[img id] Digital artwork of a Bogsneak dragon, which looks like a monitor lizard standing upright. It is drawn with thin black lineart. A bogsneak has a long neck, a long tail, relatively stubby lizard limbs, and a short wingspan. Twin frills line its neck. This dragon is mostly tan along the body, with reddish brown wings and mineralized dark brown splotches on all the wing and fin membranes. It sports exotic turquoise marks, including a 'mask' around the eyes and contour lines down its belly and across its limbs. Its tail is vibrantly stripy with deep brown and turquoise stripes.
If someone hates this dragon's anatomy or tells me I've "ruined" my own artwork, I will eat them [/id]
based on your head cannon that pip used makeup to hide his burn scars what if he accidentally used the wrong shade and had like an orange hue to his face
THAT TOTALLY HAPPENS ONCE and then he’s always trying over and over to get the right shade. he’ll test on his elbow to get the right color.
his friends ask “why tf is ur cheek orange?”
”ate the magical peach” would be his answer
some thoughts about shading, particularly with a pen! :) I do also find it a good technique to have in mind when using colored pencil, as well - it's a subtler sculpt with softer lines
Lol I parodied Blueberry here when I noticed how nicely I'd done by contour/blush/highlight today, lol Blueberry can say it abput his natural features but I'm not so blessed.
