All of this went through Nick's head in the eternal-feeling five seconds it took for Ray to successfully drag Sand back down onto his back and cheerfully wish him goodnight. Nick couldn't see Ray's face—didn't want to try, lest Sand continue to give him those huge, betrayed doe eyes—but he imagined there was a tiny, satisfied curl to his mouth because even if Sand refused to see it, Nick understood what Ray turning up at two in the morning in the middle of nowhere meant.

very much scared about wtf theyre gonna do in rebirth man….. all the fanservice shit in the demo/trailer is making me worried about if square enix is just gonna push to appealing to the fujo s*fik*ra fans…. and well. they probably are . a bit. the official playstation uk account on twitter made a tweet playing into that… which already irritated me but seeing the weird dialogue with sephiroth and cloud in the demo??? oh yeah its over. we are finished. This game will piss me off more than i thought it would 😭😭😭😭😭 auggghh i wish remake never existed its so useless . whatever

#genuinely cannot stand anything from remake #some of the things they do is done SOMEWHAT well sure #i think the way they did seph was pretty neat! even if weirdos ruined it #but theres a lot of glaring issues even with seph that i just… Cannot get behind #and the insert of just fanservice stuff over and over again is definitely a massive issue #yeah fanservice is guaranteed in stuff like this i know that #but sometimes it can get so bad it’ll just ruin everything. i just love how you do megumi justice. like from what we hear from others (oh my god he was such a menace. jumping out of vehicles? biting people? willing to summon his ace just to spite everyone? trying to electrocute his uncle?) he has so much fire in him. he’s such a little shit. i love him. i’m so tired of everyone portraying him as some emotionless bland character. the dudebros don’t know him the way i do 🙁.

i’m honestly just itching to see yuuta spill the beans on his attachment to megumi like…would gojo actually be willing to kick that kid ass. IF ANYTHING gojo should consider this a win. the son he birthed from his gojoussy (i was there. i was the one cutting the cord ofc shh) has a loyal protector.

but in all honesty i have so many theories. like about mai, she might pop out to get the books & shit for her nephew? who knowsss.

the answer to how my mind works is “not well.” imagine a waiting room where the staff are only in attendance for 30 minutes per day (it’s never the same 30 minutes) and there is a hamster inexplicably lose. there are fish tanks but they are empty ones. you do not know what the business is or why you are waiting. dont stop me now by queen is playing on endless loop

#you cannot convince me that baby Megumi was not completely feral #that’s a kid who bit people I’ll die on that hill #there is something about Mahoraga that convinces me that it’s just the ultimate act of reclaiming control for Megumi #fundamentally Megumi does not have control over his own life #from a very young age he was locked into a profession that /would/ kill him one day #and again and again he displays this almost suicidal decision to summon something /guaranteed/ to kill him whenever he thinks hes going down #megumi never got to decide his life but by god he has decided upon his death #I think a part of him has always felt doomed from the beginning and got a bit of solace in knowing he’d die on his terms #he would die but he would not die having been beaten #like I think you just CANNOT underestimate the twisted relief that can be gotten from controlling the way you die after you’ve spent your #entire life under the shadow of your own death sentence #of course this means that the Zenin took even that comfort from him #megumi thought he was going to die and it was going to be in a way that robbed him of the only control he ever had #there’s a unique helplessness in that #I think the fact that he couldn’t even die on his terms hurt him more deeply than almost anything the Zenin did to him #he spent his entire life knowing he had an ace that couldn’t be taken from him and they still managed it #the Zenin made him feel weak as a child when they were abusing him #they made him feel weak when they spent that week hurting him #and they took away the only thing that ever made him feel truly strong #he wanted to hurt them back and it was a tremendous loss to not even have that #sea glass gardens

Hey as a super introverted but not shy person I'd just like to say the jokes about extroverts "adopting" introverts to "get them out of their shell" are actually completely unfunny and it just goes to show how little respect a lot of y'all have for the fact that we genuinely don't want excessive social interaction and that y'all are forcing us to do something that brings us extreme physical and mental discomfort because you perceive our introversion as a failing rather than as purely a difference in personality.

We don't need your "help" to socialize. We're not children. We're simply not interested in spending every waking second of our lives talking to people and being talked at in return.

#again i scream from the rooftops that there is a monumental chasm between being shy and actually being an introvert #a shy person is someone who's afraid of social interaction. an extrovert can be naturally shy.#a shy person can WANT lots of social interaction but simply have not learned to feel comfortable in social situations.#people who are just very introverted simply have little desire or capacity for excessive human interaction.#we're not “afraid” of it. we just don't enjoy it and it wears us out.#you don't need to swoop in and save us because we can't handle ourselves. we're perfectly fine thank you #extroverts are constantly demanding that we get out of our comfort zones but few of you are willing to make the alternative more comfortabl #if you're a very extroverted person please do not take it upon yourself to jokingly “adopt” introverts you meet.#it's not funny and it's not helpful. it's irritating that you perceive our quietness and low social battery as something that needs “fixing #we won't miraculously learn to love and be comfortable with excessive human interaction. that's not how we're wired and that's OKAY #i'm honestly getting so sick of the “the lonely introvert and the extrovert who adopted them” memes #i can guarantee you that if you are an extrovert who operates this way then your introvert “friend” is actually probably very uncomfortable #and just don't want to say anything because they think it would be rude to bring up the fact that they don't want what you want from them #this does NOT mean extroverts and introverts cannot be friends nor am i saying all extroverts are annoying or that they all do this #i'm simply saying that if you are very extroverted and you have a friend who's very introverted #then it's on you to be aware of your introvert friend's limited social battery and STOP pressuring them to just “put up with it”#don't spend every second with them constantly talking. be willing to spend some time just in the quiet.#be willing to let them bow out of something if they're exhausted and are low on social energy.#don't expect them to want to come to every meeting or party or get-together because it WILL drain them completely.#be willing to let them spend time alone when they need to to recharge.#letting an introvert cool off and recharge when they need to is ALWAYS going to make social situations less stressful for them.#PLEAAAAASE take their feelings into account and understand that they do NOT perceive social interactions the way you do.#most very introverted people do not find socialization relaxing or invigorating. they don't do it to unwind #they have to unwind AFTER lots of social interaction #that's about it. thank you and good night

#the way people conceptualize ‘neurotypicals’ not as actual people but as factory-made blank-slate hyper-capitalist wet dreams of what human #beings are ‘naturally’ and buy into the pathologization of actually natural human behavior and variance in how we function #and so heavily defer to the authority of psych institutions and rigidly defined ideas of normality and divergence #for the sake of having clearly defined labels for a bizarre us v them. dumb as hell #you can say whatever you want in response this seems to be at least a kind of helpful worldview for a lot of people #but nothing i’ve seen about the way these terms get used in practice has made me feel anything but negative towards this framework #everybody needs an other to differentiate themselves from bc yknow identities often form along the lines of out groups in the language of #opposition and the ways that ‘nd’ so often gets flattened to just mean ‘autism and adhd’ and the amount of slap fights i’ve seen about who #gets to be included in the nd out group. to say nothing of these mythical ‘neurotypicals’ you’re supposedly talking about #because point at any person and i guarantee you they don’t match up to the capitalist construction of neurotypicality you have in your head #and then discussions of physical disability’s intersections n all. real fucking mess man #again if it helps you. w/e. i just cannot ever conceive of this being a particularly helpful way for me to view my brain and how i function
