Basic CRM for small business Sales boost Sales CRM Software
In today's highly competitive business world, small businesses need to have an effective CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system in place. A CRM system helps businesses manage and nurture customer relationships, track sales, and improve efficiency. However, many small businesses overlook the importance of a CRM system, assuming it is only necessary for larger companies with a large customer base. This is where Sales Boost Sales CRM software comes into play.

I know I'm gonna sound like a crazy old broken record... but hear me out. Lots of speculation as to the true purpose of the thisisnotawebsitedotcom.com thing beneath the cut.
So... does anyone else feel like the ARG website is... odd? Like it's leading to something more coming? And before anyone screams, "Well, ackshully, Hirsch said he doesn't want to do a Season 3-"
YES. I KNOW. He said no Season 3 a million times. I was there when he told us Season 2 was it for the first time. But what he didn't say, however, was, "No more Gravity Falls anything... EVER.". Hence why we've gotten Journal 3, Lost Legends, and now The Book of Bill. Hirsch is veeerrrrry comfortable making more GF stuff.
And as someone that studied programming in college, I can tell you, this website does not seem like it was easy or cheap to make. It's effectively a single screen point and click game in a browser. Looking at the code, it seems they did use a framework called Bridgetown, lacing in looped animated MP4 files with clickable assets on top that make up the interactive elements (e.g the computer), with a lot of content made for the website itself from image files and text for each prompt a user might type. Sure, it's not the most difficult thing to program, but it's a lot more complex than, say, the searchfortheblindeye site back in the day.
That, and as someone who has worked in the corporate world, I'm sorry, but you don't pour this much effort/money into something that is just "lol cool things after product for funsies". If this was just for The Book of Bill, the smart marketing decision would have been to make the lofi album and the website, tease fans with both of them, and let them lead to an announcement of the book itself to tempt them into buying it, not the other way around. Like... Disney ain't gonna do that just out of love for fans. It's Disney, come on. They do things for money.
It's possible that Hirsch paid for it himself just for the fans, but I doubt it. Wanna know why? Because of the website's security certificate and ownership. Let's take a gander at this:
Tumblr media
There are two odd things here. One, the range of the expiration. Most security certs last 1-2 years, at least they did at one of my previous places of employment (and we had like 50+ of them). This one expires November 7th, 2024. Odd, but maybe they only want the website up for a few months? Anyways, as an aside, everyone keep an eye out for November 7th, 2024. Could be nothing, could be something.
The other weird thing is the domain holder. Looking it up on ICANN, it gives this address:
Tumblr media
Look that up on Google Maps, and it takes you to a company called Dun and Bradstreet. Long story short, the company does a bazillion things, but the main thing we're talking about here is:
Tumblr media
Oh gee, Sales and Marketing. And their Sales and Marketing tools? Basically, they use data to tell companies who their audience is, so that they can market to them. Now, why would Disney care about this for a fandom for a show that's been done for almost a decade, just for a book that was released before said website (so we know they're not gathering marketing data for the book)?
Well, if I were to guess... long story short, all this stuff is a tactic to gauge who the Gravity Falls audience is now. Release the book, make some dough and fans happy, tie in a secret marketing data collection gimmick (AKA the website) using D&B as a vendor to hook the data into your CRM, send fans to a website to collect marketing data, and shabam. Now you know who the target market is all this time after.
And why in the hell would a company care about that? You tell me. Why care about who a target market is if you're not planning on marketing something to them later?
It could be that Disney is planning something similar to Gravity Falls and wants to gauge if there'd still be a market for that kind of show. Or... it could mean that Disney is planning on something more substantial related to Gravity Falls or Hirsch pitched it, and they were like, "Well, wait, let's collect data on this, first, so we'd know if it'd be a good business decision.". Not sure.
I mean, maybe I'm crazy, but doesn't this seem fishy to anyone else? If anyone else has any hypotheses as to why Hirsch and Disney have a Gravity Falls website owned by D&B, let me know, but to me... this smells... very... marketing oriented. And Hirsch doesn't seem like the guy to pour his own money into hiring an outside company to gather marketing data, that seems more up Disney's alley.

Richonne in Retrospect - The 💋 List
(every Richonne kiss ranked)
#16: The Dreamy Kiss (1.01)
Tumblr media
This kiss was legitimately dreamy.😍 And I especially love this one for being the reason Richonne got to kiss in all 6 episodes, even with them not reuniting until the very end of ep one. This was our first time seeing Rick and Michonne kiss in years since they left TWD, and this gorgeous dream & kiss captured Richonne's signature glowing love and beauty completely 🥰...
I adore everything about this kiss. It's great seeing Rick and Michonne both look so captivatingly beautiful in those light-colored outfits that really complement each other. And it's also great seeing this dream version of Rick and Michonne be so captivated by each other. It makes sense because they've been captivated by each other since season 3 of TWD. Rick was so incredibly charming and dashing and Michonne was so incredibly enchanting and elegant in this dream. I love that these two were so endeared to each other in these dreams, to the point that Rick was ready to propose to Michonne right there on the bench lol.
In TWD, Richonne was basically living married before even having their first kiss, and it's sweet how now in Rick's dream they're ready to get married seemingly before even knowing first names. 😋 "5 Pizzas and a Wedding Ring" is forever iconic. And then the kiss after is just such evidence that Rick and Michonne are soulmates that go together in any universe. I love that the kiss is filmed similarly to their first-ever kiss in 6.10 with it being filmed from behind the park bench like how their very first kiss was filmed from behind the couch.
Tumblr media
I'm always so touched by Rick's face just before he leans in to kiss Michonne because the brief expression on his face just really looks like he feels so lucky and honored to get to kiss his dream woman right now. I adore Rick and Michonne's smile as they kiss and Michonne leaning in for that second kiss. They really did a great job of infusing joy into this kiss. This moment just feels like two people who seem to know and cherish that they've found the one their heart was always looking for. And I love that Rick's mind created this scene and that this beautiful display reflects how he views the beautiful love he found with Michonne. I also just realized that 3 of the kisses on this Kiss List occur in an imagined reality. It makes me so happy that whether it’s their son‘s visions of the future (8.01), a hallucination while on death’s door (9.05), or a dream that Rick finds solace in while asleep at the CRM (1.01), Richonne’s love always shines in any dimension. ☺️
While Michonne’s image begins to burn away after this dream kiss, it's impactful that Rick still was able to see her and have this precious moment with her in his dream even after he officially decides to die but live. Even with trauma causing his memories to fade, his mind was still able to remember Michonne’s smile and her kiss one more time. Thankfully, it wouldn't be the last time, as Rick and Michonne would make up for all the times they missed out on kissing each other through the years once they reunited in TOWL - which is just one of the thousands of reasons this miniseries feels like a Richonne stan's dream come true. ♥️

I need to explain why forgetting carl had such a deep impact on rick because there’s this whole other level to it ok bear with me here:
there’s this term used in many different academic fields— anthropology, psychology, history, migration and decolonization, ethics— called memory work. it’s basically the process of remembering the experience of history and the studying of social memory. it’s largely used in relation to migrants who don’t have homes, steady routines, or consistent grounding details to help their memory, so the one space they don’t have to flee from or that hasn’t become “colonized” is their minds. memory is a way of preserving not just personal memory, but social and cultural history.
so the fact that rick can’t remember carl is HUGE. when the dreams stop, that is a big deal. because so much of what they went through as father and son happened when they were effectively displaced from their home by the circumstances of the world. their constant process of migration in the original show probably affected social memory and people’s capacity to remember in really massive ways. plus, rick’s love for carl especially is thematically embedded with ideas of legacy, memory, and the intergenerational transmission of knowledge as motivation for creating a better world. he wanted to make a new world for his son! their relationship was symbolic of the construction of a new civilization and cultural identity. that’s part of why rick grimes was so revered and admired, because his memory work helped forge a new identity and home that everyone could ground themselves in.
but then rick gets to the CRM, where there is a consistent routine, confinement to a specific place, a value on sameness and cohesion from obedience, and an isolation from these sort of “cultural” objects or artefacts that might help jog his memory of carl (familiar places like ASZ, carl’s handprints on the porch, judith’s drawings of their family, carl’s letter to rick, etc.). this means that the CRM effectively tried to destroy rick’s capacity for memory for 8 years.
he performed memory work to resist, by getting the faces of his loved ones drawn onto phone screens, writing letters to michonne and judith, keeping any possessions from ASZ that he could. but the chaotic outside world he travelled through under extreme, stressful circumstances becomes harder to carry with him when he’s being presented with an environment so sturdy and consistent that denies him contact with anything to preserve his memory of history.
so effectively, the CRM and the way their city is set up uses tactics one would see in brainwashing and the formation of cults or colonial projects. the CRM relies on separation of families and the destruction of memory to succeed.
this isn’t just rick being worn down and losing his spine. it’s deeper than that. it is the erasure of his social and cultural memory of the apocalypse and of alexandria. and carl grimes was the first price that had to be paid.

Question- has anyone ever written about Cabin Pressure from the perspective of its depictions of aviation?
I have seen a few people (I think on here!) mention Cabin Pressure getting them into aviation, which is what makes me wonder if any of them- or anyone else- has gone into more detail!
I know that JF used his dad as aviation consultant, and I've seen a few different places where he himself commented on the aviation terminology on his blog, and a podcast interview I heard where he describes the plot/a bunch of dialogue from Qik basically coming from a conversation with his dad about whether a plane of the kind he made GERTI could do an Arctic sightseeing trip. And of course there's the use of CRM* as a plot driver in Ipswich.
*which means something completely different in my field and thus always throws me
So that I have, but I'm curious if anyone has ever done something more specifically about the show from an aviation lens. I ask this because recently, on my long express-train subway commutes, I've been reading a lot of Admiral Cloudberg articles about plane crashes/disasters, and while I expected to know/understand nothing, I was pleasantly surprised at how much of the terminology I recognized (even if not necessarily what it MEANT) from the background of Cabin Pressure episodes. So I get why nothing funny happens during takeoff/landing (sterile cockpit rule), what the deal is with maximum takeoff/landing weight, and a few other things that I'm not remembering, partly because I probably still don't totally understand them lol. I'd be really curious to know what some of the more subtle aviation-related angles that I might have missed might be, how the show does aviation-wise overall... just seems like a fun angle.

One moment that is not talked about enough for me is when Rick sees Michonne’s scar. And of course it‘s cloaked in that whole moment of Rick seeing Michonne undress and being very horny lol That man was starving, ok 😭 And of course you can immediately see the rage in his face. Like, he was already plotting on killing whoever is responsible for this. Jocelyn better be thankful she is already dead! But also it‘s something that shatters the illusion he is holding on to. Because as long as Michonne is not in front of him, as long as he pushes her away, he can imagine her living a happy life back in Alexandria with their kid(s). Like, it’s killing me to not be with them but if they get to live good lifes because of it so be it. And here is confronted with the fact that clearly it is and has not been all sunshines and rainbows for her. So why and what exactly he is sacrificing himself for?
Yes, it's so sad. He thought he did what he did for the greater good. He fully let himself believe that Michonne and Judith were okay without him, despite him knowing more than anybody how this world works. I can only imagine the guilt he must feel. He was fully ready to leave the CRM just to go back and kill Jocelyn lmao!
It's kind of funny because Michonne also had illusions. She let herself believe that once she found Rick again everything would be fine and dandy. She thought they'd be holding hands skipping into the sunset together. I guess them believing those things was basically the thing holding their last strand of sanity together.
Like imagine a protector and family man like Rick being ripped away from everyone he loves, unable to stop any of the evil happening to them. He HAD to believe they were okay or else I believe he would have physically let himself die. And imagine the discovering the love of your life suddenly and brutally "dying" in front of you. You have every reason to believe they are dead but somehow you still know they aren't. Everyone thinks you're crazy and the one person who tells you that you aren't crazy is a crazy person themselves. Years go by and at random you find miscellaneous clues that they are still alive! And so now you really know that they need your help because they must be really stuck wherever they are. Because there is no world you can imagine where they wouldn't do everything in their power to be with you. You would just have to believe that mentally they are okay. That once you find them everything else comes easy. You would not wanna imagine how broken they truly are. It's kind of really romantic when you think about it. Lying to yourself just because you can't fathom them not being safe.
They've both been through so much. I'm glad they got their happy ending 🥺🥺

Spoilers for TOWL episode 4.
Hot off the episode and I’m just blabbing thoughts, so don’t mind me, but those moments of Rick freezing up? Almost like he was having some sort of panic attack or traumatic episode? I’m kind of reading into it like it’s cognitive dissonance somatized.
Like, he’s terrified of what could happen to Michonne—to their family—if he tests the CRM and their restrictions (basically, if he leaves), and has convinced himself that the only way to protect them is to not return to them. However, this episode provides us two moments where Rick is stuck and hyperventilating. These moments are when he chooses to go after Michonne and when they make love later (for the first time in years). He’s deviating from the mentality he’s set for himself and following his heart.
The confliction: staying with her endangers her/he can’t let her go. And the struggle has manifested itself physically.
Again, don’t mind me, just rambling…

i never post on here but i have so much in my head about twd: the ones who live i honestly feel like i might explode.
i know all anyone really wants to talk about from episode 2 is That Part of their reunion (which is fair, don't ask me how many times I rewatched it), but now, the part that keeps playing over and over again in my head is this tiny bit:
Tumblr media
and i just need to say, danai and andy are so insanely talented bc this clip?? this clip—short as it is, with not a world of dialogue—says SO much about where our two characters are at.
first, rick. i watch this clip and i think holy shit, yeah, that is a broken man. andy does a masterful job at displaying through his eyes and the way he carries himself the extent of the psychological damage and anguish within rick, not to mention the guilt he carries. you can see the gears turning in his head as he reminds himself how he basically gave up on her. how he gave up on himself. how he told himself that he was done, he was never seeing her again, and let himself fold into the CRM. i think it's safe to say he hates himself for his choice to move on. he's utterly crushed by it. like look at him, he can't even meet her eyes!!
and michonne? she sees it. once the euphoria of I Found You has begun to wear off and she lets herself really take him in, she immediately clocks that this is not the same rick that "died" on the bridge. not the rick that led alexandria. not the rick that got them out of terminus. and definitely not the rick that stood up to the saviors. in fact, the last time she saw this version of him, it was right after the first time they ever lost to negan, and that horrifies her, because if that rick is back, then something truly terrible has happened. the look on her face in the clip says a million things, but most loudly, she's wondering, understandably and devastatingly, "my love, what have they done to you?"
the final clue for her that her rick is gone, at least for now, is their next interaction. since forever, both of their instincts anytime they've been told that something bad is coming their way have been to either hoof it for the safety of their family or stand back to back and dispatch the threat. it's the panic in his voice, the sheer desperation as he pleads with her to stand down instead and hide herself after she suggests they go that tells her she has no idea what he's been through or what she's in for now that she's in the shit with him. and even now, if the trailer for E03 has been any indication, she still fails to grasp the danger they're both in. i know what people online have been saying, but she's not being careless, this is michonne we're talking about, she just doesn't understand how careful she really has to be. and then throw jadis and her bitch ass bowl cut into the mix and suddenly a whole new threat looms over alexandria and the commonwealth that ultimately all comes back on rick too? the guilt he now has to face for not only dragging his wife into his mess, but through jadis, also his daughter and all his friends?? and if he finds out now that he has a son too, then there's even more guilt??????
i could go on for hours but i won't. all i'll say is that we're definitely in for such an emotional ride tomorrow. and really there's no one else i trust more than andy and danai to deliver that for us.

I guess I should post again...
I'll start by introducing the OC that basically inspired me to make this AU and reframe this entire blog to focus on the AU...
Tumblr media
Welcome to the Creepshow!
This OC, Creepshow, was inspired by the Avantasia song (which you should listen to cause DAMN IT'S GOOD!)
The idea came as I was listening to the song and though "huh, that opening riff gives pro-wrestler entrance theme vibes... wait a second!" So I sat down and started working on making a character out of it.
Creepshow the wrestler is a lot like Creepshow the song: a loud, brash, fun-loving and slightly chaotic one-man party. When he's a face, he's a mixture of Machi Man Randy Savage, David Lee Roth and Deadpool; a pure ball of energy and chaos and constant rapport with the crowd. When he's a heel, he leans into scary clown territory akin to the Joker, Rorschach, and Sting (the wrestler); quiet, ominous, and a little unhinged.
As mentioned, he's based off of some irl wrestlers and some comic book characters, as well as Tobias Sammet (the Avantasia guy), cause wrestling is all about larger-than-life characters and concepts, hand-in-hand with power metal and comic book superheroes, which will be my primary inspiration draws for other characters in this AU.
Also thanks to @docma-crm for the character art (at least I think it was you!)
Also here's some other concepts for Creepshow I made using HeroForge:

Is Rick the jealous type? If so what would he do if a guy was flirty with Michonne?
[Disclaimer: Tumblr never saved my edits 2x in a row, so if this doesn’t make sense, it’s because my brain is tired of trying to regurgitate the coherent answer I first came up with]
First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for being so, so, so late responding to this. To be honest I think either youledmehere or whateverisbeautiful would give a better, more definitive answer.
I don’t know if I can speak on him because I don’t know the ins and outs of his character. I haven’t watched enough of the show. I’ve only seen TOWL and maybe 33% of the main show. Basically, I’ve skimmed the book, read the epilogue, but never digested it whole (a crime, I know, I plan to go back). I don’t want to pretend I know what I’m talking about. Anything below is just my rambling opinion so far.
It depends. Early Rick? Yes. Current Rick? I don’t think so.
To me a jealous type is a negative thing: a person who feels so insecure in their role and in their relationship, they habitually perceive others as a threat that may take their position. To be the jealous type is to see your value as outside of yourself as external removable component, as something somebody else can mimic, reproduce, or steal.
Early Rick was the jealous type. From my cursory look at the early seasons, Rick – as a husband and partner – comes across as incomplete, his character development half-baked. Possessive, aggressive (when not indifferent), jealous to the point of violence (literally kept killing his rivals). A simmering bomb waiting to go off. His insecurities were still a gaping, festering wound: his lack of confidence as a husband, a father, a leader, a man – which were then exacerbated by Shane’s betrayal, Lori’s death, the fall of the prison, and more. Maybe I’m being hyperbolic, who knows? Yet, the difference between Rick then and Rick now is night and day, and it boils down to, in my opinion, security.
The current Rick, the Rick I am most familiar with, Michonne’s Rick, does not exhibit the aggressive, insecure jealousy of his younger self. He has no reason to be jealous, no reason to doubt or try to assert his importance to her. He knows where he stands. They are the love of each other’s lives, and they aren’t afraid to say it aloud. They exhibit such healthy communication. Michonne constantly speaks life into him, encouraging him, strengthening him, reminding him of his necessity to her and to their family. He is the love of her life and the father of their children. He cannot be mimicked. He cannot be replaced. They have never experienced that level of intimacy with anyone else in their lives, an unbreakable, logic-defying soul connection. They are secure in each other. Almost nine years passed, and he knew her love hadn’t changed. Soulmate connection so deep they act as mirror images of each other: “I know you never moved on from me because I never moved on from you.” What a brilliant foil to his first reunion. Connections like that can make jealousy dissipate. There’s no impetus driving it, no anxious root for it to stem from. Why be jealous when you know she will never desire anyone but you, and you never desire anyone but her?
Michonne represents this concept so well in her interaction with Jadis in 7x10 (?). When Jadis makes a move on Rick, Michonne doesn’t become aggressive or defensive, telling Jadis to stay away from her man. No, she just looks perplexed at Jadis, then looks at Rick, then back at Jadis, and just calmly says (paraphrasing): I think we should go. Then, she walks away, knowing Rick will follow. It’s laughable for Jadis to approach Rick in that scene because he’s so obviously, irrevocably Michonne’s, and Jadis knows that. Michonne is 100% secure in Rick's love for her. When Michonne shows up in the CRM, she never perceived Thorne or Jadis as a romantic threat. No jealousy, even when Thorne tried to say Rick was her family. She had zero doubt her man waited for her, the same way Rick had zero doubt she waited for him. Again. Mirror images.
In short, I don't know for sure. Yet, I imagine current Rick is too entangled and secure in his wife’s love to notice the flies buzzing around them, too busy staring at her lips to register anyone else as a threat (also because he knows they never will be and vice versa).

I think overall there’s one of two „big“ problems happening for people who have a problem with TOWL (racists and the likes aside… 🙄).
1- The misunderstanding that this was truly much more a Rick and Michonne story than a TWD one. This was not TWD S12. It was about telling the story of these 2 characters and being able to put a dot at the end (or a dot dot dot). And you’ve laid all of that out perfectly. Like yes, in TWD, Beale (& the CRM) would have been draaaaagged out. But this was much more of a Terminus approach than a Saviors one if we will…
2- TWD was never the most ..subtle show. They tended to hit the audience over the head with stuff. And I’m not sure I would go as far as calling TOWL subtle outright either (idk, didn’t think about this until right this moment lol -obviously elements of it are, sure -just as elements on TWD could be on the subtler side) but compared to TWD, it certainly is lol. And there has been a very big „media literacy“ and „basic comprehension skills“ problem happening for a minute now. And I really don’t say this to be mean or make fun of people or anything but these are just facts. Some people really struggle with getting the information when they are not being hit over the head with it, over and over and over again. After the finale I saw several posts on my tl of people wondering why this, that or the other was not addressed or how/why this, that or the other did happen… and I was utterly confused because those things they claimed were missing were very much shown? I was like, there was literally a scene dealing with all of this? And it didn’t require any reading between the lines to be honest, no subtext, it was very much the text of the scene?! So it seems like some people just didn’t get a lot of things that were happening 🫤
(BTW I don’t mean that even if someone didn’t have these specific problems with the show, they MUST love it then. Likes and dislikes etc etc. As much as I really loved the show as a whole, if I decided to put down the Richonne-colored glasses I wanted to and did watch to the show with.. I’d definitely have a few complaints lol, though still very much enjoyed the show even then)
That's definitely what happened. And to some extent, I get why, considering Rick and Michonne are 2/3 of the main show's Big Three. But when the press and promos started, and people were still talking about some Marvel-style meet-up, I was like...oh they're definitely not listening to what's being said, because it's six damn episodes, and also The Richonne story, not the Team Family jamboree. And then acting as if it's somehow 'insulting' to the rest of the characters if Rick and Michonne didn't talk about them. The man had PTSD so bad, he couldn't remember his own son's face. Why would you think it would be good time for him to pause in the middle of his wife telling him about a traumatic moment during her pregnancy to ask about anyone else? Please be fr.
I feel you on the comprehension thing, which is nothing new for this fandom. The fact that so many people legit thought Rick didn't know how to drive stick and questioned the 'realism' of it but never stopped to think that it was because he only has one damn hand. Y'all were fine with every silly ass moment that happened in the main show, that was either sheer dumb luck or handwaved away, but now we need a complete breakdown from experts on how Rick managed to fight off walkers one-handed. Now y'all want the realism, when you've been so giddy for weeks because you need one of them to die for the show to be 'interesting'.
I'm really not listening to people who need the narrative to hold their hand through everything, or need to see every piece of the plot onscreen for it to be considered 'legitimate'. (I'm officially banning the phrase 'plot armor' for the foreseeable future).
People didn't get things, because they don't take a minute to sit with the damn material anymore. From live reactions videos to live tweeting/blogging, people are just watching TV to make content and have an online moment, not for what's actually being shown. And yeah, TOWL isn't perfect, but the minor criticisms I have for it doesn't take away from the fact that it is very enjoyable and easily the best material from the TWD landscape in a long time.
(sidenote: I will say one of my favorite things from these past six weeks is everyone struggling to figure out the overall TWD timeline, lmao.)

I've finally fixed trainsingames.com, so you can now actually read the things I wrote there, see the screenshots and so on. Just to be clear, this isn't my best work, it's all from 2013 or earlier, I'd definitely do and say things differently now, but hey, I still made it, and I don't want to see it gone.
The site is basically archived. I have no plans to write anything more for it at the moment. Never say never, of course, but given how few games I played over the past years, I don't really see it happening, sorry.
(I also have no plans to open it up to others, sorry, because that's something I'd need to manage, I'd probably need to install a proper CRM and so on, and I just don't have the time or energy for that among all my other hobbies.)
On the website front, I may do some changes, just to make it look nicer, but there's no set time frame for that. I also want to change it to a system where the site is just static HTML that gets regenerated from PHP when I update it (or something like that) to avoid any issues like this one in the future. For the record, the problem was that the Markdown parser I had from ~2007 didn't work with modern PHP versions, so I finally updated it.
And yes, I made trainsingames.com long before this blog, that's where I got the idea for this URL from.
