The leader of the spiders hummed, turning the book over, careful to not touch the thing directly in case it had been poisoned or cursed somehow. "I tried stealing that girl's power, but she doesn't seem to have one. But she never goes anywhere without this book, so there must be something about it if not her."            "And you're so interested in this girl so suddenly because...?"

This was a pretty normal sort of conversation for Uvogin. He had never been a very strong strategist, or super inquisitive like Chrollo had been. Where Chrollo sought to learn all he could to improve his plans and prepare for the future, all the hulking mass of power cared for was a good fight and fun. So, the head spider was sure to put it simply.          "Well, she's become a floor master in record time. So, she obviously has a great amount of power. Meaning, she'd be a wonderful addition to our group." That made the man nod in understanding, but Chrollo doubted he cared beyond the potential for a fight. So, he simply returned to examining the notebook without further attempts to explain his plot.

Opening it at last, with the utmost care, he found that it had a slew of rules on the back of the front cover, written in english. But, the universal trade language wasn't the surprise, the rules themselves were. With talk of how the user couldn't go to heaven nor hell, how any name written in the notebook would die in the specified manner or of a heart attack if left vague. They were scarily dark for some form of prank on potential thieves.

Turning a few pages with his napkin, Chrollo found that, sure enough, you had written down your opponents names like the book dictated. Using quite a few creative methods to off those you had to fight. Which, at least explained how someone who seemingly didn't use Nen, was a terrifyingly undefeated floor master.

Not even Hisoka was keen on jumping into a fight with you due to the mystery of your powers. So, finding out that you were nothing more than a regular person who somehow found this lethal book was rather intriguing.           "We need to keep watch on this woman." Chrollo decided after a thorough flip-through of the notebook. Uvogin shrugging,           "Alright, we'll go ahead and snatch her u-"           "No. Just watch her." Chrollo reiterated firmly, earning a confused look from his group.           "Why? What's the purpose of wasting our time watching her when we can just kidnap her and hold her hostage?" Faitan asked, but the leader shook his head,           "I don't want her kidnapped, I want her watched and observed. Don't approach, don't kidnap her, just observe everything she does and everyone she's around." He ordered, closing the notebook and standing up to leave.

He didn't really care if his group was confused at his order, he was more curious over you. He didn't care about their opinion, he wanted to know how and why you had that lethal notebook.

Phantom Troupe finds out y/n is pregnant

I feel this can be answered more or less as a group rather than each one individually, so I’ll be sticking to that (they are a team afterall!)

They'll all be working together to help you before and after the pregnancy. They're basically family.

So there’s two ways this can go, one more realistic (imo) than the other

Option 1 (something I view as less realistic but wholesome)

To start, the first route is that they will have reactions that are a mix of happy and surprised. But all of them are thinking of the same thing; CHROLLO’S A DAD WHAT THE F-

Nobunaga and Uvo are definitely going to be calling themselves the cool uncles while Franklin’s trying to calm them down

They'll tease the hell out of Chrollo for being a dad, calling him old and stuff

Machi and Pakunoda are similar in their reactions; they’re here for you. If you need anything, they’re the ppl to go to since they honestly have the calmest way of approaching things

Machi might be tempted to sew baby clothing and other toys, but she'll never admit it

Chrollo is just there while the news breaks out smiling. He's thinking like "😊"

Hisoka’s basically nonexistent in the troupe so he finds out about this much much  later. He might drop by and say he wants to see how strong the child ends up

Feitan won’t say anything, but he might mumble a small “cool” to you before going to do his errands. He's one of the biggest worrywarts for you but won't admit it either.

Bonolenov is also a calm figure you can rely on. He’s good at music so he’s more or less of a therapist

If you ever feel stressed or sick because of your pregnancy expect at least half of them to say they want to help. You have cravings? There's a whole cart of it at wherever the troupe is hiding out. You feel sick? They'll even kidnap the best doctor if they have to.

Phinks slapped you on the back as a congrats before getting hit by Nobunaga and Machi to be careful around you

Shalnark and Shizuku are already asking about names you’re thinking of for the child. They're one of the younger members of the troupe and are just curious how it's going for you.

They all vow they want to protect whoever the child is and hopefully raise them right! Besides, they’ve seen how kids in Meteor City are abandoned, so they want to be there for the kid

Option 2 (kinda angsty?)

The other reaction they would have, one I have an easier time believing, is confusion and fear or what will happen next. Hell they might even be upset

They likely don’t want a kid around, even if they have Kortopi he’s enough for the troupe to take care of

Not to mention their line of work and their origins in a place so dangerous make them less approving of having children

So when the news broke out that you were pregnant, and not just pregnant but with Chrollo’s child, they feel a mix of emotions

On one hand, they’re happy for you (if you wanted to have a child that is) but on the other hand, now they have to ask themselves if this is the route they want to take

Chrollo's their boss so they have respect for him and you, so nothing mean or ill-willed will be thrown at you. But just know that if you are in the troupe, it's likely that being pregnant would be a major weakness to the group in terms of their feats in stealing and other crimes

I feel like Chrollo would also have the same feeling, like he would most prefer not having a child due to his work, but at the same time he always wondered what it would be like to have a child or at least a family of some kind other than the group he created

You might end up being dropped off in Meteor City or somewhere else by the troupe to take care of your child, with the rest of the spiders visiting you periodically. Overall, it’s hard for you and the troupe if there’s a child coming. They want the best for the kid, but with how much blood is stained on their hands, it's hard to think what kind of a child they might end up raising as a group.

Chrollo

Chrollo is almost infuriating in a way, since he acts like nothing is wrong. He speaks to you as he used to, casual as ever, as if you weren’t a prisoner with him as your warden. This isn’t intended to be insulting, he genuinely thinks you’ll adjust to your new situation better this way. While he does find it regrettable, there’s no remorse on his part. He believes if you simply acted in accordance to his wishes, nothing dramatic would’ve been necessary. You forced his hand, is all. It’s a shame, truly, but that’s it all is. A shame. He intends to make the most out of it, regardless. 

The biggest punishment is being in Chrollo’s presence honestly. When you’re mentally worn out, sometimes it does almost feel tempting to play pretend for a brief respite. Act as if everything was normal, your relationship was loving and healthy like it used to be; except it isn’t. You curse yourself whenever you think you’re growing complacent. Hatred is a tiring emotion to maintain, you find. Draining in its very nature. He’s worse than the serpent in the garden, whispering sweet yet hollow promises of what could be if you only gave in. It could be like it used to be, he’ll say. You were happy then, he’ll remind you. And I can make you happy still, should you allow me, dearest. 

Yes, being with Chrollo is a punishment. Because if you’re not careful, you start to believe what he wants is what you want too.

Feitan

There’s a great deal about you that makes him curious. The unique properties of your blood, for instance — Corruption, he thinks he’s heard it called in the common tongue. Unlike Chrollo, who looks at things from a more antiquarian perspective, Feitan fancies himself a simple man. He wonders if it influences your sense of touch. Specifically, your pain and pleasure. Feitan finds it thrilling that he can’t let his guard down too much in your presence. At the same time, it’s amusing to taunt you by pretending to lower his guard. Rarely do you fall for such simple traps, but seeing the frustration you work so hard to hide on your otherwise indifferent features really gets him going. 

As for punishments, his preference errs toward psychological. He’ll take away one of your senses — sight, normally — leaving you in a more helpless state which he admires from afar. Over the course of hours, even days, he’ll attempt to whittle you down. He enjoys running his cold fingers over the expanse of your exposed skin, though he’s most drawn to the muscles on your back. Watching them flex and contract beneath your skin is fascinating. He lives for the power rush it gives him. He can never leave you blindfolded for long, though, it becomes more of a punishment for himself. Your eyes are his favorite feature. While you maintain respectable control over your body language and voice, your eyes aren’t as eager to obey. They betray your inner resentment and he basks in it as if it were ambrosia.
