Cattail Croakington (Maid Marian) HCs
me when i try to research where the characterization of hopper croakington i have in my head came from and realizing it's because of @matttheenbydraws's (or @eah-mh-aus, not sure which to tag) lillian pad posts
the maid marian destiny doesn't follow a bloodline, it goes to a random "extra" royal
cattail is the younger sister of hopper croakington i
they do not get along
to be fair, hopper doesn't get along with anyone with his demanding personality
cattail doesn't get a lot of face time with her parents growing up, she sees them at dinner and balls and scarcely in between
her parents tend to leave her upbringing to a nurse
they have their hands full with hopper, who they take a much more hands-on approach at raising since he will inherit their bloodline destiny
cattail's nurse is a spinster from a noble family who negotiated her getting the job to rein in her wild personality
this does not work
cattail ends up spending a lot of time in the nearby village and with the commoners, engaging in "unprincess-like" activities
her nurse helps her avoid her ettiquette and ballroom dancing lessons, as well as skirt around attending all of the various galas
as she gets older she starts sneaking out to meet up with commoner friends and go to their parties (to her parents' horror)
she also enjoys spending time wandering the estate's wilds
in her first year at ever after high, she gets assigned to room with goseline swannish, a, in her opinion, uptight asshole
cattail take a real 'i can fix her' attitude towards goseline and decides they would be really good friends if goseline would loosen up actually
she meets lark hood and his friends and forces her way into the friendgroup
lark teaches her how to use weapons when they hang out in the enchanted forest
definitely in love with goseline and lark throughout their highschool years
once she finds out her destiny is to become maid marian, she is ecstatic
she's not against the destiny system because she is one of those who were able to get everything they wanted within the bounds of destiny
she is still a role model to darling and doesn't believe in the strictness and rigidty that princesses are subject to growing up, but she isn't a rebel
#imo maid marian benefits too much from the destiny system to be against it#and i think this would make a more compelling dynamic between her and darling#i have more thoughts about this but none of them are coming to me atm#eah#ever after high#eah maid marian#class of classics#class of classics appreciation month#ccm

I truly think SVSSS deserves a revision more than any of MXTX's other novels.
I love the novel, yes, but it is poorly written. MXTX rushed the chapters after Bbingqiu's reunion due to using VIP lock for the first time and it makes the writing distinctly worse. I understand that she was young while writing it, which is the whole reason why it deserves a revision. The novel could have so much more potential than it currently does and it's no wonder that it's her least popular when even fans of her other novels choose to not read it due to being uninterested.
So much more story could be added, or just minor details. For example, we barely know anything about the 12 peaks all together, and unless you make up facts, there's practically nothing on their peak lords too. I see complaints about the SVSSS wiki being empty regarding the peak lords and I hate to say it, but that's NOT due to the moderators but rather pure lack of content. Hell, most of the facts that do existed were only in the light novel and not in the web novel at all. There's such little information it's really not shocking that the fandom runs on head-canons. In all 100 chapters of her novel, half of it in slightly plot, while the other is SQQ being... SQQ.
I have so many thoughts on the potential SVSSS has:
Despite it being mentioned that there are 'plenty of minor sects' we only hear the name of one.
Despite sects like Tian Yi or Zhao Hua being a part of the main 4, we know almost nothing about them, how they run, or their disciples/sect lead (literally the only named Tian Yi disciples are the 3 nuns). We also don't know their locations, what locations they control, or their history
The past events of SVSSS (before SY transmigrated) are so messy. Theres only 2 timelines I've found here on tumblr and even those are so different from each other. Theres no clear years compared to TGCF or MDZS and its so frustrating. This also leaves characters practically age-less (other than like. Binghe) unlike her other characters.
Almost none of the side-characters grow development with anyone other than Shen Qingqiu. I say 'almost' but I can not name any off the top of my head. There are characters that have/had such interesting relationships that were completely thrown out the window For The Plot. This is so.... disappointing, considering other character's relationships make up the plot! It's not only the MC!
Everything being rushed is heartbreaking, and with a re-write I think arcs such as the Holy Mausoleum, Jin Lan, Borderlands, etc could become SO much more interesting. Alongside that, the Mai Gu Ridge situation was blown off so fast?? Like, it was mentioned that the Endless Abyss was breaking through CCM, then just never mentioned again...
Power Scaling. Fights. Actual fights between people who aren't LGQ or LBH. We only really got NYY/LPM, MBJ/his uncle, and TLJ/LBH. Most of those were ALSO rushed.
The System's appearance was reduced LARGELY in the later chapters-almost like MXTX forgot about them. The whole first 2 volumes include The System so much, and its unique! functions! all for it to be disregarded and those functions to never be used other than the jade necklace.
Actually going into the wonderous world of PIDW that is claimed to have interesting weapons (only Xin Mo was shown), locations, plants (only Qingsi and that one thats too long for me to feel like typing shown), and creatures (only rly ZZL and Madam Meiyin shown).
That's all I really have right now. I'm not trying to be an anti of MXTX's other novels. I just think that SVSSS has so much potential that she could have brought out if she had chosen to revise it. I love TGCF and MDZS very much, they have great scaling, brought-out potential, and relationships that SVSSS so could have.
I do want to exclaim that out of all her 3 novels SVSSS has been my favorite for years. I genuinely feel upset that it was not the one picked despite how obvious it is that it has barely any NEW content. Or at the least, confirmed facts. In her QNA's most of the questions are purely MDZS/TGCF while there's maybe 2 SVSSS ones. Those few questions answered by her are literally lifelines for some fans. (Such as heights and Moshang) The novel could become popular just if the criticisms/potential of it were actually addressed. I'm not saying that casually but I am very sure of it as MXTX is a freakishly great writer and she COULD take the novel to the same heights as TGCF/MDZS if she truly wanted to.

First Look: The Ferrari 296 Challenge
On the eve of the Finali Mondiali, which take place at the Mugello Circuit between October 24 & 30, Ferrari will present the 296 Challenge, the ninth model in the history of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli.
Due to debut in the Europe and North America series in the 2024 season, the 296 Challenge introduces a slew of new features with respect to the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo and, in certain respects, is a revolutionary design.
The new 296 Challenge is the embodiment of an innovative new philosophy that has seen far-reaching work carried out on the road car to optimise its specifications for track use. Both in terms of performance and lap consistency throughout a race, the 296 Challenge rewrites the parameters of the Prancing Horse single-make series, offering solutions that closely mirror the specifications of the 296 GT3, which made its debut this season.
Derived from the 296 GTB, the 296 Challenge ushers in substantial modifications on the power unit, aero and vehicle dynamics fronts, all aimed at guaranteeing maximum performance on the track. It is the first car in the history of the championship to be powered by a 120-degree V6: the new model sports the 2992cc twin turbo engine without the hybrid component, a choice also made for the 296 GT3. The engine unleashes 700 cv with maximum torque of 740 Nm, with the result that the 296 Challenge sets a new power record for the segment with 234 cv/l.
The 296 Challenge’s aero package delivers downforce figures unprecedented in the single-make series’ history, ensuring the maximum efficiency in all conditions. In fact, the 296 Challenge generates in excess of 870 kg of downforce at 250 km/h with the spoiler at its maximum angle of attack.
The car sees the debut of ABS EVO Track, a specific adaptation of the innovative system introduced for the first time on the 296 GTB. With the addition of new CCM-R PLUS brake discs, both braking performance and consistency are improved. New, specifically-developed Pirelli 19” tires have also made a substantial contribution to the car’s handling and performance.

hello ccm! the adoption of chinese characters into japanese was interesting because there was already a spoken language in japanese so it was like some of the characters retained their meaning but used japanese pronunciations and sometimes they retained their chinese pronunciations and so sometimes it's hard for historians to interpret old japanese writing because they aren't sure if its the pronunciation or meaning that is being used if that makes sense.
and then among court nobility in japan, at least in the heian period (700s to 1100s) i think, women were not supposed to use chinese characters and were only supposed to use the kana script, but some women knew the chinese characters anyway. i don't know if you know the book the tale of genji (i think it's one of the world's first novels), but i'm pretty sure it was written in kana script by murasaki shikibu who was a court lady.
in the meiji period and again after ww2 it was suggested and seriously considered that the japanese written language change from the kana and kanji system to a romaji system (like romanized) throughout the country because kanji is pretty hard to be fair but this did not end up happening.

Ferrari unveiled the '296 Challenge' at the Finali Mondiali race at Mugello Circuit. The car is scheduled to debut in the Ferrari Challenge in the 2024 season and is the ninth model in the history of the single-make championship hosted by Ferrari. The Ferrari Challenge is currently in its 32nd season.

As riders around the world became more skilled and competitive, the 296 Challenge attempted to make bigger changes than the original model. The 296 Challenge continues Ferrari's long tradition of developing cars for gentleman drivers, but draws on the expertise accumulated in the '296 GT3' more than any other model. The 296 Challenge is a vehicle for drivers who are passionate about future GT racing. During the development of the 296 Challenge we made significant changes, not just minor changes to the model of the production car, but to make it a vehicle optimized for track driving. An extreme form of the vehicle was developed that improves overall performance while maintaining consistency and repeatability for testing and competition.

The 296 Challenge is the first car in Ferrari's single-brand range to be equipped with a V6 engine. So far, all models participating in the Challenge have been equipped with V8 engines. The biggest change compared to the 296 GTB is the elimination of the hybrid powertrain like the 296 GT3. As a result, while reducing the weight of the vehicle, the power output was increased to 700 horsepower (cv), setting a new record in this segment with an output of 234 horsepower per liter. In terms of aerodynamics, solutions derived from the 296 GT3 were taken and pushed to the extreme to achieve unprecedented downforce figures. These include the "S-shaped duct" (which draws air into the central radiator and exhausts it through the vents on the bonnet), the "swan-neck rear wing layout (another element inspired by the development of the 296 GT3)", and the A device that maximizes the stability of downforce generated in different trim conditions.

The braking system has also been completely redesigned. It's the first to feature the new "CCM-R PLUS" disc, which features technology derived from extreme track applications. New Pirelli tires developed specifically for the 296 Challenge also contributed significantly to improved performance. After its debut at the "2019 Finali Mondiali", the 296 Challenge set a record at the Mugello circuit approximately 2 seconds faster than its predecessor "488 Challenge Evo" which debuted in the 2020 season. From the early stages of development, the 296 Challenge discussed removing all hybrid components from the V6 powertrain, as in the 296 GT3. The electric motor and high-voltage battery have been eliminated, and the output of the twin-turbo V6 engine has been increased to 700 cv. This approach helps limit vehicle weight and overall unit complexity, which are fundamental factors in track driving.

Optimizing Profit with Expert Internal Medicine Billing Services
1. Preface
In today’s complex healthcare ecosystem, profit optimization is no longer optional — it is essential. Healthcare providers face increasing pressure to deliver high-quality care while managing rising operational costs, stricter regulations, and constantly changing payer requirements. Internal medicine and mental health practices are especially impacted, as they often deal with complex cases requiring multiple visits, varied treatment plans, and detailed understanding of coding and reimbursement.
This is where expert internal drug billing services and internal health billing services play a vital role. These specialized services help streamline the revenue cycle, reduce claim denials, and ensure maximum reimbursements — allowing providers to focus on patient care instead of navigating billing complexities.
2. Understanding the Challenges in Internal Medicine Billing
Internal medicine practices manage a broad range of chronic and acute conditions — from diabetes and hypertension to preventive care and geriatric services. Billing for these services is diverse and highly nuanced.
Common Challenges Include:
High Volume of Services: Frequent patient visits, lab tests, and long-term care lead to a large number of claims.
Coding Complexity: Providers must code for multiple services and conditions within a single visit accurately.
Chronic Care Management (CCM): Billing for CCM requires detailed documentation, which many practices struggle with.
Regulatory Compliance: Navigating Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer requirements demands constant attention and adaptation.
Standard billing practices often fall short in addressing these issues — only specialized internal medicine billing services can manage them effectively.
3. The Benefits of Expert Internal Medicine Billing Services
Partnering with certified billing professionals offers numerous advantages:
1. Improved Accuracy in Coding and Documentation
Certified billers are updated with the latest ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS code changes — reducing errors and claim denials.
2. Faster Claims Submission and Payment
Automated billing systems streamline claim submissions and follow-ups, resulting in quicker reimbursements and better cash flow.
3. Lower Denial Rates
By ensuring proper pre-authorizations, eligibility checks, and accurate coding, experts significantly reduce denial and rejection rates.
4. Regulatory Compliance
Billing partners continuously monitor payer policies and healthcare laws to keep your practice compliant and audit-ready.
5. Revenue Cycle Optimization
From patient intake to final payment, expert billing services manage the entire revenue cycle, including:
Claim tracking
Denial management
Patient statements
Financial reporting
4. A Closer Look at Mental Health Billing Services
While this article focuses on internal medicine, it's important to consider internal medicine medical billing services due to the overlap in care and billing structures. Many internal medicine practices now provide integrated behavioral health services or partner with mental health professionals.
Mental Health Billing Challenges:
Session-based billing models
Frequent code and payer-specific changes
Pre-authorization for therapy sessions
Confidentiality and documentation requirements
Specialized billing professionals can help with custom billing solutions tailored for:
Therapists
Psychiatrists
Psychologists
Integrated care clinics
When internal medicine and mental health billing are unified, providers can achieve better efficiency and financial outcomes.
5. Key Features of Internal Medicine Billing Services
An effective internal medicine billing partner should provide:
✔ Patient Eligibility Verification Ensures coverage confirmation before services are rendered.
✔ Accurate Medical Coding Expert coding is essential for accurate reimbursements across a wide range of services.
✔ Claim Scrubbing and Submission Claims are reviewed with automated tools to prevent errors before submission.
✔ Denial Management and Appeals Immediate action is taken for denied claims, including identifying root causes and correcting errors.
✔ CCM Billing Properly tracks and bills for non-face-to-face care under Chronic Care Management guidelines.
✔ Reporting and Analytics Generates detailed financial reports to help improve performance and cash flow visibility.
6. Why In-House Billing May Not Be Enough
Many practices try managing billing internally, assigning duties to administrative staff or a small billing team. While this may appear cost-effective at first, it often leads to:
Drawbacks of In-House Billing:
Lack of specialized coding expertise
Inadequate staff training
Challenges keeping up with regulation changes
Slower claims processing
Poor reporting and analytics
In comparison, outsourced internal medicine billing services offer better accuracy, efficiency, and revenue performance.
7. Integration with Mental Health Billing Services
With more practices adopting integrated care models, unified billing becomes critical. A fragmented billing process across specialties causes lost revenue and increased admin work.
Benefits of Integrated Billing:
Shared systems reduce administrative burden
Enhanced collaboration between internal medicine and mental health billing services
Consistent documentation and compliance standards
Better patient experience through consolidated billing
Outsourcing to a provider offering both internal medicine and internal health billing services ensures smooth, accurate, and cohesive billing.
8. Case Study: Revenue Growth with Expert Billing Support
A mid-sized internal medicine clinic in the Midwest faced:
An 18% claim denial rate
Missed CCM billing opportunities
Manual billing issues for behavioral health services
Implemented Solutions:
Partnered with a billing provider offering both internal medicine and mental health services
Adopted integrated billing software connected with their EHR
Implemented real-time eligibility verification and coding audits
Results:
Denial rate dropped to 5%
Monthly revenue increased by 22%
Improved patient collections due to clearer statements and follow-ups
This real-world scenario highlights the positive impact of expert billing support on both financial and operational outcomes.
9. Choosing the Right Billing Partner
When evaluating internal drug billing services or internal health billing services, consider the following:
✔ Industry Experience: Proven track record in internal medicine and behavioral health billing.
✔ Credentialed Staff: Certified and updated in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
✔ Technology Integration: Must integrate with your EHR or practice management software.
✔ Transparent Reporting: Detailed reporting on collections, denials, payments, and balances.
✔ Customizable Services: Tailored solutions based on your practice's needs and workflows.
10. The Future of Medical Billing: Automation and Analytics
Emerging technologies are transforming medical billing. Practices that leverage automation and AI will gain a competitive edge.
Trends to Watch:
AI-driven coding suggestions
Predictive analytics for claim success
Automated denial prediction and resolution
Mobile-friendly billing portals for patients
Billing partners who incorporate these innovations can help future-proof your practice.
11. Conclusion
Profit optimization is essential for internal medicine and mental health providers facing rising administrative and clinical demands. Partnering with expert internal drug billing services ensures accurate coding, efficient claims, and regulatory compliance — all translating into improved financial performance.
As integrated care becomes more common, combining internal medicine billing services with internal health billing services offers a unified solution to billing complexities. Whether you run a solo practice or a multi-specialty clinic, outsourcing to an experienced billing partner results in:
Higher revenue
Fewer denials
More time for what matters most — quality patient care.
