to survive the force attack of the enemies.
So it’s back to the drawing board. Too bad this team is a no-go. Gonna have to drop Ashe because she’s just so bad right now. I don’t think getting her Force Enhancements is gonna make much of a difference.
If I’d been able to get this team to work, would have been able to get 45 points which will then get multiplied by x2.5.
For my next try, went in with a team of Sephiroth, Jack Garland, and Auron from Final Fantasy X with The Brothers as my summon. My Calls were Cid Raines’s, Keiss’s, and Yuna’s from Final Fantasy X.
Tumblr media
Have Auron’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. His Ex has been Purpled. He has his High Armor, and it’s been Realized to 0/3.
Auron has his Bloom Stone. He has triple perfect Artifacts and triple RF Spheres. All of his Summon Boards and Character Enhancement Boards have been completed but he doesn’t have any of his Force Enhancements.
Auron is a counter tank. He takes the place of his allies whenever they’re attacked and he counters and deals damage every time he’s hit.
He can also debuff enemies. This includes melee resistance down which will greatly benefit this party since they all deal physical or melee damage.
Yuna’s Calls provide party-wide esuna. They also have some other effects that benefit the party but the main reason why I brought her Call was for the esuna effect it provides.
The Codes I used for this quest were as follows:
Bring at least 1 Blue Crystal char - Jack fulfills this condition
Bring at least 1 Green Crystal char - Sephiroth fulfills this condition
Bring at least 1 Black Crystal char - Auron fulfills this condition
Bring at least 3 chars who use greatswords - Jack, Sephiroth, and Auron fulfills this condition
Force Weakness - entering force time while dealing ranged BRV damage with force ability with instant turn rate cancels enemy’s force time
Additional Force Gauge Effects - Triggered at 60% and above: reduces HP damage taken other than from player party force abilities by 100%
No one in this party fulfills the aforementioned Force Weakness but I still went with this one since I want to use the other Force Weaknesses for the other fights.
The total points this party will give me is 44 x2.5.
Anyway, once again, had to wait a while before my force gauge was fully charged. Auron kept my party safe while also dealing off-turn damage.
The HP poison debuff of the enemies really sucks. Auron does provide a bit of HP Regen but once again, I found myself wishing I brought a healing Call or 2.
The force gauge of the enemies hit 100% first. Thanks to the HP poison debuff, Auron’s HP was down to the red so I was really worried that he’d end up dying to the force attack of the enemies.
Tumblr media
Thankfully, that didn’t happen. His HP just went down even more but at least he didn’t die. However, with the enemies set to move again before Auron, I was worried that he might end up dying anyway.
Also, thanks to the Additional Force Gauge Effects Code that I brought to this fight, the damage dealt by my chars went down the moment the force gauge of the enemies hit 60%.
Jack was still able to deal damage since he has an Ultima Weapon but there were times wherein Sephiroth and Auron were dealing 0 damage which really sucks.
When my force gauge was finally fully charged, had Sephiroth activate his BT+ finisher already. Sadly, this dealt 0 damage since the force time of the enemies was still up.
Also had Sephiroth use Yuna’s regular Call to remove the HP poison debuff from the party.
Was waiting for the force time of the enemies to end before activating Jack’s FR. Unfortunately, before that happened, Auron ended up being killed by one of the enemies. Argh! How frustrating. Now I have to try this again.
Tumblr media
This time, I dropped Auron and replaced him with Galuf Halm Baldesion from Final Fantasy V.
My Galuf is as fully built as my Sephiroth and Jack except he doesn’t have his own Force and Burst weapons yet.
Galuf is an evasion and counter tank. Like Auron, he will take the place of his allies whenever they’re attacked. But unlike him, he has an evasion buff. Most attacks will miss him. He will counter twice if an attack misses him but he’ll only counter once if an attack hits him.
Galuf also has a buff that makes him near invincible. As long as this buff is up, even if his HP drops to 0, he won’t die.
Galuf is a Green Crystal char like Sephiroth so I just changed my Codes for this fight to bring 2 Green Crystal chars. The rest are the same. Also, for now, still went with the same Calls.
Tumblr media
Wow! What a difference bringing Galuf to this fight makes. So far, he’s been able to evade everything, including the HP poison debuff. Hell, yes!
Should have brought Galuf from the start, especially since mine was fully built, but the reason why I didn’t was because his Crystal color is Green. As mentioned, the Green Crystal Code doesn’t give as many points as the other Codes.
This team will only give me 43 points x2.5. So gonna need to make sure I can get more points from the other Crevasse fights.
Anyway, my chars were able to survive the force attack and force time of the enemies. Hell, yes! The bad news was that Sephiroth and Jack weren’t able to avoid the HP poison debuff. At least I brought Yuna’s Call.
Once the force time of the enemies ended, started making preparations to use Jack’s FR.
Had Sephiroth use his Additional Ability, Keiss’s LD Call, and his Burst+ finisher, Heaven’s Light. Had Jack use his Additional Ability, Burst+ finisher and Force ability. Had Galuf use his Additional Ability and reapplied his buffs.
Had to wait for it to be Jack’s turn again before being able to go into his Burst+ mode already. Before that, made sure to have him use Raines’s LD Call first.
When I went into Jack’s BT+ phase, the enemies were down to 87% and 88% HP. Have 7 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 242%.
Tumblr media
By the time Jack was about to cast Soul of Chaos, his finishing Burst+ move, the bosses were down to 43% and 42% HP. Have 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 695%.
Tumblr media
Was annoyed and also surprised when the enemies inflicted their HP poison debuff and Galuf wasn’t able to evade it. Of course, Sephiroth and Jack were hit too although there were times when the debuff also missed them.
At the end of Jack’s Burst+ mode, the enemies were now down to 35% and 34% HP.
Had Galuf use Yuna’s regular Call to remove the debuff from my party. Then it was just a matter of waiting for my force gauge to charge back to 100% again.
Before that, the force gauge of the enemies hit 100% again. Once again, they hit Jack and Sephiroth with the HP poison debuff. Ugh. Really hate that freaking debuff. Maybe I shouldn’t have used Yuna’s regular Call yet.
At one point, Jack’s and Sephiroth’s HP actually went down to 1 thanks to that blasted debuff. Had to use Yuna’s LD Call already to get rid of the HP poison debuff so my chars can get back some HP.
Tumblr media
When my force gauge was finally fully charged again, had Jack use his FR again.
Soon, the enemies were down to 21% and 23% HP. Have 4 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 401%.
It was Jack’s turn. Had him summon The Brothers already. The on-entry attack of The Brothers took the bosses down to 15% and 17% HP.
Tumblr media
But this also prompted them to debuff my chars again. Argh! Eff this blasted debuff. Don’t have any more Calls to remove this thing. Damn it.
Galuf has 5 turns of the debuff, Sephi has 1, and Jack has 3. For now, just focused on attacking the enemies since my force time was still up.
Soon, only have 1 turn of force time left. The HP damage bonus was at 625%. Have 3 more turns of the summon left.
It was Sephiroth’s turn. The HP poison debuff wasn’t on him anymore so he was starting to regen his HP but it was still down to the red.
Tumblr media
The enemies were down to 6% and 4% HP. Had Sephiroth target the enemy with 6% HP. He was able to initiate a launch with his attack. That finished off the enemy with 6% HP. The other one was left with 2% HP.
Tumblr media
Now I was worried that this enemy would die before I had the chance to heal my chars a bit.
It was Jack’s turn. IIRC, I had him use up his Additional Ability before attacking. This finally got rid of the debuff on him. His attack brought the last boss down to 1% HP.
On Galuf’s turn, just had him use his move that doesn’t deal damage but just buffs and batteries the party.
On Sephiroth’s turn, had him use all of his Additional Abilities to regen more of his HP. He was nearing full HP again while Jack was at around half or thereabouts. Galuf was at 1 HP and he still has 3 turns left of that blasted debuff.
Tumblr media
One of the mission requirements for this fight was to take 15k or less HP damage. When I checked, my chars had lost around 14k+ HP so I had Sephiroth use his Ex ability, Black Materia.
This didn’t finish off the boss yet so Jack got a turn. This enabled me to regen a bit more of Jack’s HP. Jack’s attack finished off the last boss, ending the battle on turn 40.
Tumblr media
Got the score and all the other mission requirements, which also got me the Perfect. My HP loss was 8534.
Tumblr media
Really glad that I was finally able to get the win with this party. Yay for once again being able to use Sephiroth in a Shinryu quest.
Tumblr media
This fight was really annoying though. Eff that freaking HP poison debuff. Galuf did really well in keeping the party safe. Jack was awesome as my main DPS. And at least Sephiroth got to help, even if it wasn’t by that much at all.
Tumblr media
Ended up with a total of 108 points. Hopefully, I won’t have to repeat this fight again.

FFXIVWrite2021 - Prompt 5 - Free Day - Solus
Tumblr media
There were very few times in his life so far that he hadn’t been alone. Yes, there were always people around, but very few had ever taken the time to know  him. Blu remembered wandering into the dry, dusty, city as a small child, bedraggled, bruised, and filthy, but none had taken him in, none had offered any help. There were people that whispered about him, he could hear them even if they didn’t seem to realize that he could hear better than any of them with his tall ears.
Those ears really were what got him through. They allowed him to hear better when someone was looking away, who was watching, he could hear when they were going to turn, the minute changes of fabric rustling that he could snatch an apple, a shirt, a roll, whatever he needed. It’s what helped him find other children like himself.
There was a gang of them that had made a home for themselves in Lowtown. They avoided him for the most part, he was too different and nothing like anyone they had seen before. Still, he heard their plans and helped them, hoping that they would include him, talk to him, something.  And some did, They would take to the small blue, Viera child, treating them almost like a pet. Blu hadn’t minded much at that point. He liked being included even if he wasn’t treated the same as all the others. They started calling him Blu, which was the first time he had something that was ‘his’.
He couldn’t remember when he first started noticing the soldiers. Strange men and women in their dark red and black armor. There were only a few at first, along with rumors of visiting dignitaries and ambassadors but as time went on there were more and more. The city was filled with them, and the people of Dalmasca were told they were now all part of the great Garlean Empire.
They killed anyone who tried to resist them, right there in the street. Any who displease them. Those men who didn’t resist they took. Most of those that Blu had come to call friends ended up killed or taken and he didn’t want to be alone again.
Still, Blu and the friends that remained knew of  places in Lowtown the Garleans didn’t know. Endless mazes of waterways, places people could hide, plot, come together and resist.
