New graphics, who 'dis? - Goblin edition

Last installment with all my Goblin kids, they are the nest batch in my altaholic addiction and overall the new graphics are I think going to treat them well. I've also found after talking to several friends that the 'crystal' default setting in the creator isn't kind to ANYONE.

L'devah Fhey - looks the same, if only a bit older.

Troy Maerten - I LOVE IT. He actually looks more like the half elezen that he's supposed to be.

Duq Tribeless - All my dark skinned kids are looking SO MUCH BETTER.

Edelweiss Journey - She looks good, the same. Won't really need any changes.

Clematis Journey - Edel's sibling. I've never gotten him to look the way I want him to, until now. He might need some tweaking just to see what the options look like but otherwise yaaay.

Blu Dalmasca - I think the crystal lighting just isn't nice to him here. I'll have to see if he needs any changes under different lighting.

Garaav Nioremont - Overall I like it. some small changes might be needed but it will take getting him into the actual game to see.

Blilly Lee Black - He's one I could never get to look right, but also the only character not a complete OC. Difficult with someone based on a character from another game, but I think he might actually finally look the way I want him to be with the new graphics. Also even as accurate as this hair is.... I think it needs to change, all I can think of when I see it is fucking Asahi...

It's very funny to compare the treatment of pacifism in Hermitcraft and the Lifesteal SMP, especially when considering the stereotypes related to those SMPs.

Like if I made the average MCYT fan (who's not watched either) guess which series featured a long drawn-out roleplay arc of what it means to be a pacifist, whether being a pacifist means you need to take a passive role in what's going on around you, complemented by some gorgeous thematic builds and giant megafarms and what server had someone try to become a pacifist, on a whim for a vacation, before realising how much they actually enjoyed killing and then their arc revolved around the idea of killing as many things as possible, I think they'd just not believe me.

scholasticate dormitory

a room i made for my theomocent alt, themed after a scholasticate dormitory room. this was as much as i could do with his gil, but i'm happy with it. i always try to make sure my builds have at least one good photo location, and in this case, i find the reflection from these stained glass panes over the scholasticate furniture very beautiful.

Q: Do I have to be IC? A: No, you do not have to be IC or participate in any role-play, but please be mindful that this is an IC event, and be respectful to those who are role-playing and their immersion.

Q: Does my character have to know the couple IC? A: No! First dibs on the invitations will go to those close to Val and Faye, but you can consider this a public occasion. Anyone can attend, and if you can't find a reason for your character to be there IC, you can always attend OOC.

Q: I can only make it to the ceremony/reception, but not the other! A: That's perfectly fine! Both are not mandatory. Come and go as you need. The eternal bonding invitations are only necessary if you are attending the ceremony, so please do not request one if you will only be going to the reception.

Q: Do I have to be on Balmung? A: Unfortunately, due to the game's limitations on eternal bonding ceremonies, only characters on Balmung may attend the ceremony. However, characters on any world may still attend the reception at the teahouse following the ceremony.

I think this is the closest to a "canon" mount as I'm gonna get for him. The Drow sometimes use things called "driftdiscs" which were large stone disks imbued with magic. So it's neat to have a "driftprismatoid" to fall back on. Still using the Resplendant Vessel of Ronka for gathering, though, because a tall Elezen sitting on a tiny jar is peak comedy.
