Reggie gradually wakes up from the dream and is at first not sure what woke him up. He blinks once, slowly, and lets his eyes close again: there is no light in the room, nothing to see, nothing to stop he slipping back into the whispers of the dream that still clung.
Strange dream. Nice. Lying on his back in a field of tall grass and a bright bird singing low to him as he sank into the dark earth. Sweet singing in his ear and soft, feathery touches on his bare skin…
And there, again, bringing him back wide awake. One touch. So light that he was hardly there; a brush of fingers against his stomach muscles, making him automatically clench in response. His fingers trace his abs like a whisper and it's only when they touch the top of his cock that Reggie realizes he's hard.
"...?!"
He makes no more of the exclamation than the first edge before there's a warm, lithe body rolling close to him and there's a whispered sshhh that's a mere puff of sound, a warm exhalation against his mouth that ends in just a buzz of feeling. on his lips when y/n leans in to kiss him.
Oh. Oh, soft, slow kisses that go on and on, one languid tangle of tongues and one press of lips moving into another. Sharing breath. Y/n gently licked the middle of Reggie's upper lip, Reggie curled he tongue around him to tickle Y/n's roof of the mouth. Lazy kisses that almost drag Reggie into his dreams until Y/n suddenly bites he lower lip; a sharp bite that jars his heart and he arches to roll them both under the blanket until he is up between Y/n's legs, pressing him down with a grunt, feeling Y/n's legs wrap around his hips of the.
Y/n's hands were still testing his skin, running up and down his back, his sides, his arms, cupping his face and pulling him down firmly for more kisses that Reggie wasn't even ready for. trying to avoid. And the kisses have lightened again, become shy and fleeting, with Y/n issuing little moans into Reggie's mouth for him to capture, swallow, and dip in for more.
And then Y/n's hands are on his arms again and they grab him and his nails dig in and he squeezes his thighs and grinds them; hard and dirty as alley fuck, making Reggie pull back to gasp down his throat and lean back to thrust down hard so his cock slides together just on the razor's edge. One, two thrusts like that and then Reggie props himself up on one elbow and reaches down with his other hand, engaging Y/n's hips so Reggie's dick slides between Y/n's legs and, on the next thrust, reaches the edge of his hole. .
There's a small ragged breath from Y/n that stops Reggie in his tracks. Too much there? Too fast? And so he stayed still until Y/n breathed in a moan and rotated he hips against him torturously slow; He moans and moans and rubs his hands over Reggie's back, his bottom to push him down further, deeper.
So Reggie moves again, presses back where Y/n is still a little loose, a little wet from when they fucked before bed. He pushes forward; tiny, tight circles of his hips as he moves forward, moving by millimeters, teasing them both with inching as Y/n opens up to him.
He's not wet enough for a smooth glide; hot flesh creeping and giving and clutching around him as Y/n gasps and deliberately clench around his dick and it feels like forever before he's fully inside, balls heavy against Y/n's soft ass, and by then Reggie is shaking with the strain of holding back but Y/n shaking too, gasping for air in little sobs, and she gasps and screams, a high-pitched scream, as Reggie pulls back to slide back in a long stroke.
Neither of them can control his breathing anymore, and his rhythm breaks and he stutters as they move; without wanting to separate, without wanting to stop doing it. feeling tight, full, and wrapped around and within each other.
The darkness presses on them, the heat accumulates between them under the sheets; sweating and sliding their movements, sliding them together faster and harder, deeper with each stroke. Y/n has his head thrown back, gasping for air, and Reggie buries his face into Y/n's neck, moans into his skin as he pushes.
Too good to last long, and then Y/n stiffens, blind-eyed and wide, not seeing in the dark, and lets out a small sound of surprise as it pulses wet against Reggie's stomach and Reggie pushes a one more time and hisses and bites Y/n's shoulder and flinches when he cums.
They stand still together for a long moment before moving, small tremors still shaking them both as their hearts slow to normal and their breathing eases. Then Reggie comes out with one last moan and rolls onto his back, maneuvering and manhandling a slow Y/n until he's pressed against his side, head on Reggie's chest and one leg on Reggie's hips. the.
Y/n's breathing is getting deeper and Reggie lets his hand slide to his boyfriend's ass, running a finger through his hole lightly; feeling the slip of his own release and hearing Y/n give a plaintive grunt before moving his hand again to rest on Y/n's hip.
He inhales deeply, releasing it with a sigh and letting Y/n's slow, sleepy breathing lull him back to his dreams.

I recently read an article in which Quentin Tarantino stated that fewer movie stars exist as a result of "Marvel movies in Hollywood." I think Jennifer Aniston made a similar argument before saying that there are no longer any movie stars. I'm not sure what that means. I can think of a lot of movie stars right now, such as Zendaya, Timothee Chalamet, and Zoey Deutch etc. what do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this and Quentin's comments.
QuillBot's
Months ago, when you sent me this ask, anon, I wrote out a really long reply and as soon as I hit post, my laptop crashed and ate the answer, and I was so annoyed at myself for not saving my reply, that I couldn't bring myself to try and re-write an answer. I'm really sorry for that, especially because I think this is such an interesting ask (or well, two asks, because I think the death of the movie star and the impact Marvel's had on the broader concept of a movie star, are kinda two different things).
I've been thinking about it a bit again recently though, particularly as the Oscar race gears up, and Jacob Elordi and Charles Melton''s respective stars are rising in an industry currently desperate to find the new young Hollywood male 'talent', and I've been thinking about it again because honestly?
I agree with Jennifer Aniston, I think the movie star is dead.
We are a long, long way from Golden Age Hollywood where actors like Cary Grant and Marilyn Monroe could captivate a public imagination in a way that translated to big box office effect, after all. Hell, we're even out of New Hollywood, an era dominated by names like Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson, and Jane Fonda, and the Blockbuster era with Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford.
My original reply went into a lot of the different reasoning as to why this is (like with many things, I don't think there's any one reason for it), in particular how the advent of streaming has changed our relationship with films and TV shows, how the saturation of the market has diluted the staying power of celebrities, how social media and the perceived accessibility of celebrities removes personal mystique which in turn removes intrigue and increases a sense of entitlement, and the fact that so many people having stopped going to the cinema means that the experiential element of seeing a film in a setting larger than life has been diminished.
I think call out culture plays a role too, with any actor on the rise being torn down by tweets they made eight, nine or ten years ago impacting how their star rises, I think the dismantling of the studio system (which is a good thing!) also harmed actors in the long run as studios stopped investing the same resources into making and training stars (they used to be able to sing, dance and act! Now some can barely even act!), and I think, of course, the rise of prestige TV changed the industry substantially (after all, movie stars were movie stars - they traditionally did not, and would not, do TV, which created a clear class structure in terms of screen-based storytelling).
And yeah, I think the language shift from film and TV to content has done irrepairable damage to the artistry of filmmaking and the consideration of a movie star as an actor at the top of their field instead of an actor with the most Insta followers or YouTube subscribers (after all, if everything's content, isn't it the same thing? [no lol]).
Which I guess is kind of where Quentin Tarantino's argument comes in, right? What he's saying is that Marvel's made it so that the IP - the content itself - is the star, not the actor, and I'd say he's probably right with that.
Think of it this way - back in the New Hollywood/Blockbuster era, Harrison Ford was the movie star - he was leading new franchises left-right-and-centre between Star Wars and Indiana Jones, sci fi epics like Blade Runner, leading action thrillers like Patriot Games, The Fugitive and Clear and Present Danger and getting nominated for Oscars for Witness.
He was a movie star in every sense of the word because you could hinge a film - one with a new concept, not just remakes or sequels - on him and be virtually guaranteed a success. He was what sold the tickets, the director just hopefully had to make something good enough people would leave the cinema glad they saw.
Tarantino's argument is the Marvel model - - hell, even the new Star Wars properties, turned the franchise into the star, for better or worse, which means original films can't compete because nobody knows the IP. Back when Harrison Ford was at the top of his game, his name was what helped original films including smaller, standalone works like Witness find an audience, but the studios have changed that. Capitalism has changed that.
Properties with existing audiences and deep pockets for merch were prioritised, only now those franchises are faltering and you've got a generation trained that 'cinematic events' are reserved for blockbusters in established universes, instead of taking a risk on a new film because you know you love an actor who's in it.
Do I think we could go back?
Maybe, but probably not.
I think the place we are now in the history of cinema / TV / 'content' means you can't make a movie star anymore because I think the industry is simply so different that no actor can break through in the same way that even Leonardo DiCaprio could 30 years ago. That industry doesn't exist anymore, actors aren't guaranteed draws (Bones and All proved that for Timothee Chalamet, and Wonka I think could go a similar way), or they have to heavily rely on other industries to become household names which I think dilutes them as a pure 'movie star' (Zendaya's a great example of this - I like her a lot, but how many movies has she even been in? They built her career up in peripheral industries long before they tried to sell her as a movie star, and frankly, I'd question her even as a leading actress yet given she's typically only either been in ensemble casts or clear supporting).
It's a whole new world, and yeah, I think the movie star is dead.

I’m a straight woman who thinks jimin may be gay/bi but totally independent of jikook or any ship. I don’t think any other members are queer actually but I also don’t follow them as closely as jimin. My oT7 real life army friends are also of this thinking but they are very not online and don’t even know about the jikook taekook stuff lol.
The way I see it, those PJMs who react aggressively to any jimin being queer talks are just overcorrecting for the jikooker stuff that they see is hurting jimin. Idk just my opinion.
I truly don’t care what jimin is I just love his gentleness and strength and kindness and wonderfulness and these qualities you rarely see in cis men, especially ones that rich and famous. He’s so special 🥺
I do ship him with wi hajoon and Charles melton in my head tho 😶‍🌫️
I got into BTS in mid 2017, and only started thinking there was something between jikook in late 2018- early 2019. But even before that, I already thought Jimin wasn't straight.
People who think more than two BTS members are queer are SO DELUSIONAL I CANT STRESS IT ENOUGHHHH. Sometimes I think even two is kind of a reach but it's still a sensible statistic. I actually don't think many idols are queer.
Even for Jungkook, the only reason shippers have to think he's gay is ships 😭 there's not much he does outside of skinship and other BTS related stuff that could be used as proof he's queer. I mean, in the real world. In the world of a kpop fan, wearing a crop top is peak queerness. They're an easy public.
Imagine if Jimin was the one watching and liking tiktoks of a girl showing her thong, or dming female dancers on Instagram, copying her choreography, or constantly interact with a girl group member the way Jungkook did with chaewon. The video inside his apartment, as well. And that's only talking about the recent stuff, because if we go way back there's years of actual evidence of Jungkook having close relationships with women that his same fans would use to shit on Jimin. Even jikookers would think Jimin liking a girl showing her thong was a red flag as to how he's straight. They believe Jimin saying wow during a hwasa performance was peak heterosexuality and bring it up every 3 business days. Makes you wonder why they don't do the same with Jungkook seemingly showing interest on women.
Yeah, a lot of pjms react to strongly because they can't look past the ship or because they don't want others to use "gay" as an insult towards Jimin. But that's not helping any matters.. being called gay never was and will never be an insult, no matter who or why they say it.
I don't care what he is, either. I just have a feeling and that's it. I've had the same feeling about other people all my life and I've always ended up being right lol.
Just a funny anecdote; I think Ashley Benson was my craziest case of impeccable gaydar. I watched the first season of pretty little liars when it came out. I was 14, and while watching the show and the interviews and all, I kept thinking Ashley wasn't straight. A million years ago by, and she ends up dating Cara Delevingne. It was crazy just because of how young I was, and I knew nothing of Ashley except for the show.
In 2019, I was watching an interview of the queer eye cast without knowing anything about them (because that's how I go about when I'm getting into something -trying to get to know it by myself), and while watching I couldn't stop thinking "this one's not gay, he's bi" about Antoni. A few weeks later, I found out Antoni had come out as bisexual.
But you won't see me talking about that stuff because I don't really go around telling people "I think this one's gay", I don't care like that; it's just thoughts that cross my mind, a feeling, a hunch or whatever. If I end up being wrong, it's not a big deal since I was never going to put my hand on the fire for any of it. I'm not scared of being wrong. That and... I know that Jimin is a real person. There's more to him than his sexuality, and it's not the reason I started liking him in the first place.
Yes, he's totally secretly dating wi hajoon and dated charles for like a month in the past. We all saw charles putting his arm on Jimin's back and that can mean only one thing in Korea.

I have a bunch of connections for my muses over at @coloradohq that I’d love to see filled. So, I’ll just leave them here below the cut if anyone is interested.
MALACHI DUBOIS is looking for HIS EX/THE ONE WHO GOT AWAY. they’d like the faceclaim to possibly be someone along the lines of UTP (suggestions include Ilhan Sen, Kendrick Sampson, Daniel Henney, Dylan Bruce, Li BingBing, Aishwarya Rai), but you can reach out to OFWISHFULTHINKINGto find out more! (+ as a note, this connection is incredibly open for interpretation. I’m simply imagining a lot of pining and unresolved feelings. Malachi hasn’t had many serious relationships in his lifetime. He’s shied away from them for a variety of reasons, one of which is his PTSD. I imagine that this is someone he dated after returning stateside and for whatever reason, they ended things. It’s been some time, but Malachi still wonders about the what ifs!)
MALACHI DUBOIS is looking for THEIR MILITARY BUDS. they’d like the faceclaim to possibly be someone along the lines of UTP, but you must reach out to OFWISHFULTHINKING to find out more! (+ Mal’s been out of the military for nearly two decades now due to a medical discharge (info in his intro post), but he still attends groups at the VA and keeps up with his military buds. Once a month, they all get together to have some drinks and shoot some pool. I’m imagining some casual friendships. I’d also like if one of them was more of a close friend – maybe they work out together every day – someone Mal can confide in, who uniquely understands his circumstances and helps him with managing his PTSD!)
LEILA ATTAR is looking for THEIR COWORKERS AT AMBROSIA LOUNGE. they’d like the faceclaim to possibly be someone along the lines of UTP, but you must reach out to OFWISHFULTHINKING to find out more! (+ Ambrosia is a gentleman’s club. So, there’s space for bartenders, dancers, waitstaff, security, etc. I imagine that the staff is relatively close since they work together frequently, but as with any job, there may be tensions and/or rivalries there. Maybe even secret romances. It’s really all up for plotting!)
LEILA ATTAR is looking for HER EX FIANCE. they’d like the faceclaim to possibly be someone along the lines of Oliver Stark, Alejandro Speitzer, Ilhan Sen, Zeeko Zaki, Oliver Jackson-Cohen or Aaron Taylor Johnson, but you can reach out to OFWISHFULTHINKING to find out more! (+ two weeks ago, Leila and her fiancé were supposed to get married. They’d been together for a while and were seemingly desperately in love, but on the day of the wedding, she had a change of heart, and left him standing at the altar. I imagine that he’s not too happy about that and is probably looking for an explanation. We can plot the details of their relationship together!)
LEILA ATTAR is looking for HER BEST FRIEND. they’d like the faceclaim to possibly be someone along the lines of UTP (suggestions: Drew Ray Tanner, Devery Jacobs, Danny Ramirez, Brandon Perea, Charles Melton, Kiana Lede, Kiana Madeira, Zion Moreno), but you can reach out to OFWISHFULTHINKING to find out more! (+ They met during their modeling days and have been close ever since. Obviously, like any other friendship, they’ve had their ups and downs, but Leila considers this person to be her person, the one person she trusts most in the entire world, and she’ll need them even more than even now that her relationship has fallen apart!)
MALACHI DUBOIS is looking for their EMPLOYEES (2). they’d like the faceclaim to possibly be someone along the lines of ANY FC but you can reach out to OFWISHFULTHINKING to find out more! (+ Malachi owns a gym. So, this connection is really open to anyone who’d work there – personal trainers (boxing instructors, Zumba instructors), nutritionists, PTs, janitors, etc.!)
EDGAR YANG is looking for BUSINESS PARTNER. they’d like the faceclaim to possibly be someone along the lines of UTP, but you can reach out to ofwishfulthinking to find out more! (+ Since his marriage fell apart, Edgar has realized that he’d devoted too much time to the business to the detriment of his personal life. As such, h’s taken a step back from the business and is attempting to have a better work/life balance. Edgar views his business partner as a life saver as they’ve really taken the reins on a lot of newer projects and have allowed him to spend more time away!)
LEILA ATTAR is looking for HER FREQUENT PATRON. they’d like the faceclaim to possibly be someone along the lines of UTP (35+), but you can reach out to OFWISHFULTHINKING to find out more! (+ A well known face at Ambrosia Lounge, they come to see Leila dance on a nearly weekly basis. They’ve got a comfortable sort of working relationship - they check in on her, and always leave a big tip. Leila is fond of them.!)

curious as to your thoughts on the may december discourse (some spoilers i guess) - vili has come out and essentially said that he felt the film contributed to his victimization and hurt him. and the response from a lot of film twitter seems to be to yell ITS NOT A BIOPIC and to say he doesnt understand the film (gross). i feel like i dont really care if its a biopic or not, when the film literally quoted vili/mary kay, recreated the mary kay in prison photo exactly, and both charles melton and julianne moore studied vili/mary kay for their performances. to hand wave that all as "not a biopic" feels like a way of writing off any discomfort. i feel like the film should not have made those specific choices, but having done so they had a duty of care to vili. i dont think the film that ended up getting made is worth the continued trauma to vili even if it is art. there were other ways they could have told the story to minimize the harm and they chose not to - and i dont think that choice is a great commentary on tabloids or whatever, its just a ghoulish thing to do
I did see that, anon, and I do have thoughts on it as it's a real grey area in terms of creative license, art and storytelling, and it's a grey area that's been around really since storytelling existed, but before I get into that I just want to quickly clarify what Vili said, because I do think it's important.
Vili didn't say that the film contributed to his victimisation and hurt him, he said the film offended him because it was a ripoff:
“I’m still alive and well,” says Fualaau, now 40 and still living in the Seattle area, where the scandal unfolded. “If they had reached out to me, we could have worked together on a masterpiece. Instead, they chose to do a ripoff of my original story. “I’m offended by the entire project and the lack of respect given to me — who lived through a real story and is still living it,” he adds.
“I love movies — good movies,” he says. “And I admire ones that capture the essence and complications of real-life events. You know, movies that allow you to see or realize something new every time you watch them. “Those kinds of writers and directors — someone who can do that — would be perfect to work with, because my story is not nearly as simple as this movie [portrays],” Fualaau adds.
The reason I think this distinction is an important one to make is because in interviews since Mary Kay Letourneau passing, it's pretty clear that Vili - while absolutely being a victim-survivor - doesn't see himself that way, and even says pretty specifically in his Doctor Oz interview from 2020 that he doesn't see her as a predator or himself as having been preyed on ('there was no perversion...she was my wife and my best friend' are his exact words), and he's pretty clearly open to the idea of a film being made about his story.
I'm not saying this to diminish his feelings about May December at all (I strongly believe that Vili is entitled to feel any and every which way about the film) or to patronise his own understanding of what he experienced - I can't even begin to imagine the complexity of trying to unpack the life he shared with her - but I think it's important to reflect his feelings accurately and to provide a little context to those feelings.
With that said, do I think the creative team should've reached out to Vili before making the film?
Honestly, I don't know.
I think it's one of those questions in art where there's not really a right answer. If Vili's feelings towards Mary Kay are still lost in the silver linings of her grooming, any film that has his direct approval or involvement is going to run the risk of tacit endorsement. It also hamstrings the creative team and opens them up in terms of liability (I actually was a writers assistant on a TV show a million years ago that was sort of a bio pic and I can tell you for a fact that it was a disaster once the person it was based on got involved), and, of course, it runs the risk of shifting the focus of the story the writer is wanting to tell.
And that's the thing about art, right? By design, art is supposed to reflect us back to ourselves in ways that we might not always be comfortable with. Of course, that usually happens less literally than in how Todd Haynes has used Vili and Mary Kay's stories, but not always. Todd Haynes is certainly no stranger to the technique given Velvet Goldmine is pretty transparently inspired by David Bowie and I'm Not There is often confused as a Bob Dylan bio pic despite the fact that it's actually not.
Hell, everyone loves that Succession points a pretty clear finger to the Murdoch's, and while, of course, the Murdoch's - and Bowie and Dylan for that matter - have social, political and economic power that Vili doesn't which does impact the ethics of the decision, it's still made under the same creative ideology that aspects of a real story can render an artwork, a story, a film more emotionally authentic, can create greater resonance, can offer a sharper reflection of the world we live in and offer, perhaps, a message or a question that lingers.
All of this has actually kind of been funny timing as I just finished reading Sarah Weinman's The Real Lolita the other day which is a really excellent blend of true crime, literary history and critical commentary on this exact topic. The book explores the real life case of Sally Horner who was kidnapped by a pedophile in 1948 when she was 11 years old and was forced to roadtrip with him around America for two years. It's actually mentioned in passing in Nabokov's Lolita, but once you go a little deeper it's pretty clear how much of Horner and her story Nabokov used to create Dolores Haze / Lolita.
In the book, Weinnman asks the question as to why Lolita gets to be remembered when Sally's been left to obscurity, and of course, the answer is that there are other Sally's in the news cycle, but only one Lolita in art, and that hopefully in her writing Sally Horner's story she can write her back into bookshelves and place her back into this artwork but who knows if that's what Sally would've wanted (Sarah does, at least, talk to Sally's lone surviving family member, and makes a measure to show that it's very unlikely Nabokov ever did the same).
Was Nabokov wrong for not seeking out Sally's family for Lolita? Honestly, I doubt it even would've occured to him to do so, and the fact that we do now ask questions like this about the ethics of inspiration is, I think, a good thing. We should be critical of how stories are told and who is, and isn't, involved in the telling of them, but again, I don't actually think there are right or wrong answers here.
Fiction is always inspired by real people, real events, real life, it's a part of creation, it's a part of capturing a moment in time, it's about reflection and authenticity, but of course that's been rendered more complex in recent years by the fact that we live in a world that's ever shrinking and the people or the events that inspire new stories are inevitably brought into the public narrative in a way they just weren't back in 1955 when Lolita was first published.
So what does that mean for creativity and inspiration? I don't know, but personally I guess my thoughts would be that Vili is absolutely in his rights to be offended by the film, but I also don't think the filmmakers were wrong necessarily to not reach out. It's not the most ethical choice, but I also don't think it was an inherently bad one either. This isn't a Blonde situation where they write fiction and present it as fact, the creatives have been clear about it being inspried by what happened between Mary Kay and Vili, but they're also not saying Vili and Mary Kay are Joe and Gracie.
I appreciate you feeling like it's much of a muchness though given how they've apparently lifted entire scenes of dialogue. It's a murky question after all, and it's certainly one that's more complex when it comes to people like Vili and Sally than it is with the Murdoch's or even David Bowie, but yes, I'm not sure I see it as something inherently wrong, and I don't personally think it was ghoulish. I just think the specifics of this particular case just kind of shows how the sausage is made when it comes to storytelling.

Gosh I know I’m SO late to the party but I started Blood and Ash on a whim and am now in the middle of crown of gilded bones. I’m enjoying it and already have fancasted in my mind for Poppy and Casteel. When I have time I really want to draw them using these actors as reference so others can see “the vision™️”. These choices are entirely based of my personal interpretation and who I thought fit my imagination the most. I thought of Erin Kellyman and Charles Melton! I’ve only seen Erin’s roles in star wars, and captain America, but each time she’s a determined badass. I’ve never seen Charles in anything but l o o k at him. Very excited to make fan art , stay tuned 👁️👄👁️

Plot 📝: “The Sun is also a Star” by Nicola Yoon follows Natasha, an undocumented Jamaican immigrant facing deportation, and Daniel, a Korean American high school senior. The two navigate personal and cultural struggles while learning more about each other, with only a day to connect before Natasha must leave the country. The story provides a social commentary on issues regarding immigration and family dynamics, and it is both romantic and realistic, highlighting themes such as destiny and choice.
Movie 🎥 (2019): The two main characters, played by Yara Shahidi and Charles Melton, have great chemistry. The movie offers a visually appealing adaptation of the book, featuring an authentic imagery of New York City and the social dynamics portrayed through different settings and environments. Visually, the movie was very spot-on to what I had imagined while reading the novel.
Book 📚 (2016): The book dives deeper into the story with a unique narrative structure. Told from multiple perspectives, including those of Daniel, Natasha, and different secondary characters, it offers a unique narrative style worth reading. With Nicola Yoon’s engaging writing style, I was immediately pulled into the story, as was able to explore emotions and thoughts from multiple perspectives.
Overall, the book and the movie successfully portray the themes and messages of the story, each in their own way. While the movie is a visual representation, the book offers an additional layer of depth and description that readers can only gain from Yoon’s distinctive writing style. If you loved the movie and haven’t yet read “The Sun is also a Star,” I highly encourage you to pick up the book—you might find you enjoy it even more!

(wc and norah have been best friends since grade school. he’s always supported her and at some point moved in with her after high school (or college) to help her with the kids. he’s more of a father figure to them than their actual dad. if the chemistry is right, i’m all for a friends to lovers, it’s always been you sort of situation!)

(indy is technically the eldest/first born, but only by a few minutes (they are both 32). indy and all their siblings are named after colors (sage, ruby, amber, hazel, grey, etc so wc should be named similarly. indy and their siblings were raised in a hippie commune, as indy got older they disagreed with what was going on and found their aunt and made a plan to run away without telling anyone. shortly after, indy made a plan to get their siblings as well, whether wc wanted to leave or not can be utp. they all lived with their aunt. insty stayed in hemlock springs but what wc has been up to since can be utp, I’m happy to discuss! overall i imagine they’re very close, even if they butt heads at times.)

(indy (and later their siblings) came to live with wc after escaping a commune. wc would be the sibling off one of indy’s parents and never got into the lifestyle indy’s parents did, but were aware of them living in the commune, etc. wc wouldn’t have had any contact with indy or their family until indy tracked them down and made the plan to run away. i imagine them to be maternal and loving, kind of the mother indy never had. whether they have kids of their own as well is utp, there’s lots of room to expand!)

(indy and wc were best friends in the commune they grew up in. at some points, those feelings developed more and the two were in love. when indy made plans to leave, they begged wc to leave with them, but wc said no (due to fear, someone changed their mind - reason can be utp). in the years since, indy has always had them in the back of their mind and has wondered what happened to them. how/why they ended up in hemlock springs now can be utp, but i imagine their reunion to be very emotional!)
