Poll + announcement.

So, inspired by the recent popularity of "map charcters to activities" and "sort characters" polls, I made an online toll to automate making of such polls. It defaults to hug/room/die, but you can edit the text. It's kinda ugly in looks (sorry), but does the thing.

Just write the names, correct the text from HRD if needed, click on "generate" and then you can click on a poll option (it copies by itself) and paste it to your Tumblr poll (it's plaintext, so it pastes nicely)

I often don't post code stuff on here but I guess I should more often since I do that too. I made a Bluesky Bookmarklet for anyone that still uses bookmarklets (I do). It doesn't do anything complex, just grabs the current URL you're looking at and tosses it in a Bluesky action intent so I'm not grabbing any data or anything like that. It's just a simple share button. 😊 Just to to this Codepen link to get it.

This week, the CodePen challenge was a Sticky Nav!

Since I already did that last week, I went with a sticky nav through an image-map this week. I was hoping to finish it all today, but the audio/visual part was more than I bargained for.

I might scrap the music idea altogether last down the week for Plan B which is to create a game of Clue (still using an image map nav?).

This isn't responsive. I'm working on making the image-map responsive without jQuery.

When will jcink coders get it through their brains that if you don't want your codes used, you shouldn't host on codepen?

You know you can save them on your own computer, right? You write them in notepad and you save them with the .css or .html or .js file extension and nobody will ever have access to them except you.

Stop being such babies because you want free access to an online development environment but you don't want to comply with the free terms. You agreed your work would be open source unless you paid when you joined the site. Stop throwing a tantrum about it.
