so what if i told you that im normal about bo6 and did a normal thing of recreating the layout of the rook as best as i could in the sims 4

[The rooms with two names are what they're called in a blueprint you can find in the ops room with the name in quotations being what I call them]

this took so embarrassingly long to do and its not great; im like average at best in building in the sims. this is base game only, no mods, no cc, no dlc and since im not a fucking masochist ill probably never furnish it but yeah.

fun fact: the direction of the floor boards, even the herringbone floor, is correct to whats in the game. and its totally not to make up for the travesty that is the design of the windows.

anywho, details for those curious!

The blank or ? rooms with colored floors are inaccessible

We know the red, blocked off room in the living room / "surveillance room" is a bathroom for certain thanks to the blueprint on the wall in the operations room (and by the looks of it, despite how big it is, the blueprint implies its only a half-bath?)

I'm assuming the blue ? room in the kitchen is some kind of walk-in fridge, especially since they would only have a mini fridge in there otherwise

The room that I called Adler's room [the one with the safe at the end of the safehouse puzzle] is a fucking mystery. Every other room changes throughout the SH missions but the only change in that room is a tape recorder moving from the foot of the bed to a table/trunk next to the foot of the bed.

- I feel like it being Adler's room would make sense; The room doesn't change much because he doesn't stay at the Rook for long and he doesn't seem the type to have many personal effects

- I think they just did not give Case a room (if I wanted to be nice I'd say it was intentional to hammer home that even Case's friends don't treat him any better than a weapon but I'm gonna be real, I think they were just lazy and wanted to keep up the personality-less, self-insert cod/fps protagonist trend)

The green ? room has to be a bathroom, meaning all upper floor bathrooms are ensuites which is fucking wild

Because I'm also assuming that the orange ? room is a bathroom and walk-in closet

Why did they design this house so weirdly in regards to bathrooms. Were they embarrassed after everyone made fun of the codbocw sanatorium bathrooms?

The blacked out room labeled N/A is just inaccessible dead space. Is it an attic? Is it storage? Is it yet another secret torture room? The world may never know

Speaking of extra secret torture rooms, the off-shoot on the first floor labeled Fucking Narnia I Guess is only accessed (albeit by someone other than the player) once in the entire game.

- The Rook: Interrogation [last SH mission before the final mission sequence] starts with Harrow being interrogated off-screen in that area.

- I had absolutely no room for it (50x50 is the largest plot size and it was still not enough -- peep how the training area and screened-in porch had to be cut off) but I'm assuming that it's some kind of guest house

[This is just a stupid little me thing but every time I make a house in the Sims 4, I imagine the path the inhabitants would have to take to walk food from the kitchen to the dining room. Here they would have to walk through the office / "sitting room." why.]

and now for irrelevant details that i want to talk about bc i spent so much time wondering around this house!

A lot of people have pointed it out but Woods has a photo of him and Mason in his foot locker

- And can someone tell me if Woods would actually be able to transfer from his wheelchair to his cot (not even a bed, its just a fucking cot) in the ops room easily? I don't know enough to make any statements but isn't it too low?

they keep propane tanks inside. in the kitchen. next to a double fireplace. and literal grenades.

idk whats worse: that or the RPG in the surveillance room during one of the SH missions

Having your drill press and bandsaw in the kitchen is so genuinely deranged that I'm in awe

In The Rook: Reconciliation the blue truck parked outside isn't real (you can walk straight through it)(or at least i did when playing)

There's a game of chess in Marshall's room that updates occasionally but I don't know how to play chess so any meaning is lost to me

Also he has a bunch of drawings in his room :)

Day 2 Die Landebahn/The Rook

Time for Rook Crew slice of life/shenanigans!

(Kudos to @woods-and-adlers-left-hand-chap who posted this headcanon)

Case is a gremlin in the body of an orc who likes to just sit in dark corners during his breaks.

The boys have pool nights and talk shit the whole time.

Case and Sev come bother Felix in the kitchen, one is on duty to keep his attention away while the other steals food. (Felix knows about their stunt but pretends not to)

Case loves to put his nose where it doesn't belong, and can be found picking locks everywhere around the house. Some are not exactly fond of having their rooms broken into.

Felix improved Woods' wheelchair once. Of course Sev's stuff has been stolen and broken for this to happen. (The number of times Sev almost murdered Felix has reached the double digits after the second day knowing each other)
