I don't know if I have said this a lot here but I tend not to play a lot games on my phone as I am really not all that big into the mobile game stuff as, in my opinion, 98% of mobile games are either terrible or are littered with constant, annoying ads that one is forced to watch a million of. Anyway, out of curiosity, I decided to give Call Of Duty Mobile a try and here are my thoughts on this one.
Graphics: for a mobile game, the game doesn't actually look all that bad. Yeah, it's one of those mobile games that boasts about having console quality graphics and I'd say the graphics are close to like PS3/Xbox 360 era which is pretty decent for a mobile game to have.
Controls: I'd say that the controls are fine enough at best. There's the option for simple controls and advanced controls. They have a virtual thumb stick on the left side of the screen and on the right is the ADS, fire weapon, jump and reload buttons. The only difference between simple and advanced is that advanced gives you a button to fire your weapon whereas simple lets you aim at an enemy and the weapon just fires at the enemy you are aimed at. The middle of the screen from left to right is your scorestreaks, switch weapons and grenade. Also, the top right of the screen is where your like operator power weapon is. It's not a terrible control layout but it can lead to some issues I have found. This games causes my phone to warm up and that causes my finger to stick sometimes and sometimes makes screen taps not register. The point is that when I tried playing CoD Mobile with a controller is was SO much BETTER, it's like a night and day difference. I used a PS4 controller. R2 & L2 are ADS and fire weapon, R1 & L1 are grenades, X is jump, square is reload, triangle is switch weapons and the D Pad are the scorestreaks and that makes playing the game a thousand times more comfortable to play, so much so that I need to keep playing it this way.
Maps: It's a pretty decent selection of maps here but the problem is a lack of creativity because all of one map is actually original and the rest are from past CoD games. I don't remember the names of all of the maps but they are from CoD 4, MW2 (2009), MW3 (2011), Black Ops, Black Ops II, and Modern Warfare 2019 and I am pretty sure that is it. The maps are small to medium size and that works here with matches being 5V5.
Music: The music only exists in the main menus and is pretty awful if you ask me. I really love rock and metal music and this game uses this generic rock music that just isn't very good at all and doesn't make me think of CoD at all either. If they're so obsessed with past CoD games in this one, why not use past CoD game music for this one? What's worse is that when you get into a match, there isn't any music at all and that makes the match feel kind of lifeless to me.
Weapons: The weapons all look pretty good. I do find it weird how a lot of the weapons do not have their proper names anymore. I recently unlocked the SCAR but it has a completely different name and that seems weird to me. Did CoD like lose the rights to actual names to these weapons that they use the designs and just name them something else? They all sound pretty good too but they sound better in the PC & console CoD games.
Modes: I'm sure it's obvious but, this game doesn't have any kind of single player campaign and I feel like that's expected. Multiplayer has a lot of different modes like TDM, Free For All, Kill Confirmed and so on. There's also the Battle Royale and I have no idea how that is because I've not tried it because I don't like Battle Royale games. The last thing it has is zombies which I also have yet to try. I am not a fan of CoD zombies but I will probably give it a go at some point just to say that I did.
Overall, I think that CoD Mobile is a pretty decent little phone game. The thing is that I'd really only recommend this to people who are obsessed with CoD and people who can only play games on their phone because I'd definitely highly recommend a controller for playing this game and that's not something I'd recommend to someone who plays mobile games casually as a controller that connects to ones phone isn't cheap.

CoD notes: dad
I want to say my dad tried Nacht Der Untoten with me precisely once on 360, which forms a pretty small chunk of my memory since I played that map to death.
Then I think it’s MW3 spec ops which we only played a small amount of together, all I recall is doing a submarine mission together and him getting downed a bunch and cracking up. This would’ve been on PC.
Definitely my next memory of playing CoD with my dad is him trying out Black Ops 2 and playing one match in Hijacked before he called it quits. That one was on OC
Ghosts I for sure remember us buying and playing against bots splitscreen to help him practice shooting on controller to prepare for Destiny 1 launching on PS4. And we did at least a little bit of extraction.
I think we did at least a little bit of Advanced Warfare splitscreen with bots but not much. That was for sure PS4 though.
Black Ops 3 we only played about 10 minutes of and it was actually recently when he owned a PS5 for about a week since it’s free on there. We got bored and blew ourselves up but also laughed so hard it hurt.
Infinite Warfare we definitely played a round or two of zombies since he loves the 80s. I distinctly remember running along a catwalk or ramp as Violent Femmes played and thinking how cool that was. I can’t remember if that was PC or PS4 since I at one point owned it on both.
WWII we owned on PS4 and did splitscreen with bots and then a little bit of real multiplayer because I think I remember doing the War mode together.
BO4 we both owned on PC because I remember being jealous at how much better it looked on his computer. We played against bots mostly.
MW19 we played splitscreen online on PS4 which was not an ideal way to play that game so sometimes I’d go on PC and we’d do cross platform Warzone. Lots of shoot house. I remember him having to shoot smoke grenaded enemies with an LMG to unlock a new LMG.
BOCW is the fists game he actually trained at without me to get good enough to play with me. I owned on PC, he got on Xbox. We got into a rhythm of playing quite a bit until MW2 came out. We played a bit of zombies but mostly MP. I mean some seasons we were playing every day. This was when we had 2 Xbox’s that shared an account.
Vanguard we pre ordered and intended to play but kind of fizzled out and went back to BOCW.
MW2 we played together online on Xbox. Mostly MP but we dabbled in Warzone 2 and DMZ.
And finally, we’ve played just a bit of MW3 so far but that includes a War mode match against some shield/knife fools, which we then switched our classes to and narrowly won by giving them a taste of their own medicine.

How Does a MW2 Aimbot Do You Good?
Tumblr media
Hacks and cheats are not acceptable cheating or hacking is not allowed in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer or Warzone 2. You can be banned. It is particularly true if you are using a Modern Warfare 2 Aimbot, ESP or other cheats are utilized.
There are, however, legitimate ways to improve the gaming experience you have in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. TikTok's squaddwipe reveals some settings on the controller that can aid.
Accuracy
Animbots and ESP or ESP like features can aid MW2 aimbotgamers become more dangerous. They are third-party programs which use code to send the enemy's crosshair and dramatically increase the accuracy. Although these applications are fun to play with however, they're also looked down upon and can cause players to get banned.
There are various ways to increase the precision of your device without the use of an aimbot. You can set the aim assist to Precision, Default or Focusing. The settings were designed to help controller players play against mouse and keyboard gamers.
A different option is using a controller aim "assist" that has instant tracking of enemy movements. This is considered an illegal cheating method, since it offers a player a level of response no one can achieve. The program can detect an opponent as soon as a player starts moving and predict where they are going next. It is an enormous advantage over humans, and is best to avoid it.
Reliability
The aimbot hack for MW2 targets enemies automatically and destroy them, guaranteeing that you're on target every time. This makes it ideal for people who would like to try their hand at the game, but do not have the time to endure the single-player campaign.
Call of Duty is known not just for the extremely difficult missions, but also its deep storyline. Fans will be hoping that MW2 Remastered will keep this going however it is unlikely, especially since the series has been undergoing the same cycle of releases every year since more than 17 years.
There are many risks when the use of call of duty hacks mw2. It can cause an addiction among gamers. Some hacks and cheats violate the terms and conditions of the game. This could result in removal or suspension on your account. Additionally, some hacks can harm a player's PC.
Customization
youtube
Game hacks and aimbots can be fun to use But it's vital to be aware that they may offer you a competitive advantage over the other players. The advantage you gain may lead to your account being banned.
The COD aimbot Console users, has a range of customisation choices. One of them options is Field of View (FOV). The setting for FOV determines how far you are able to shoot and aim. It's crucial to increase the FOV setting.
A different option that can be customized can be found in another option that can be customized is the Aim Response Curve Type. You can choose from Default, Precision or Black Ops. Each one of these choices provides unique feel the movement of your thumbstick. The default setting is very well-liked by many gamers however it may be frustrating for people who aren't used to analog aim.
The ESP function that is available in MW2 allows you to see enemy details, including weapons even when they're concealed behind walls. It allows you to identify your adversaries before they do. It is possible to eliminate enemy players faster.
Security
Aimbots, also known as third-party software applications, have not been approved from the Modern Warfare 2 development team. They are thought of as cheating and hacking. They make use of keyboards and mice as well as coding to quickly snap the crosshairs of enemies. Aimbots go beyond aim assistance and are a function which developers can add to games to give players using controllers the edge in competition against the mouse and keyboard warriors.
You will have a big advantage over the competition if you use an aimbot. It allows you to take out enemies without them even noticing you. This is very useful when sniping from a position of avantage.
Although there are many advantages to cheating, you need to be responsible whenever you utilize ESP as well as game cheating. Only use them when you need to and do not abuse them. Additionally, you should only download hacks and cheats from reliable sources. The aimbots for MW2 free downloads could contain malware and viruses that cause damage to your computer. You should also avoid downloading any hack that violates the terms of service for the game, as this can lead to your account being suspended.

If you don't mind me asking, what got you first interested in cod?
Honestly: the graphics 😶
cod used to be such a typical dudebro multiplayer game for me, which sounded interesting (because pewpew), but since I'm absolutely not a fan of multiplayer games, it was rather uninteresting for me.
And then mw1 came out (reboot), but it passed me by because I had other interests at the time. But now with mw2 I saw a few trailers and thought: holy shit that looks really good! I like games that give me a story! And with such good graphics - it's like watching a movie! Well, then I watched mw1 on YouTube (because I wanted to see if I liked it first) and then mw2 and then… well, then I was in it. And since then I have been more and more surprised at how good the cast is, how much I like the story and how well the characters are written.
But I admit that I still haven't played the game myself. I've seen soooo many YouTube videos that I have the feeling I've played it, but actually I'm a PlayStation kid, but I don't have PlayStation+ (for the above-mentioned reason uninteresting for me), but actually I'd like to take a look. Maybe it would be fun to play with others. However, I do not want to buy a Plus subscription just for this one game...
then I'd have to buy the PC version, but I have two left hands when it comes to playing with a keyboard. I do have a controller, but it's xbox and … i also have two left hands when it comes to xbox controllers and ahhhhhhh
sorry, that wasn't your question at all and I'm oversharing
So to answer your question: the graphics and probably the hype about it (and I'm a sucker for skulls and silly middle aged men)

E3 2019: My Thoughts on What We Saw
Alright, E3 is over this year, which means it's time to go over what we saw and my thoughts on it.
This is late, so some stuff here will be out already.
I'll be going by publisher alphabetically, so first up, we have...
Borderlands 3
I'm so freaking hyped to get lost in this hilarious world again. I've played Mordecai in Borderlands 1, Zero in 2, and Claptrap in Presequel. Still trying to decide who to play as in 3, but right now, it's looking like I'll pick FL4K, since he specializes in long range and has a few cute beasties by his side. Also, we're getting not one, but THREE action skills with each character. Not only that, but you can sacrifice your grenade skill for two equipped skills.
The Children of the Vault look like some worthy successors to Handsome Jack for title of "Best Borderlands Villains", though we'll see how they pan out on release date.
The gameplay that we saw of Moze looks smooth. Heck, everything about this game looks sleek and refined without doing away with the art style. Also, guns with legs.
Anyway, we not only got the gameplay reveal, but also Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary, a new DLC for Borderlands 2 that sets up 3, so I'm scrambling to finish the Handsome Collection on my PS4, which just got a lot more difficult now that I've bought RDR2 finally, along with several other games.
Control
I loved Alan Wake, and this is from the same people, so I’m hyped. The game looks great, has a suspenseful atmosphere, and it seems to play well. I’m looking forward to release date.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reboot
I haven't bought a COD game since "Black Ops 2", though I have played the newer ones with a friend of mine. It looks good visually from the reveal trailer I saw, I'll say that much. No gameplay yet, but I know it'll be gritty, focusing on some of the more shocking moments of the original trilogy, like "No Russian" from MW2 or the nuclear explosion from MW1, so it seems we're bringing in more edge to the series. Still, I'm glad the campaign is back, and I'm interested to see how it will look.
12 Minutes
A twelve minute time loop where you're forced to relive the death of your wife and the only way to break it is to find out why she was killed? Sign me up.
Code Vein
I remember this one from last E3. Still the same opinion, too. Anime style souls game that I might buy for the story, which looks interesting.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
So this looks REALLY good. It's like a deep RPG, deeper than Xenoverse was, with mechanics besides fighting like fishing, and as for the fights themselves, they seem to be more strategical than before, with a healthy dose of classic DBZ fisticuffs in there for good measure.
Elden Ring
A Souls game written by George RR Martin? Don't know too much about it besides that, but it looks cool based on the trailer.
The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan
Basically, another Until Dawn, but on the open sea during a storm. And I'm totally okay with that.
Deathloop
Another game from Arkane? The guys who made Dishonored? I'll take it. Besides, another time loop premise sounds interesting.
Doom: Eternal
If Fallout 76 was any indication, Bethesda desperately needs a win now to restore faith in their studio. Besides a few of the other games announced at E3 2019 that could do so, there was one that stood out in particular: Doom Eternal. I’ve already played all the Wolfenstein games, with the exception of one upcoming entry on this list, and based on what I’ve seen of Eternal, I’m going to like it due to the similarity in gameplay.
GhostWire: Tokyo
The presentation on the new game from the makers of Evil Within, another series to try now that I have a PS4, was memorable for a few reasons. First off, Ikumi Nakamura, the game’s creative director, was the main presenter and she was adorable. Seriously, it’s probably one of the best E3 presentations I’ve seen this year. I can’t remember the last time I saw one so genuine like hers, plus it helps that the Internet has fallen in love. As for the game itself, it looks great, with people disappearing in Tokyo and it being up to some guy with a bow and supernatural powers to find out why. The reveal trailer was all we got, but still, I can’t wait to play it.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood
The first game I’ve ever preordered, and this comes from a guy who never preorders on principle. It’s a Wolfenstein spinoff with BJ’s twin daughters, so yeah, I’ll buy it. Plus, it’s co-op, so I’m playing this with my best friend. Still trying to decide which twin to play, though. Probably Jessie, since my friend is gonna want to play Soph.
Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory
Looks interesting, plus the gameplay reminds me of Shadowrun Returns.
The Sinking City
This one’s already out, but it looks good. Hopefully, it’ll be received better than Call of Cthulu before it. Plus, I’m all for a game where the protagonist is losing his mind, like Dead Space.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood
Set in the World of Darkness universe, like Bloodlines, except you're a werewolf instead of a vampire and it's from a different studio. Gameplay was revealed behind closed doors, but it looks good from what I've heard. We don't have too many werewolf games around.
Cyberpunk 2077
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY ALREADY!
Yeah, this might be the first game I preorder for myself, since now we finally have a release date: April 16th, 2020. The new trailer we got gave us a glimpse of a default male V as well as what may be Jackie’s death (please don’t kill off Jackie, CD Project RED, I like him too much already). After V’s employer tries to double cross him, V tries to kick ass with his twin arm blades, which look really unique, before said employer shoots him in the head. The trailer ended with a major surprise: as V comes to in a junkyard, a figure in jeans, a tank-top, and a silver left arm approaches, and kneels to reveal a face and voice that sounds suspiciously like Keanu Reeves.
Yes, that’s right, for those who haven’t heard by the time this is posted, Keanu Reeves is in Cyberpunk 2077 and he’s playing Johnny Silverhand, a legendary rocker in the world of 2077 who may not be what he seems.
After the trailer premiered onstage, Reeves came out onstage to promote the game. He could barely get through the start of his speech, people were that excited to see him in the flesh. There was even a great moment where he described the game as “breathtaking”, to which a fan shouted out, “You’re breathtaking!”, to which Keanu responded in kind. We don’t deserve this man.
Anyway, at the end of his speech, Reeves gave a new look at gameplay as well as the game’s release date. The glimpse was only about 20 seconds long, but still, the new look at the combat, hacking, and what is presumably a digital afterlife or something like that was enough to get me even more hyped for this game.
Seriously, I couldn’t be more hyped. This game is gonna be massive and I just might preorder it.
My Friend Pedro
Switch game, but still looks cool. It’s already out now.
Sea of Solitude
I need to play more games that make me feel like this. The art style looks gorgeous and the theme is depression, so yeah, I may buy this one if I like what I’m hearing.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Honestly, EA's part of the the expo was kind of depressing, especially when it got to Anthem. However, we did get more of Jedi: Fallen Order, and for that, I'm grateful, because this game looks great. Both the combat and lightsaber look slick as does the gameplay in general, and the voice acting is on point, from Cameron Monaghan to Forest Whitaker. We need a good Star Wars game for current gen consoles, and while The Old Republic is still my favorite, that's for PC. Also, while it has been announced that there are no microtransactions in the game, I'm sure EA will find some way to screw it up, but for now, it looks awesome.
Greedfall
I’m interested. Story and premise have me, a mix of 17th century colonialism with horror and the supernatural. Gameplay looks like my kind of jam, and we may be getting romance options too, based on some trailer observations.
John Wick Hex
Gameplay seems unique, plus it’s John Wick. I will always take more of Keanu Reeves.
Grandia HD Collection
I like JRPGs like this one, though it’s for Switch, so I can’t play it.
Way to the Woods
Looks like a cute adventure puzzle game. I might get it for PC.
Wasteland 3
This series looks like tactical Fallout, so yeah, I’m likely to give this one a shot since it looks good.
Blair Witch
A Blair Witch video game? That’s psychological horror?! With an adorable dog companion named Bullet?!?! Yes, please.
We didn’t get much besides a trailer and some gameplay, but I’m eager to see more.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel
Ugh, why is it that last year I was complaining about not having a PS4, now this year I’m complaining about not having a Switch?!
Anyway, this looks great and I want to see more. Especially since I’ve heard it’s going to be scarier than Majora’s Mask.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
Looks good on the graphics front, plus the gameplay additions looks promising.
And once again, I can’t play it.
Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
Out of all the games on this list, this is the one I want to play most that I can’t play because, you guessed it, I don’t have a Switch.
I loved the original Ultimate Alliance games, so I’m sure the new one is gonna be a hit, what with the new combos, character designs, and references to the MCU, plus it’ll tie us over until Marvel’s Avengers.
Pokemon Sword and Shield
The Pokemon look cute, it is set in the world’s version of the UK, gameplay looks improved, and once again, I can’t play it.
Empire of Sin
It looks cool, plus I need more Mob style games to play. It’s also made by the people who are responsible for the next game on this list...
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2
It’s only in pre-alpha, but still, this one looks good. The original is on the Steam store, and there are fan made patches that improved upon what was originally a disaster. The sequel looks like a smoother version of its predecessor, with a few new abilities and mechanics put in. Again, it's in pre-alpha, so the final product will look much cleaner, but for now, I'm excited for its release date.
Shenmue III
First off, I’m royally pissed that Epic stole this one. That being said, the game looks great and I’m looking forward to continuing Ryo’s story on PS4. The gameplay looks great, the atmosphere is enthralling, and the English dub sounds good this time around. Still pissed about Epic, but at least I can play it on PS4.
The Outer Worlds
This still looks great. Since Fallout 76 took a nosedive and kept on going, we need a game like this to get that bitter taste out of our mouths. This still looks like a cross between Fallout and Borderlands, the true New Vegas spiritual successor that we need right now. The companions actually look helpful, have personalities of their own, and the Flaws System sounds really interesting, giving your hero a perk in enchange for a debuff for the whole game. Also the humor is great, too.
Marvel’s Avengers
Yes, the character designs don’t look so hot. However, those can be changed on the road to launch. That aside, I liked what I saw. The gameplay looks great, the voice cast has some top tier talent for the industry, and the promise of more heroes to be added after launch without the attached microtransactions has my attention.
Dying Light 2
I only played the demo for the first one, a game I still need to play, but I liked it enough to want a sequel. The usual free running mechanics look smooth, plus the addition of player choice shakes up the game, making your playthrough unique, so yeah, more of the good old stuff with a few new things sprinkled in.
Final Fantasy VII Remake and Remasters
The remake of FF7 looks AMAZING. The hybrid combat system looks like a dream, plus the character designs look top notch. In addition, the voice cast sounds on point for their respective characters. The hype around this thing was evident from the incessant cheering, we want it that much. We even have a release date: March 3rd, 2020. It’s been a long time coming, but it seems the wait to experience this classic for the second time on a different system will have finally been worth it.
Also, there was content announced for FF14 as well as two remasters: Crystal Chronicles and FF8.
Bet your ass I’m buying the remaster for FF8.
Biomutant
This has been described as Fluffy Devil May Cry. It’s accurate. I didn’t know you’d be able to customize your character, to! Combat looks fun, and it appears there is humor present if the narrator is anything to go by, so I’m interested.
Destroy All Humans! Remake
I never played the original, but I did read about it and hear about it from a friend. From what I’ve seen, the remake looks fun! Good parody of the 1950s and the updated graphics look great. Plus, Krypto seems like a fun, grumpy protagonist.
Gods and Monsters
This looks like a cross between Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Legend of Zelda. Considering it’s being made by the same creators of the former, I can’t wait to see more of this in the future.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
I’ll be honest, I still haven’t played any Ghost Recon games, so maybe here would be a good place to start. Gotta say, I like the way Jon Bernthal presented. He just seemed at ease onstage. Plus, Bernthal’s dog looks adorable. Bam Bam is the real hero of the Ubisoft press conference.
Anyway, it seems Bernthal is playing Cole D. Walker, one of the antagonists of the game. Didn’t see any gameplay, but still, the game looks good. I need to play more tactical shooters in general.
Watch Dogs: Legion
I played the first Watch Dogs game. Thought it was cool, but overall it was a bit disappointing. I still need to play the second one, but I heard it was a major improvement, even if it wasn’t a financial hit. Still, this one put a smile on my face. The ability to recruit and play as anyone? A sarcastic AI as your companion? A grandma assassin? I will take all of it, thank you.
Also, grandma assassin.
Did I mention there was a grandma assassin?
Can’t wait for March 6th.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
The LEGO Star Wars games were some of the first games I ever owned back when I played on the PS2, so I’m hyped for a collection of all 9 films in one game. We don’t know much beyond the announcement trailer, but hey, I’ll gladly take this one when it comes out next year.
Baldur’s Gate III
A video game that plays like a DND game? I can’t wait. Haven’t played the other games, but I’m sure I’ll be fine once I play that tabletop prequel they mentioned.
Battletoads
It’s an Xbox and PC exclusive, but still, glad this is getting a remake.
Bleeding Edge
This looks like an Overwatch reskin. The combat itself looks unique, though, so we’ll see how it goes.
Gears 5
We got a little more on Gears 5 this time around. We’ve got a look at Kait and how the Locust influence is threatening to tear her apart (that’s what I’m assuming, I’ve never played the Gears games). We also got a new mode, Escape. I might get it, since it’ll be available for PC.
Halo Infinite
If this is what Xbox Scarlett looks like, then Sony might have actual competition for once. This is the best the Halo series has looked in years, and considering how let down some felt after Halo 5, it’s about time. We’re getting the same badass Master Chief back, this time with no AI companion, as Cortana has suffered corruption due to being around for longer than normal and has gone psycho as a result. Regardless, the graphics look amazing and I can’t wait to see how it looks when it releases Holiday 2020.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
I never played the original, but I might have to now, because this looks cute. The art style looks great and I’ll always be interested in games where you fight things ten times your own size. Plus, it seems to run smooth, and just by the sound of the story, it already has my heart.
Psychonauts 2
To cap things off, let’s end with a game I’ve been excited for since I finished the original months ago. The game seems to be coming along great, if the first level is anything to go by. Returning voice cast, new enemies and powers, new environments to explore, Jack Black voicing a Brain in a Jar, need I say more?
Also, this game looks to explore the water curse put on Rasputin’s family, so it will be a more personal and chilling story as well.
________________
So, there you have it. That’s my thoughts on E3 2019, half a month late.
What are you guys excited for? Leave a comment letting me know, especially if there was something I left out!
Until then!

Top 5 Games of 2019
It was a little tricky to construct a top 5 for this year, though there have been a couple of surprises.  I wasn’t expecting the year to be a bit crap as we are no w on the cusp once more of a new generation.  But 2012 wasn’t all that bad of a year (PS4 and Xbox One would release in 2013) and at the moment, everyone is doing alright.  PS4 has sold through over 100 million systems, Nintendo are definitely on an “on” generation with Switch, Xbox has been able to get back into peoples good books with things like Game Pass (on both Console and PC, their PC side they seem to really be turning around), there’s even interesting things happening in the mobile space with Apple Arcade.
This won’t be the last year where my top 5 games are full of current gen titles, I am expecting the new systems to drop in around November, last time it was hard to find a top 5 specific to PS4 (as I listed each platform separately back then).  It IS however, another list of mostly AAA tier games.  If you want to know what smaller more “interesting” games I have been playing, check out my honourable mentions at the end.
Also, follow me on Melee.  It’s this new image blogging service from Imgur which you can download now on the IOS App Store (its just on iPhone at the moment) and it has seemingly been built to help people share gaming related clips and images off of places like Twitter and Instagram (and err, here on Tumblr).  I posted a couple of daft clips of me failing in Modern Warfare and Destiny 2 and it didn’t take long for them to amass a few likes and comments.
Tumblr media
That sounded like a sponsored advert but ain’t nobody paying me for this.  Let’s get into my top 5
5. Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
Tumblr media
I was about to select Gears 5 to be my number 5 until I saw sense and cast my memory back to when I started playing Jedi (all the way back in November.  I was impressed by its intense action, impressive visuals and great characters.  I especially enjoyed the 4 armed pilot who always complains.  I did feel that towards the end I got sick of managing large groups of enemies so I dropped the difficulty to get through it, but I still haven’t achieved 100% of activities on all planets so I can still go back to it one day.
4. Borderlands 3
Tumblr media
We all knew this was coming but not even I had any idea that we would have been actually playing it in 2019 way back at the start of the year.  For me, I look at the game.  I don’t care about weird magicians or their insane sounding legal woes, all I’m interested in is the work of a team who deserved better for their last title, but am still glad returned to what they do best, looting and shooting.  I enjoyed rejoining these characters I have followed over the last 10 years, all the referenced to older games, cameos from characters from Tales From the Borderlands and The Pre Sequel and was sad to see some people go.  I still have about a year of extra content to go through and I really appreciate the efforts they have made to make the game last longer than just one playthrough through in the Proving Grounds, Circle of Slaughter and Mayhem modes.  Though I have always tended to stick to Borderlands games and create builds for each and every vault hunter, so I will be doing that.
3. Mortal Kombat 11
Tumblr media
It’s been a while since I last put a fighting game into my end of year round up.  And I HAVE fallen off MK11 a little bit, but this entry reminded me of how impressive it is for Nether Realms to pack their fighting games with some many things to do and keep people playing outside of just going into matchmaking and fighting others.  The Vault this year is basically another little adventure full of exploration and puzzle solving and the Towers of Time give you plenty of challenge and direction of many months to come.  You also have to give the developer credit for never backing down on the brutality of the game, they must have all got their heads together after DC Universe vs. and vowed never again to make watered down versions of Fatalities.  It is a game that keeps getting better and better.
2. Call of Duty Modern Warfare
Tumblr media
I was debating whether or not to include this years CoD.  I always get the same type of enjoyment out of it each year, people complain that it never changes but I’m glad it sticks to a formula.  Of course they are not identikit games, there are new maps, new modes, new ways of building your loadout and new touches, like how in this year you can snap to edges to stay in cover while you shoot, there’s the new special equipment system where you can drop ammo or reduce your footstep noise.  Having doors you can either peek through or smash open adds another level of strategy, there have been times where I have been able to escape being under fire by closing a door, re-positioning and then wasting whoever just wanders in.
The campaign this year, good to see it back, but whatever, the co-op mode is Spec Ops again, like it was back in MW2 and 3 but on a much larger scale, I have yet to complete one of these btw.  But as always, it’s the multiplayer that does it for me and Modern Warfare deserves credit for being what must be the first AAA game to feature cross platform play, not just launch with it.  I know that games like Fortnite are popular, but I don’t see that as a AAA title, it doesn’t have the full package, it’s just a mode and it started off small.  Call of Duty is expected to be big each year, has a lot riding on it and allowing for cross play is a big step.  I especially appreciate being able to play with a keyboard and mouse on PS4 and being able to matchmake only with people playing with controllers on PC, in fact, I have never really given the game much of a shot on PC before as I know people just fall of it, there has often been low player numbers reported on the PC versions of CoD and it looks like it won’t have that problem this time round due to cross play.
Modern Warfare still has to contend with Destiny 2 and Overwatch for my time as my main multiplayer game but it’s still as fun as ever.
1. Control
Tumblr media
Put this down as my main “surprise” game of 2019.  A game which was not on my watch list, though I was aware of it as you can’t ignore a game from the makers of Max Payne (I did skip Alan Wake and didn’t care much for Quantum break though).  Bought it at the last minute before its release, downloaded it and was wowed by the sinister nature of the environment you run around in.  This weird fictitious US government agency which looks into paranormal activity which you seem to have become in charge of because you picked up a mysterious weapon from the deceased Director while searching for your brother.  What then follows is about 12 hours of wacky powers and odd video clips as you unearth what has been going on in this strange ever morphing building.
I especially loved how the game never holds your hand too much, the map of each floor is vague enough that you also have to rely on in-game signposting to move around, as well as a bit of memory work.  There is also great humour involved too in some of the PSA posters on a lot of the walls, the antics of the caretaker and the videos you find of Dr. Darling throughout the game.
I did have a few weird technical issues with the game throughout playing, but still found it to be visually pleasing, there was this weird hitch that used to appear after coming out of the pause screen that always threw me, it would be followed by a few moments of low performance before getting back into the smooth action.  But this didn’t stop me from having a great time with Control.  Perhaps the game that will be the most prominent in my head when I think of 2019.
So there you have it, control is my best game of 2019.  But let’s look at the other new games I played throughout the year in my honourable mentions:
Gears 5
The Outer Worlds
Days Gone
Apex Legends
Far Cry New Dawn
Trover Saves the Universe
Concrete Genie
Devil May Cry 5
Tom Clancy's The Division 2
And also a special mention to these old games that were rereleased/remastered/repackaged etc in 2019:
Borderlands Game of the Year Edition Remastered
Halo Reach
And now, a look at the games I have on my watchlist for 2020:
Cyberpunk 2077
Last of Us Part 2
Ghost of Tsushima
Halo: Infinite
Watch Dogs Legion
Phantasy Star Online 2
Gods & Monsters
Doom Eternal
Overwatch 2
Diablo IV
Minecraft dungeons
Marvel's Avengers
Carrion
Streets of Rage 4
Will they all even come out?  Let’s find out, happy new year!

mw2 crashing on launch - How To Fix?
Tumblr media
Call of Duty, or COD, is a popular video game franchise, and its Modern Warfare series is considered among the best. Due to its complexity, the game is known to be very buggy. Recently, players have reported that Modern Warfare 2 is crashing at startup or not launching, making it impossible to play the game. If you are facing such issues, here are some steps that can help you fix them. Firstly, ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements to play the game. Modern Warfare 2 is a demanding game, and not meeting the specifications can lead to a crash. If your system is up-to-date, the following steps can help you fix the issue.
Tumblr media
How To Fix mw2 crashing on launch? Update Nvidia drivers If you are using an Nvidia GPU, update to the newest driver version. Nvidia had confirmed an issue with their driver, which caused the game to crash. However, they have fixed the issue with their latest Game Ready Driver. Update GPU and operating system Ensure that your graphics card driver and operating system are up-to-date. If your GPU is not updated, you can run into all sorts of issues, including Modern Warfare 2 crashing on startup on PC. When installing the GPU driver, use the GeForce Experience or directly download the update from Nvidia, but don’t use the Device Manager. While updating, choose Custom Install and perform a clean install. Also, update Windows and .NET Framework, including the optional updates. Run the game with admin permission and verify game files - If the game still fails to launch, try running the Battle.Net or Steam client with admin permission and verify the game files. - To provide admin permission, right-click on the desktop shortcut of Battle.Net or Steam, choose Properties, go to the Compatibility tab and check "Run this program with administrator permission." - From the Battle.Net client, go to All Games, click on Modern Warfare 2, click on the Gear icon next to the update button, and choose Scan and Repair. - On Steam, right-click on Modern Warfare 2, choose Properties, go to the Local Files tab and click on Verify integrity of game files. Try running the game once the verification and download are complete. Disable overlays and other background applications CoD titles are known to conflict with many third-party programs, which may be why the game is not starting for you. Disable the Task Manager’s Steam and Discord Overlay and the GeForce Experience application. If you are using any overclocking or RGB software, disable those as well. A clean boot is the best way to disable all third-party applications, so consider doing that before you start the game. Disable Nvidia Instant Replay and ShadowPlay Some players have also reported that having Nvidia Instant Replay or ShadowPlay enabled crashes the game more often. This fix is for players who can get into the game, and the crash occurs in-game. Close the Nvidia GeForce Experience completely before launching the game. Turn down overclock Historically, none of the COD titles, or maybe the engine, is good at handling overclocks. One of the main reasons COD games crashed for many players in the past is because they overclocked their GPU or CPU. Disable the overclock Sometimes the GPU may be factory overclocked, causing the issue. For Nvidia users, you have a quick option to disable any factory overclock. Open the Nvidia Control Panel, go to the Help tab at the top, and check Debug Mode. When Debug Mode is enabled, all factory overclocks will be disabled. Allow the game through the Windows Firewall Allow the game through the Windows Firewall. If the firewall blocks the game from execution, the COD MW2 will crash at startup. You can also put an exception on your software using a third-party firewall or temporarily disable the firewall to see if it resolves the issue. Reinstall the game If none of the above steps work, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Sometimes files can become corrupted, leading to startup crashes. Uninstall the game through the Battle.Net or Steam client and delete all game files from your system before reinstalling. Contact support If you have exhausted all options and the game is still not starting, contact the game's support team. They may have more specific troubleshooting steps or be able to assist you in resolving the issue. Also read: Al Sharim Junkyard Dead Drop Location Warzone 2 DMZ – How To Find? In conclusion If you are facing issues with Modern Warfare 2 crashing on startup or not launching, try updating your Nvidia drivers, GPU, and operating system, running the game with admin permission, verifying game files, disabling overlays and other background applications, turning down overclocks, allowing the game through the Windows Firewall, and reinstalling the game. If all else fails, contact the game's support team for further assistance. Read the full article

#BO4 ALPHA OMEGA UPDATE#
Pernell: This is Broken Arrow Operations Director Pernell, accompanied by Doctor Hale. I'll let you know when he's been delivered. Pernell: I don't think lab rats are gonna cut it here. Hale: I know, but he didn't have the shard. He could restore the body, but not the mind or soul. But according to his own research, that was the ceiling: reanimation. Hell, the Germans made that Group 935's primary purpose during the war. Pernell: (sighs) Doctor Maxis spent years reanimating the dead. When we charge them with regular Element 115, it gave them power. I think it's what Maxis was looking for all those years ago. Whenever we drain energy from it, that, that energy is replaced. It's unlike any Element 115 sample we've studied before. The levels of concentrated energy it contains, well, simply put, out team has been unable to measure it.

5, 19, 15, 20, 25, 40, 35, 40, 45, 50 🎮
Thank you!
5: Ever use cheat codes?
Not since I was a child, back in the good ole’ PS2 days.
15: If it was a requirement to get a game related tattoo, what would you pick?
I’ve had this idea for years, i want to get the Phurba dagger on my forearm with Drakes ring around the blade. I also wouldn’t mind getting one related to Tachanka and Ghost too.
10: Ever go to a midnight game release or stand in line for hours?
I wish. The nearest GameStop is 30 minutes away and my dad wouldn’t have stayed in line for hours just for me to get a game that we could get the next day. It would’ve been nice to experience it just once. Now they don’t do midnight releases anymore.
20: Game that you know like the back of your hand?
I have a few. CoD MW2 & Ghosts, Uncharted 2, SOMA and The Order 1886. It’s usually the games I obsess over are the ones i know like the back of my hand.
25: Were you ever an arcade game player?
Not really. I use to play Pac Man on my old gameboy but that was it.
30: How many consoles do you own?
Only two, the PS3 & PS4. Hopefully someday the PS5 :)
35: Ever work in a game store? Or do you have a favorite game shop?
Nope and i guess GameStop would be my favorite? I mean it is the shop i normally go to if I don’t buy it digitally. Plus they have gaming merch.
40: What to you think of virtual reality headsets or motion controls?
I think the VR headsets are kinda cool, as long as they come without wires or needing a PC or console to use it.
45: How are you at Mario Kart?
I don’t actually know i haven’t played it in forever. Probably not that good lol.
50: If you were a game designer, what masterpiece would you create?
Masterpiece? Hmm, i don’t know 🤔 maybe like the sequel to The Order 1886 b/c that game deserves a sequel and i hope we get it someday.

How Much Longer Does COD Have?
I like video games. Call of Duty, FIFA, and Madden were the some of the first Triple A games I played. But with how dry COD is right now and how respect it’s lost in the gaming community, how many more new games do we have in store? Listen, it’s not that I hate COD or anything but with some many other shooters out there, when will Activision call it quits?
Another question I have is will COD ever die off? It’s a comfort game, the standard FPS, a game parents know of at least a little bit and one they’ll bye for their kids. But it’s kind of starting to show that maybe the kids that had parents that bought them COD, are interested in a lot of other games.
My reason for making this is because I’ve noticed that several big creator in the COD community are playing other games too on their channels and streams. 2 examples I’ve noticed are Faze Jev and Hollowpoiint. They’re both really getting into Rainbow 6 Siege and have said that the skins in that game look cleaner than on COD. Their playing other shooters reflects the sentiment that COD has had a stale year, and while the PC version of WWII seems to actually be good this year, it may seem like COD will only have a few more good titles before interest is lost entirely.
Activision can try and squeeze whatever money is left in the franchise into their pockets, which is part of the reason people hate newer CODs, but after it’s gone, it’s gone.
I’m not really expecting that day to be super soon, but as opposed to the MW2 and BO2 days where it seemed like COD would never stop being popular, a end may be in sight.
On the other hand, it means a new shooter could potentially rise up and control the market for years. But hopefully not Overwatch. Those fanboys gas that game up enough already.
Anyways, I thought this would be an interesting little topic to over and discuss so yeah, that’s it for now and I know this was short but I didn’t feel like doing some long boring analysis. So bye and see you later.
