while luigi is a lot more expressive and vocal, guido is definitely the more romantic one in the relationship. he always pulls out all the stops for every anniversary, valentine's day, birthday, and any other occasion thats special for them
one time, guido rebuilt the leaning tower of tires using some custom monster truck tires that spell out "TI AMO". luigi was hood over wheels/head over heels <3
The highlight of my year was to find out McQueen's little #1 fan has a name and a mom who also has a name and is pretty much alive. I love that kid, she's unconditionally supportive and you have no idea how important of a role it played in my heart
Also we all know Blade would fight a Karen and it would be the kind of spectacle to watch while eating popcorn
Ferrari 365 GTB/4 NART Spider, 1977 (1971), by Michelotti. Chassis no. #14299 left the Modena works in 1971 as a 365 "Daytona" and was delivered to a client in Greenwich, Connecticut. It was returned to Luigi Chinetti, Ferrari importer in the USA, in 1975. Chinetti sent the car, along with 2 other Daytonas, to Michelotti in Turin to be transformed into NART spiders. The other 2 cars we used for racing but #14299 was given as a present to Marion, Chinetti’s wife.
I told my mom to guess the names of some characters from cars, tumblr doesn't let me put more than 10 images so I chose the ones that made me laugh :')
I feel it’s easy to overlook this one fact about Luigi:
He is just as impulsive and full of crazy dreams as Mario.
Who was the one who (presumably) came up with the commercial jingle?
Who was the one that asked “What do they know huh?” in an attempt to cheer up Mario after their father’s comment about their business venture?
Who was the one who had the idea to use a manhole cover against Bowser’s fire breath (despite how dangerous that was)?
The difference between the two bros is that Luigi doesn’t outwardly display his impetuous behaviour as much as Mario does; which is evidenced by the way Mario gets most of the blame put on him by the family for the whole business venture (Mario is the one choosing to stick up for the decisions they made), and accused of “dragging his brother down” by his own father.
So I don’t want to hear people claim Luigi just 'follows Mario around' and can’t think for himself. He is a grown man, and can make his own decisions. Luigi in all fairness can strike out on his own if he chooses. The two of them are different people after all.
But they choose to work together because they really are one. They may have different personalities, but they have practically the same passions, the same dreams. They encourage each other to follow those dreams: and they know they can achieve it better together.
Colani Utah 8, 1989. Used by Luigi Colani to set several speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats Speedway. Standing 90cm high it was powered by a turbocharged BMW K100 flat-4 motorbike engine that produced 150hp and weighed only 550kg. The highly aerodynamic styling featured rear view mirrors on extended "stalks" that flowed out of the wheel arches.
