Not so Berry, a long recap (1/3)

Humble Beginnings.

We start the story in Henford-On-Bagley, in Fall, with Coral. Simon Scott decided to visit, and ended up asking to stay over, Coral let him stay (despite the shitty living situation), they also hit it off. Sometime later I (not coral) found out his wife, Sara, was PREGNANT… 

They start dating (he's married btw!!! 😐), but during dinner one night, Sara finds out about the two, they both get chewed out. The next day, Simon "apologized" to Coral in a very intimate way.

Later on, Simon tells her that Sara and him got divorced, Coral proposes to him later that night. Since the proposal, he’d become silent, but one day, he asked her out on a date, the date goes poorly, they're both distant, and a man catches Coral's eye, she was drawn to this man, Simon tries to get her back, fails and leaves, the man, Don, and Coral go back to her place to tango. Coral turns out to be pregnant. 

She has a discussion with Don abt the baby, and in the end, she decides to keep the baby, she’s still engaged atp. she gives birth to a girl, the heir, named Cataleya.

Coral finally decides to tell Simon what’s going on, Simon was enraged, but offered her a second chance, she didn’t take it.

(A.N) I left my game unpaused when I went to make dinner and i came back to Coral being pregnant.

Love fest comes around and Don takes Coral to the festival, after a ton of damning signs, he proposes to her (and also swaps traits, Non-committal to Loyal).

Don realizes how much he loves being a father, Coral gives birth to triplets, Peregrine, Constance and Emmett, and while taking care of the newborns, Don has another self-discovery (became Family-oriented)

Coral begins a sub-plot where she tackles her self-esteem issues, specifically on how she's gained weight from all her pregnancies.

In the meantime, the triplets age up, Coral argues with Don about wanting attention, how they still haven’t gotten married, however he didn’t retaliate because he didn’t want Cataleya hearing them argue, and then Cataleya aged up.

(I changed the lifespan to normal at this point)

Coral finally loses enough weight to be happy with herself, but she wonders if she’s actually doing this for herself or for someone else…

The triplets age up to toddlers!

Don and Coral have an argument, they sit in silence for 10 minutes, then Don tells her what she needs to change about herself, and she reluctantly agrees

Cataleya ages up to a child- And Coral ended up pregnant AGAIN (don't remember/know how it happened)

Although she’s two pregnancies and four kids late, she finally goes to counseling for this unwanted pregnancy. She also decides to get her tubes tied.

The last gen 2 baby is born, Callum Meadows, who turns out to be an Albino.

Don and Coral finally get married (Don also invited Simon to the wedding 👀)

Peregrine begins his sub-plot where he fears failure and wants to be like his sisters, he starts locking himself in his room and doing homework and extra-credit work as much/often as possible. 

Coral and Don FINALLY age up to Adults, and Cataleya ages up to a teen.

Later on, Callum ages up to a child (I stopped caring about this kid when he aged up to an infant, so from here on, don’t expect much abt him at all)

When I watched the Dragon Prince S6 teaser, I had a feeling that they will redeem Claudia at the end of the season and I kind of don't want that to happen because I feel like she doesn't deserve it after what's happened so far.

If the do redeem her (which will most likely happen) the one to set her down the path NEEDS TO BE SOREN!!! NOT CALLUMM!!! Idc if Callum is her friend, she felt more betrayed when her own brother left her than when Callumm did. If Terry does it, that's fine because he is her boyfriend, but it would have more of an impact if it was Soren.

Here's what should happen:

Terry tries to find Soren & the others to tell them that Claudia's lost the plot and wants to hunt them down to get Aaravos. Claudia ends up seeing him and feels like he's betrayed her too and will fight them. Terry tells her that he didn't betray her nor Soren and have Soren be the one to break her down and realise that he still loves her and is deeply sorry for making her feel abandoned. Then, when she starts her redemption arc, have Rayla and the rest of them be hesitant around her and have Rayla believe that this is all an act like before.

This would be a good way to redeem her, but I really don't want it. She deserves to stay evil and either die or be imprisoned like Aaravos. That would be a great thing to do.

Oh and if the redemption does happen, it shouldn't be the final episode because then it'll just be rushed in S7 and that would be more anticlimatic that breaking up Raylumm in a FUCKING GRAPHIC NOVEL!!!

i just finished reading the atlas paradox and can i just say thank you so much. i've been in a bit (understatement of the century) of a reading slump for the past year and then i decided you know what fuck it i'm reading a book i know i'll love instead of trying new things and i picked up the atlas paradox. i think i've read it in two weeks (which is a record for the past year) and oh my god i missed this feeling. the book was incredible and i stayed up past midnight more than once because i was dying to see what happened next. so thank you so much for that experience

now onto less well phrased and more spoilery thanks: OH MY GOD THIS BOOK!! i just!!! my goodness it was incredible and while i ended the last book with certain opinions (was a bit of a callum hater i have to say) the events of t.a.p. managed to switch all of that around (and now i'm a mega callum fan). also the relationships!!! the whole tristan and callum love/hate/want-you-dead-but-not-really thing had me clutching my heart and needing to take a pause from reading because ahhhh my babies!! also nico and gideon. need i say more (i will because i love them too much not to. oh my god that final chapter!! i think i actually teared up tbh). libby's corruption arc did not disappoint (belen i'm so sorry you deserved better). reina's shift in alliances and her strange hatred for parisa was amazingly written and i love being in her brain it's so bizarre in there (in the best way). CALLUMM!! i adore him and his cynicism. parisa was so interesting -- i loved seeing more of the dalton situation. tristan is still one of my favourites i have to say (but maybe he's been knocked down to number two, which i think callum (my number one) would appreciate). oh and ezra. his povs were so interesting. and i loved that the book both started and ended with gideon! always had a bit of a soft spot for gideon tbh

basically there aren't enough words to describe how much i loved this book, so thanks again for writing it and inspiring me to not only read more but also to engage more in my own writing!

Oh I like it! And hadn’t thought of the George/Nicholas and Jack combi yet. 

Only thing is (I made the same mistake) I kind of wanted planned to write it with the 2021 grid and then it would make no sense to put Oscar with Daniel since the later wouldn’t be at Renault anymore and there wouldn’t be a connection besides them both being Aussies. Nor would it make sense to put Callum with Seb, since he’d be at Aston Martin. However I could see Charles completely freaking out after finding Callum as toddler and desperately calling Seb for help 🤔 So much to think about, but you helped a lot so thank you 😊
