Marvelous has announced two new entries in the Story of Seasons series—one that retains the traditional gameplay of pursuing your own way of living the farm life, and one in which you can play together with others. Platforms were not announced.

Here is an overview of the games, via Marvelous’ western subsidiary XSEED Games:

With a central theme of “Experiences,” series manager Hikaru Nakano revealed the first footage of the next title in the original farm / life simulation series, highlighting a fresh look after 27 years of farming and friendship. Nakano also shared exciting news and the first concept images for a separate, future entry in development, which is planned to bring Story of Seasons fans together with an ambitious new title where you can play with everyone!

I’m enjoying the A Wonderful Life remake, but am having a small issue where my brain auto-hits Y to put a crop away since that’s the default for Rune Factory and I realize belatedly that in this game, that means eat said crop.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam on June 27 in the west, publishers XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe announced.

In Japan, the Switch version is due out on January 26.

In North America, the standard edition of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life will be priced at $49.99, while the premium edition will be priced at $59.99. The latter includes a copy of the game, 3.5 inches tall by four inches long pocket goat plushie, and a large cloth poster, all housed in a custom box. Both the poster and box share an original illustration by series illustrator Igusa Matsuyama.

In Europe, the standard edition will be priced at €39.99 / £34.99 for the standard edition, while the premium edition will be priced at €49.99 / £44.99. The latter includes a copy of the game, 140-page A5 notebook, chibi sticker, and an A3 poster within a custom outer box, both of which will share an original illustration by series illustrator Igusa Matsuyama.
