Bruno’s wife and Mirabel’s Mamá in Unforeseen! She is of Italian decent alongside her brother, Alonzo and is the one that takes Bruno in after he’s been wounded.

More details will be disclosed later, but her and Bruno fell in love after helping him discover and explore what love really is, because in Unforeseen that emotion and feeling is uncharted territory for him! He’s been deprived and lonely all those years, killing and slaughtering without a care for human life and dignity.

Of course marriage came next and what came after that? Little Mirabel!

I hope y’all like her because I think I do but anything could change. (She’s also slightly taller than him!)

Hey all! Long see, no time! I know this has been a Spiderpunk blog lately, but I'm still very much into Encanto and when I saw an OC appreciation month event run by @encanto-extended-edition, I figured why not? Now, I was going to go with another OC of mine called Nadja and whilst she will still pop up, the focus is going to mainly be on Ariadne and her daughter, Luz. I hope you enjoy this and also give the other blogs taking part in this a look! They're a great bunch of people and deserve all the love!

Born in the impoverished area of Cartegena to a poor, but loving and resourceful single mother, Ariadne "Ari" Cabrera is the mother of Luz, best friend of Noelle and later on, becomes Bruno's wife. She has two younger brothers, Fernando and Ricardo, and being the oldest child and no father figure in the house, she was unoffically made the second parent. As a result, she had to grow up more quickly than others her age and would confide in her stuffed toy pig, Chicharrón.

She's similar to Mrs Squibbles in Monsters University in that she's motherly and caring, but loves her "weird" music, mainly pop punk and Camilo is surprised she knows a lot of the same bands he enjoys. Having two younger brothers as well as her ex partner being into similar, she's more than familiar with it.

Ariadne is small, but very strong and stocky. She's actually one of the strongest ones without a gift and bonds with Luisa on weightlifting and proper technique, as well as their shared love of Greek mythology.

She's always been very headstrong and from a young age, she has been able to stand up for others, but not always herself. However, it wasn't until Luz was born that she started to talk back, her reasoning being how would Luz have the courage to stand up to herself and say no if she sees her mama can't do it for herself? And she doesn't want her daughter growing up thinking that her place is in the home and that she has to obey men and authority.

I decided to make a personality for that fish lady. She comes from a long line of witchfinders but once Mirabel helps her overcome her biases, she becomes a stalwart but extremely scary ally. Sometimes when theres trouble in town she appears in the background wielding a large bladed weapon and its never addressed or acknowledged by the other characters

She actually keeps her fish in tanks, but when they die she puts them in sealed bowls and leaves them where the other fish can see them and she says its to “remind them of the angel of death” and teach her of the price of weakness

Summary: Ever since her gift ceremony, Mirabel hasn't been allowed to do anything without one of her cousins being roped in to help her. In this au what did mirabel mother looked like

I knew I might get asked this! I’ve been working on her back and forth for awhile now.

I’ve scrapped several ideas for her design because I’ve found it difficult to make her and Mirabel look so similar, which is my goal WITHOUT making her look like Julieta or an exact replica of Mirabel. She needs features that make up her daughter well because Mirabel has few features from Bruno.

I’m open to design descriptions from you guys or even your own sketches on what she could look like. I’m letting y’all chip in on what she might look like. I confess I might need help and it would be greatly appreciated!

Mirabel’s Mamá without a doubt needs to have:

Glasses

Dark curly hair

As far as the name of her, I keep thinking Julia, but if you guys have ideas for names that’d be awesome too! Even though she dies, she was still a wife and a mother, and a Madrigal, so she should be seen!
