has anyone else noticed that everyone lost their first "love" (quotation cause some of the following relationships had shitty development)

Abby lost Jake

Octavia lost Atom

Clarke and Raven lost Finn

Jasper lost Maya

Bellamy lost Gina

Lexa lost Costia (assuming she was her lover, don't remember if it was specified)

Luna lost Derrick (I think that was his name and assuming he was her first love for purposes)

Miller lost Bryan

Monty lost Harper

Jordan lost Priya

Gabriel lost Josephine

Echo lost Bellamy (or the real Echo, maybe. either way)

Everyone except Murphy (and well Jackson but eh). (okay technically she did die but he brought her so it doesn't really count) Like they fucked up his whole psyche, but they didn't take Emori. Why is he the only one who got any mercy?

Like they were merciless with everyone. Clarke lost all of her lovers in some way (Niylah betrayed her), both her parents, her best friend TWICE, and her daughter (not even to mention all the shit she went through to survive/save her people and all the hate she got for it, you don't gotta like the character just respect her ruthlessness). They made Bellamy a sheep (multiple times *cough* fucking Pike *cough*) and made his whole death pointless cause he was right and Madi gave herself up like immediately after (so fucking mad you don't even know). Raven lost her childhood best friend/lover after he cheated on her (her childhood for fucks sake), her leg, ALIE (that was bad in general but damn), had to stop her own heart to survive, and then Shaw. Jasper went through it before he took himself out. Monty was hated by his best friend (just the Mount Weather incident), forced to kill his mom twice, watched his best friend die, sent his son into danger, watched Harper die, and never saw anyone he loved again (hell, whether he died of old age or not is still up in the air, they never found a body). They threw sweet Jordan into a horror show by the scruff of his neck. Echo had a childhood for sure. Gabriel had lifetimes of fuckery. The fucking disservice to Lexa (and Lincoln) by having her be shot. Luna killed her own brother and lover then watched her entire clan die. Miller lost his dad and was in the bunker... Abby got her husband killed, the bunker, Kane, and then was just erased (POOF bye bitch👋 wtf). And Octavia (need I say more? I will tho). Raised under the floor, imprisoned for being born, mom dead, dad who?, Atom, Lincoln, Ilian, you are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru, cannibalism, watched her first kinda child die (Ethan), banished by her own brother, lost time with Hope, and lost Diyoza.

And Murphy went through it too. Like BADLY but he never had to live without Emori.

Summary: AO3 Summary: Twenty years ago, the small Southern town of Arkadia experienced a tragedy: the murder of Jake Griffin by his wife, Mayor Abby Griffin.

Sixteen months ago, another tragedy: a ritual murder at the Griffin house.

Fourteen months ago, a third: the drowning of two young men out at the river.

Bellamy Blake has a connection to all three. On the night before Halloween, a chance meeting with a stranger at a bar leads him to a crisis of identity and faith. As he tries to overcome his demons once and for all, his friends plan a solemn, celebratory event for Halloween night.

i love shipping/wishing two characters were friends after they either had one conversation, looked at each other blankly ONE TIME or never even met. it’s all in my head and i get to make my own canon, but then i rewatch the show/movie and just get so disappointed when i realise none of it ever happened.

like, what do you mean octaven had one interaction in s1, minty never happened, fox and harper weren’t dating, bellamy and murphy were “just friends”, emori and raven weren’t space gfs after the time skip, niylah literally called octavia the sun and then stayed friends, and clarke and gaia literally raised a child together and had a domestic dinner scene for nothing to happen??????

i don't understand why t100 s5 is so unpopular in fandom because imo it was easily the best written season of the entire series??? i mean

everyone's six year glowup was fantastic. all the characters looked really attractive. clarke, kabby (their whole aging gray hair thing was hot even if they became totally unbearable hypocrites), octavia, diyoza and mccreary, spacekru... also BELLAMY'S BEARD???? hello that was awesome he truly leaned into his Cheer Dad personality

becho was one of the sweetest and healthiest relationships. lack of flashback/spacekru centric ep aside (my only complaint about s5 tbh), they got through their past differences together, in an environment where they weren't in any significant danger or participated in opposite sides of a war (which lbr was the only reason their dynamic was "unhealthy" in the first place), and they were able to prioritize their mental health and become real friends who shared things about themselves

bloodreina and diyoza were the best villains ever??? their ice cold bad bitches personalities were so fascinating to watch onscreen. i get that octavia is unpopular because of her treatment of bell in s5 but as a character she totally POPPED (also wonkru's whole blood cult thing and eligius being full of sociopathic war criminals was great entertainment material, and part of what made my s5 watching experience so enjoyable)

spacekru slowly becoming fond of each other and transitioning into a found family over their six years together offscreen was amazing. their affection and loyalty towards each other was so heartwarming, they never cared about the war, or eligius vs octavia, only being reunited and spending time in each other's company. plus the group's banter/chemistry, the memori breakup + resulting angst/raven & emori friendship, bellamy being murphy's Big Brother/bullying murphy into recognizing his self worth/respecting and valuing murphy's input to the discussion (just murphamy's developed friendship in general), marper being involved in the memori breakup because they care about their friends' happiness, the echo/monty hug and echo/murphy friendship, emori comforting echo, bellamy refusing to leave raven behind, were also total highlights of the season

k*bby betraying octavia immediately when given the chance and leaving her to deal with the consequences of the cannibalistic blood cult, abby torturing raven (a girl she dared to call "daughter) for the sake of an addiction she couldn't control....... they finally revealed their true colors and it was glorious (and kinda sad because i could not stand them as characters anymore, although at least they remained consistent in their hypocrisy)

cl*rke torturing her own friends to "protect" the daughter she placed a shock collar on (and being called out by the narrative for it/not being handed blanket forgiveness) was absolutely amazing

mccreary and abby/diyoza (even kane) had ridiculous amounts of sexual tension, it was absurdly hot

i love vincent, that cannibalist freak. he's like a feral rabid pet and it was adorable (also he put kane's life in danger which was hilarious, in the sense that it served as abby's punishment)

the aesthetic appeal of wonkru and their hunger games style feeding ritual, octavia's tyranny, it was positively fucked up :D i also loved echo's arc as a "spy," subverting her inital role in the series (something that brought her so much vitriol from fandom) and using it for a positive purpose

it was horrifying and gruesome and violent which automatically gives it five stars in my book 😌

murphy my favourite plot armour cockroach there is nothing that man won't survive he is the stubbornest creature on earth and surrounding planets. but also he looks at emori with stars in his eyes and makes stupid little jokes to clarke and raven

pike basically dealing with thelonius by going "okay go preach god as long as it doesn't cause any problems" and then thelonius immediately goes and causes god-influenced problems

clarke and finn a girl and a wishing star (she's on the ground and he's still up there somewhere perfect and burning) // clarke and bellamy two sides of a continually flipping coin (i will lead you i will follow you i will stand beside you i will stand behind you i will stand against you and then i will come back) // clarke and lexa the moon and the sun (your light comes from mine you fall as i rise you pull the tide while i pull life)

3 months ago I was on season 4 of the 100 and Now I quit in season 6. Idk what it is but I cannot move forward with season 6, the vibe doesn’t feel right and I feel like the story got really boring. I unfortunately know how the show ends with our…sorta clexa endgame. But I will do a little review and go from there

Season 1 was a good season and ngl a comfort season if you will. Getting to know our characters and what not

Season 2 was a holy fuck stressful season itself with so much that had happened. Bellamy carried that season on his back like a champ he was by far my favorite of the season

Season 3 was just complete bullshit imo but it was also my favorite. I’m more pissed off that we lost Lincoln and…and lexa within I believe back to back episodes. How she died was complete bullshit by a stray bullet and then Lincoln executed like FUCK MAN. I’m extremely happy we got clexa before tragedy struck with THAT scene😏. Seeing clexa reunite in the city of light had me BALLING like a whole baby I think I cried that whole entire episode and that I love you made me sob so hard😭 good season but shit deaths

Season 4 I think was pretty cool especially meeting Luna, Emori and other characters. Seamechanic had me sold and it sucks that they weren’t made into a couple with them ruining Luna’s character and killing her off (let’s be real she could’ve solo’s EVERYONE in that conclave) the ending had me in tears and it was just a phenomenal season

Season 5 was a complete total different vibe to it. 3 groups in different places was cool too (didn’t like Octavia this season AT ALL) Clarke with madi and knowing she’s basically a mini lexa had me sad as hell. Echos whole turn around as a character was awesome I loved her this whole season, Bellamy I didn’t really care for much at all still a favorite tho. Murphy as well he became top 10 of my favorite characters of all time. Madi getting the chip and lexa speaking through madi had me in tears I miss her sm. And Harper and Monty’s deaths were NOT something I expected at all which had me BALLING so hard at I loved them both bro it’s not fair.

shay would 10000000000% take bianca to sentosa. one of those couple who would hold hands on the handrails in the train. would promise bianca a day at universal studios if she went indoor skydiving with him

shay can’t bring his mountain bike everywhere so he and bianca would probably rent bikes and ride around the city. i genuinely believe shay prides himself on being bianca’s personal tour guide

on a hot day shay would get bianca a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice from an ijooz vending machine just because she got so excited the first time she saw one (so was i. lmao)

there’s a coffee + beer place where my family and i stayed at and as soon as we walked in, i immediately thought “yeah shay and bianca would go on a date here”

Summary: Murphy's existence post-Disappearance was pretty bleak. Sure, he had his own bakery, and, yeah, he didn't have to worry about his mom's drinking anymore, or studying for math tests, but the fire that came from his hands had blistered and burned his skin beyond any repair that even the best training that any of the kids with babysitter first aid could do and had left them useless and constantly in pain. He couldn't do the baking for his store, or even wash his hair.

And then Clarke came to town.

Summary: “Everyone is so concerned about this storm,” Raven says. “It’s calling for what, three or four inches of snow? Back home in Minnesota, that’s not even enough to close schools.”

Murphy snorts. “Well, hon, welcome to Georgia,” he says. “This may be a shock to you, but we don’t get as much snow as Minnesota.”

“Yeah, I’ve noticed,” she says, chuckling. “It’s kind of boring, honestly.”

“Being locked up in your house for months because the outside world is trying to freeze your face off sounds boring.”

Summary: To be clear: Murphy's not quite sure how he ended up here. But somehow, they're waiting in a hospital to make sure Clarke and Raven are going to be alive and Bellamy looks like he's going to punch something.

Well, Murphy's sort of clear: he knows they got here because of the crash. What he doesn't quite remember is why Bellamy is about to pounce.

(or: clarke forces everyone to ballroom dance, there are way too many baking metaphors and people get hit by cars.)

Always Been the End of the World (Rated T) [The 100 — John Murphy x Clarke Griffin]

Summary: Clarke's day is turning out to be a disaster. If stubbing her toe and her shitty roommate, she also has to deal with John Murphy, the bane of her existence. Even though she loves working at this bakery his mere presence makes that harder with each day. But with a major order, for her childhood best friend's wedding no less, she can't let him distract her. Nothing he does is going to get under her skin today.

Unfortunately, it seems, Mother Nature has other plans.

Although, just maybe, her day doesn't end up being quite as much of a disaster as she thought.
