I literally care more about ha-eon and choran than the main couple I'm sorryyyy like yes omg male leads it's so hardddd pining over a guy (woman) who doesn't know or care about your feelings. anyway (tosses them aside) ha-eon literally threw himself off a cliff and choran caught him immediately. they've both lived hundreds of years and lost countless loved ones; ha-eon is passively suicidal and constantly questioning the purpose of living for a thousand years, but choran only lives day by day solely because of the people who believed in him. they're so fundamentally different and don't understand each other...... but they've been companions this whole time.....

hi!

while im reading tour fics (specialy the wkfa series) i wonder if you have one ship you like for chovy? and if you have any hc for them? i would love to hear your thoughts about this bc the way you write his character, specially in the msi fic, is really captivating for me

First, thanks so much for reading my stuff - hope you're enjoying it :)

To answer the question of whether there's one ship I like for Chovy in the simplest way possible: nope!

In general and especially in the We Keep Falling Apart universe, I hc that Chovy is far more focused on his career than his love life for right now, and therefore relationships are not a priority for him atm. Later in life? Sure, maybe. I honestly don't even have strong opinions on his sexuality - is he ace? gay? bi? Idk. I think even he doesn't know for certain. He'll figure it out and explore more later. Right now, he's got trophies to win.

Now, on a more personal level, even though I don't have an OTP for Chovy, I've shown preference for certain Chovy ships over others. For instance, there are a few talented writers out there - *cough* sightstone *splutter* oathsworn *wheeze* gwenisimmune WHOO sorry it's dusty in here - who have gotten me intrigued about maolan aka choran (Chovy x Doran), so if I had to pick a favorite Chovy ship, that would probably be it?

I also know that I wrote choker as a side ship for Summoner Id, but to be fully honest that was only for the plot (Ruler bribing Chovy with swapped sleeping arrangements, Faker asking Ruler for love advice, etc). I'm not a huge fan of the ship on its own, mostly because I'm still an aro-ace Lee Sanghyuk truther. To each their own, though, so if you like that ship, good for you and there's no shortage of content for them that you can enjoy :)

Finally, a few Chovy rarepairs that I'm decently fond of:

I think cancho (Canyon x Chovy) is actually really sweet from how they interact on stream. Poor ShowMei, though - that ship really would be from the timeline where Canyon dumped him for a shiny new midlaner :(

I also think that chohends (Chovy x Everyone's Favorite Slut Support) has potential, although I do prefer them as strictly platonic besties, especially in the WKFA universe - that version of Siwoo has a strict no-midlaners policy. But they certainly have a lot of skinship and shenanigans so it's worth considering.

I offer the most general considerations on this issue. To the mystic prince fandom

The 29 July of this years will be the second aniversary of my first mystic prince fanfic and first mystic prince fanfic on AO3.

And i kinda want to celebrate it.

So i was thinking that since we are now a small amy of mystic prince lover we could have a mystic prince week starting the 29/07 and ending the 04/08.

Art, fanfic, edit and any medium you can think of will be allowed and welcomed. The same goes for any ship you can think of.

In honor of Ace Awareness Week, I would like to share a story from my Chrono Trigger AU.

A Fine Home

Truce, Guardia 600AG (three weeks since Glenn’s return)

Glenn stood at the edge of the property with Edgar. A cobblestone wall lined the property and a small field lay before him with a small manor by the forest and seaside cliff. A land and cliffside he already knew. Clearly the house had been rebuilt at some point in the future but he knew that centuries down the way, Gina and Crono would call this land home.

“This was all Cyrus’s?” he asked quietly. “I mean, what about his kin?”

“The king thought it should go to you, considering things,” Edgar replied. “As for Cyrus… He was Lord Ashfall’s only living heir, the bloodline of the Ashfall’s died in the war and Cyrus, as his legal and only recognized heir, had no one. No widow nor children… No one of any sort to claim the property.”

“How could he have not had anyone? In the entire decade I was exiled… Cyrus never wed?” Glenn asked, honestly stunned. He had always thought it was odd how aloof Cyrus had been about courtship but he had been so sure that Cyrus would have wanted a family of his own. He had loved his parents and siblings so deeply.

Edgar shrugged and led the way to the house. “All the years I knew him, Cyrus never pursued or acknowledged the courtship of any women. Plenty were fond of him but he shrugged off all of it, claiming the war was more important at the time.”

“So the Ashfall line ended with him,” Edgar concluded. Arriving at the door, he changed the subject, “The house is a fine size for starting a family.”

“I suppose it is,” Glenn nodded. He didn’t know what else to say and while it felt wrong to claim Cyrus’s property, Glenn didn’t want to offend the king. He followed Edgar inside to inspect the house.

It was a fine house as Edgar had noted. However, it was also so… empty feeling. The décor was minimal. The Ashfall banner hung over the fireplace mantle and there was a ceremonial suit of armor on a mannequin. A weapon rack stood nearby collecting dust.

Glenn quietly walked around the main room, peeked in the kitchen and eventually went up the stairs. On the upper floor were three rooms down a small corridor. Glenn walked down to the door at the very end of the hall and opened up the door. A bedroom with a wardrobe and a desk stood beyond the threshold.

There was a bouquet of dried white Chrysanthemums laying on the top of the desk but as Glenn got closer, he saw there were six pieces of paper meticulously folded into the shape of butterflies, arranged carefully around the small bouquet. Even after all these decades Glenn still recognized the white flowers and paper butterflies as a Choran tradition of mourning. It was clear to Glenn that Cyrus had still been mourning the loss of his family members and kept a small shrine of sorts for them in secret.

“So, what do you think?” Edgar asked from the doorway, apparently unaware of the significance of the papers and flowers upon Cyrus’s desk.

“It’s a fine house, as you said,” Glenn replied. “Bea will love it.”

Edgar nodded. “I’ll go inform the king that you’ll take the land then.”

Glenn nodded and told Edgar he’d see him at the castle later. After Edgar departed, Glenn lingered at the desk. He carefully picked up a piece of square parchment off the dusty pile. Carefully, Glenn started to fold the piece of paper in his hands

It had been ages since he had done any Choran paper-folding but his fingers mostly remembered the way to crease the paper although his prosthetic made the job a bit tricky. Soon, he had a paper butterfly in his hands, a bit crumpled but a butterfly nonetheless. Setting it down with the other six butterflies, Glenn offered a silent prayer for his fallen friend, hoping Cyrus’s soul had found its way to his family. He silently promised Cyrus that he would take care of the house and keep his memory as long as he could.
