that is, before he reminds himself that he couldn't have done it without dee, and how at the end of the day, he would do it all over again, cannon shot and all, because he's not gonna take that choice away from his best friend. not when everything else was taken away from him...

Fenton, the Ghost Hunter Hero

So! When Danny first saw a Ghost attacking his school, he was still terrified of his parents finding out about his Powers.

He looked exactly the same in his Ghost Form, sounded the same, he even had the Hazmat Suit his parents had custom made for him on as a Ghost. There was no way anybody wouldn't immediately find him out if he tried to stop Lunch Lady with his Powers, it was so obvious!

But he couldn't just leave her there. She had crossed through the Portal that he opened, and was attacking his friends. He needed to stop her somehow!

So he tried, he just didn't use his Powers. He stole a bunch of his parents Inventions, fixed the broken ones so they actually worked, and ran in to stop Lunch Lady as a Human. The battle lasted far longer than he would have liked, but eventually he managed to stop her and shove her into the Thermos.

And from there on out, he just kept doing it. Danny became the Town's defacto Hero, since his parents were too Incompetent and he had the ability to actually beat the Ghosts, he had to protect the people he had endangered.

Soon enough people began to notice his Heroics. Mr Lancer didn't stop him when he ran out of the classroom, Dash stopped shoving him in Lockers, and his parents were Ecstatic when they found out he had gone into the "Family Business".

He still kept his Ghost Form hidden from his parents and the Public though. It was still too dangerous.

He only ever used his Ghost Form while in the Ghost Zone so he could blend in, and avoid being attacked by the multiple Ghosts who he had forced back in there. Danny Fenton was a Ghost Hunter, Phantom was just another Ghost wandering the Ghost Zone.

(Though he did gain some infamy by defeating some powerful ghosts, like Aragon or Plasmius)

Years down the line, Fenton remained the respected Ghost Hunting Hero of Amity Park, his greatest accomplishment being the defeat of Pariah Dark, the Ghost King.

That battle had actually drawn outside attention to the town for a change, and it wasn't long before Danny was offered a spot on the Justice League's Junior Team. It wasn't every day when the evil Ruler of another Dimension was defeated by a non-powered Human, so it actually sparked some interest in the Town.

Unfortunately, Danny couldn't accept the Invitation.

If he joined the Justice League, it ws only a matter of time before one of their multitude of Magic Users realized the truth and outed him as a Ghost. He couldn't take that chance.

He was content staying as a small town Hero dealing with a "minor" Ghost Problem, no need to overcomplicate matters.

That is, until the JL contacted him again a few months later. Apparently, their Time Travelers had warned of an Evil Ghost known as Phantom, who would one day grow so powerful he would destroy the world and leave it in ruins. They needed his help as an expert Ghost Hunter to track down Phantom, for the safety of the world.

Problem. This version of Danny had never actually met Dan, since his history went so differently. Now he is terrified of what event could have led to him becoming the Worst Supervillain in History.

uhhh so the number four is associated with death in certain cultures, including japanese, which is fitting for the butcher’s son, yes but just remember neil was supposed to be number three and jean was supposed to be number four ,and in every draft but one jean dies. he is symbolically saved from that fate by dodging the number four (being given, instead, the number three which represents REBIRTH of all things - i made a whole post about that if ur curious) because it means he was never marked for death. so in this draft, where he’s number three, but was supposed to be number four, he comes so close to death - to the point where renee doesn’t know how he’s still alive - because he was supposed to die, doomed by the narrative, but that number three saves him. that number three represents resurrection, and so he doesn’t die like he was supposed to. because he’s not number four, he’s number three. he comes back. he transforms, he heals. he becomes number 29 (i will eventually make a post about jean and the 29)

neil, though, was marked for death. he had the number four tattooed on him, and he goes through his own narrative believing he will die by the end of it. his survival, however, is foreshadowed in the very moment neil thinks he’s about to die - when he is kidnapped. lola burns the number four - the signifier of death - off his face, leaving him scarred, yes, but not marked for death anymore. and so he lives. and guess what: the number 10 represents the start of a new chapter, that one cycle is coming to an end and a new life is starting, one that you’ve worked hard for. so for the number four to be burned off of neil, that tells us neil is going to live. and when neil becomes neil legally, he settles into the number 10 properly. and his new life begins.

Most photos I can find of the 'Type 1' Class 16s depict them lounging or languishing in stored states in non-descript sidings. Their areas of operation didn't attract too much attention, so anyone who was visiting and snapping them for the 'Wider Picture' were content with record shots.

This one is a tad more lively, it's in colour, a retro BP tank wagon is included and its a good profile study of these particular diesels (of which there were only 10 built, none survive)

Soundwave, Champion of the pits of Kaon

Bee is trying to figure out why that name and face remind him of the memorial Sentinel constructed in Iacon for the High Guardsmechs who died in the last days of the war against the Quintessons.

I’m sorry but nothing will ever top the absolute shock I felt while watching PMMM episode 3 back in 2011 (the infamous Mami vs Charlotte episode).

PMMM is so widely known as a dark magical girl show nowadays that I feel like most newer fans are either fully aware of the twist or at least know something off is going to happen at some point. It’s not like it ruins the experience for new fans or anything (PMMM is more than capable of standing on its own merits rather than just shock value), but I still miss seeing people’s genuinely shocked reactions back in the early 2010s.

Transformers is basically the X-Men:

A semi-Crack Essay by someone who has never watched Transformers and has only watched the X-Men Movies and a handful of X-Men cartoons

As the title and subtitle suggest I have never consumed any Transformers media in my life but have had Transformers Yaoi pop up on my FYP for several months now as some of my fave artists and mutuals have started to really get into this franchise.

And from the things I have gathered through second and third hand about this franchise’s lore over these past few months I have come to the conclusion that it is the X-Men but everyone is a car.

Let me demonstrate

Optimus Prime = Professor X/Charles Xavier

Leader of the hero team. Ex-boyfriend of the main villain. Basically in charge of a bunch of child soldiers. Wants to stop his Ex from committing genocide twice a week.

Megatron = Magneto/Erik Lehnsherr

Leader of the Villain Team. Victim of oppression turned terrorist. Doomed Old Man Yaoi with Optimus/Charles. Used to be “good friends” before the incident™. Makes their break up 50 years ago everyone else’s problem.

Bumblebee = Wolverine

Yellow™ and while the X-Men’s/Autobots roster and team members change with ever single timeline and adaptation, Bumblebee, just like Wolverine, 👏WILL👏 BE 👏THERE👏! (Context under the break)
