Now Storm has asthma, this household seems to be having a streak of rotten luck lately...well it's rotten for me as the gameplay gets harder!

Arian is dreading the day that Flint ages up, she wants another baby so badly but there is no room right now. Maybe when Scarlet and Mellow become elders and we complete generation rose? She might be too old by then! In the meantime, she's just enjoying every second of Flint's infant stage.

Dijon has decided to put a mobile on Flint's crib to play lullabies, it's only taken him a whole five sim days but hey!

Anyway, Cinder is the baby of the family. Last hatched and last born, and its sorta ironic that he goes as male since Ash's oldest and youngest are boys and the middle children are girls. Sweet sweet irony /jk

I’ve only seen the first two episodes of dragons rising season two and so far Lloyd has collapsed from exhaustion, had panic attacks, and experienced a dissociative episode. Even the show knows this boy is traumatized beyond belief at this point.

Btw this is what i was doing in the live!! working on a comic for abit of lore :) | Since its mostly consists of furry ocs/non UT ill avoid posting alot of it here since i know that.. 8/10th of my followers are UTMV !! All chars shown are my OCs!! They are not free to use as pfp, rp, or posted on forums. For those who dont know; Cinder is a self defence trainer. He specializes in helping people within the city he lives in protect themselves from harm; In this world there are villains, but extreme few hero's since.. The world isnt based on hero's/villains. Its based on the organic right and wrongs but with more volume added to what they do. He is one of few "hero's" called Champions, they are forms of deities who were mistreated in a past life and their lives ended briefly for the gain of vein people as sacrifices, therefore given a life as an immortal until killed. He is one of the final few who can be seen. Served to mainly protect, the place Cinder works at trains those protect themselves and others, and helps teach people that not everyone can be trusted, no, but everyone does deserve some form of mercy until proven otherwise. However, not all students take their teaching to heart and use it for the greater good. Others just dont really care; To explain the point of the training since its abit janky, Cinder's "school" holds a school to teach both students for typical lessons, but the training course is a type of optional add on, where people can sign up to participate and be chosen at some time within the school year to train. If they decide to stay in the course they are allowed to move forward and continue until they graduate, the inspired source of this is My Hero, with a sprinkle of another Anime i enjoy called Tiger & Bunny, which is the main inspiration for Cinder's combat suit :) The layout of the training course consists of a tiny village, few buildings both tall and small, surrounded by thick woods, all while the school itself is heavily protected by a unseen force. In this village also holds smaller training courses, like rocks to climb or throw, pits to both purposely fall in or hidden to accidently fall in, and more such as.... Atleast 100 "fake" Gutsy's to train with and use as people.

Scarlet and Mellow cuddle in and enjoy the warmth of one another while the rest of the house is less than calm...

A mixed bag here for Cindy, she's just had a nice happy dream about a friend named Lucas who sounds lovely except for the fact that he's a raccoon. But she's also developed a fear of the dark!

All three kiddos have woken up and are all going through their own traumas! Storm thinks there's something under his bed!

Sterling is feeling better apparently despite still looking like death and deciding to do the dishes in the middle of the night even though the maid will be there in a matter of hours!

So they all team up and head over to granny and grandpa's room to calmly request that someone spray the monsters that have accumulated under the beds...thanks for the mass panic Storm!

Grandpa Mellow obliges, leaving the warm arms of his beloved to spray a non existent monster under Storm's bed!

And we have a situation with the baby!

Watched the first episode of Ninjago DR S2

Hi there, as an epileptic person I’m so happy to see your changes to Shadowsight’s character (I was SO disappointed that they removed his seizures!) and that you have a whole section dedicated to it in the medicines overview! It means so much to me to have such genuine representation. The only little note I have is that the technical term for a grand-mal seizure is “tonic-clonic,” not clonic-tonic! Other than that you have some really great and well-researched information ^^

Oh shoot, I didn't realize the order was important! Can you tell me why it should be tonic-clonic and spelling it as clonic-tonic should be avoided, so I can share?

With Shadowsight and Sorreltail, I did my research by looking at educational not-for-profits and trying to make sure to listen to firsthand accounts of what it's like to have it, so that the portrayal was more based in life than medical journals. I'm pretty sure I have an old post floating around somewhere with a bunch of sources and links, in addition to the herb guide you saw.

It really is such a shame they did that with Shadowsight specifically :/ you're not the first to pass through thanking me for putting his epilepsy back. I was recently revisiting the earlier books of TBC to answer an ask (ballooned into an essay) and, man, seeing all the setup, with what I know now, utterly wasted is just devastating.

What I mean is, in Book 1, they're describing his auras from his perspective and how there IS a difference between his seizure-visions and his Ashfur-visions. They're establishing that he DID always have epilepsy, it's just ASHFUR that's new. That was a MAJOR hint that something was wrong! The epilepsy was always part of him, but the possessions weren't!

But then, in Book 4, the team unceremoniously decides that no, it was Ashfur all along. Even the seizures. GoodBYE epilepsy! It was literally just a magic spirit.

Though the "seizures give visions" trope is a bit problematic on its own (like "Blind Seer"), I feel like it's even worse to set up representation, and then just yank it away midway through an arc. Like they couldn't just have him lose the visions but keep the seizures.

Frustrating. But, well, this is MY kitchen and I get to decide the disability rep.
