ratiorine ewb (enemies with benefits), in the middle of doing it — but this time ratio is gentler than usual, taking his time and mostly concentrating on aventurine's pleasure, altho still very much overstimulating him and simply continuing to have his way with the blonde, while also saying things like "you're so beautiful" or "you're mine, only mine" and even kinda confessing that he actually fell for aventurine at one point— and he does it all rather casually while they're still in the middle of it

but for aventurine, it only sinks in a few days later during one of his gambling sprees as he thinks back to that encounter, which causes him to freeze and then panic, and hence, ignoring ratio for the following days and even weeks

and then— ratio thinking that aventurine has now finally gone insane as they meet by accident and the blonde just flees as if he's seen a ghost, stammering something about having an urgent mission he's gotta leave for immediately— just bc he's still very much shaken by the fact that he'd actually smiled broadly and felt giddy as he first remembered what ratio said before he went into panic mode 😌

going to try a fun little experiment where i sprinkle just about everything i use on a daily basis with khernips and see how that goes

(obviously we're not counting toiletry stuff, but like, my driver's license, debit card, different plants, perhaps my pillow at night, etc.)

this is mostly because i found that the more i ritually cleanse myself and the things on my altar, the better i feel and the better my altar supplies seem to work (wax warmer spreads scent faster, tarot reads better, plants seem a bit healthier, etc.), and while it is a bit unorthodox, i'm also just... curious as to whether or not this would help improve my spiritual life, even if it's a bit! i'll report back on the results later :)

Hey friends! So to the 100 of you who voted, THANK YOU! I'm just gonna end the poll since we figured it out. Pretty neck and neck there with the wedding pics being fine for some with a few stretched out for others. While they looked fine on my phone (and I tend to check things in triplicate because unfortunately I rolled the perfectionist trait when I started adulting), I was able to figure out what was causing it with YOUR help!

I was experimenting with pic quality and, since I wasn't using text, figured I'd just do what I want. Well, some images were just too tall and appeared stretched for some users. I like to crop vertically in some cases but when I do that, I stick to 464w x 560h which gives me something like:

Does that look stretched? Probably not, and it gets the job done. But for some of the wedding pics they were over 1300h! So! Lesson learned, thanks for voting, thank you for your helpful replies and to the anon for letting me know.

Eddie nodded. “Considering you didn’t really take much time after the- after, I’m not surprised.” He pushed off the bench, turning around as he reached into a cabinet. “You had me scared, Buck, I thought you were going to say you were leaving us for good.” His words were full of relief, as if he had really been worried.

Which just made Buck feel awesome about what he was about to say next.

“Uh, about that,” he said, trying a laugh of his own that fell flat, strangled on its way out of his mouth by the iron band around his chest. “I won’t be- that is, I’m not-” Buck huffed, trying to find the right way to say it. “I’m not gonna be in contact with anyone. While I’m gone.”

If Buck hadn’t been looking at Eddie directly, he would have missed it. Eddie’s entire body tensed, spine stiffening and hand freezing mid-reach. And then, in a blink, it was gone, leaving Buck to wonder if he’d actually imagined it after all.

“No contact?” Eddie’s voice was calm and controlled as he crossed his arms. “What does that mean, exactly?”
