ahhh cowboy objects!!!!!

mostly pre-existing ocs, though a couple should be familiar (charlie and sylvester!). I may make vincent & everyone related to him (randy & jay, amongst others I've never posted) objects for funsies too.

The other guys (Roseall, Cryssal (The... orange crystal), Belle and Ganderi) are a part of this ooooold story from like 2021. Full of cactus cowboys and not-so-cactus cowboys (it's really cool!) More info (and old art I still like) under the cut for funsies...

Roseall is this outlaw of sorts, though he has never really done anything warranting an outlaw reputation. He's just known like that, for some reason, despite being... pretty sweet. He's the supposed last Cylindropuntia Rubrisprinus (which is a made-up species), and so his spines are worth a lot.

He has a brother, Whipple (C. Whipplei), who is the STUPIDEST corn thing in the whole world. Why are you like that? What did Roseall ever do to you??? Is it the cold, boy???

(He's the yellow one! They're kids there. So he's kinda normal, actually)

Cryssal was... is? is Roseall's partner. Good for him. He survived getting shot in the head with a shotgun once (much unlike Roseall. Har har!) Other than that I don't....remember much. He's still scrungly though. I don't have GOOD art. of him. though.

Belle (Uebelmannia Pectinifera) and Ganderi (C. Ganderi) I don't remember as much about; I don't know if they had more actual plot relevance beyond character interactions but I've got more old art:

And 6 misc guys! My favourite are Micah and Mallo . . . though mr SHEEPDOG over there is REALLY FUNNY. I forgot the. the species. thuogh. but he's some opuntia. I think the common name is like sheepdog cactus or something

Boys Night

Marcel slapped Jay on the back, the smell of beer on both their breaths. "No, but seriously, if you could bang anyone in the house, who would you bang?" Jay grew quiet, his eyebrows shooting up. He pursed his lips and squinted at a wall. "Mm, I mean..." He didn't finish his thought.

Marcel burst out laughing. "Wait, don’tell me, you actually asked some of them before!?" His words slurred and he laughed into Jay's shoulder. "Who? All o’them? Is that how you met, you asked to get into their pants?" 

Jay elbowed Marcel playfully and groaned. "I wish! Can you imagine the kinky stuff Lake would be into? Or Windy? But no sirree, back when’a met the family, tried hitting off with Windy and she was a sour puss. Made her a challenge. But she and Nana Inga made it clear as cryssal they weren't interested.” Jay leaned hard against Marcel and unsuccessfully tried whispering in his ear. “Plus they ain’t human, and that comp’lates things. I don't like shagging up with other fae. Samuel though, he was up for it."

Marcel gave Jay a careful look. He never knew what to say when anyone brought up their recent loss. He wished he had met Samuel. 

He spoke up before the silence could grow awkward. "Ah wait, I thought Samuel was fae too? Isn't he, you know," Marcel wigled his fingers in front of Jay's face, making ghostly noises. "Isn't he like Ingrid?"

"Sure was. I usually don't swing for that, you never know if you can trust em, or if you'll end up in some contract for a millennium.” Jay swung out his arms for emphasis, nearly hitting Marcel in the face. “But he was a good lay, and a right decent man. No faults on him. Ah, and Samuel was young too, by fae standards. Dang he was cute. So yeah, we fooled around a bit until he landed a boyfriend."

Marcel got a mischievous grin and poked Jay in the face. "Aha! S’that what you see in me, I'm young? You get a thing for younger guys?"

"Babe, I'm nearing 500 years old, everyone’s younger ’an me. And yes," he added, tackling Marcel to the couch with kisses, "Younger guys are hot as hell. In fact, there's this particular 36 year old that I am majorly crushing on. You think’a got a chance?"

"I can put in a good word for you," Marcel responded, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend.
