Well I imagine Lan Xichen set it up to give LWJ a challenge (more social than skill based) and LWJ rose to it (begrudgingly)#Sort of a 'You've mastered so many Lan techniques but Other Sects have styles that are worth learning.' set up.#Lan Qiren agrees mostly on the basis that...well it's LWJ. Yunmeng Jiang is unruly but LWJ is beyond that riff-raff. He'll rise above it.#This is the story of a boy who thrives on routine and rules spending time in a place that is his apparent antithesis.#Also it is so warm there. The enemy surrounds Task Force 141. They struggle to take down the enemy. They all work together to take down the enemies. They are making progress taking the enemies down, but Ghost is shot and falls to the ground. “Simon!” Jamie yells and runs toward him. Ignoring the enemy gunfire. She falls to her knees by him. “No, please don’t die on me.” While the others protect Ghost and Jamie from gunfire, all Jamie can do is watch Ghost die. She lies on his chest, not caring she’ll be covered in blood. Jamie takes Ghost’s hand and cries. Jamie feels his pulse getting weaker until she can’t feel it. By then, the others have taken down the enemies. They know there’s nothing they can say to Jamie.
“Jamie? Jamie, wake up.” Ghost says. Jamie wakes up, terrified. “You’re safe. It was just a dream.” Ghost didn’t expect Jamie to cry. He hugs her and rubs her back to calm her. Jamie grips his shirt. Soon, Jamie calms down, but her grip on Ghost’s shirt remains tight. Ghost encourages Jamie to talk about her nightmare, not expecting to hear it was about him being killed in battle. What concerned Ghost is Jamie’s fear that the dream was a warning. He didn’t think she’d take dreams as a warning. They both know their job comes with the risk of being killed. Ghost isn’t sure how to help Jamie. He hugs her close to him. The room is quiet until Ghost speaks. “You know what we should do? A training course.”
The two stand in the training room, looking at the training course they’ll be running. “Now you are no longer my friend and teammate; you are my rival,” Ghost says. Jamie smiles. The two get ready to run the training course. They run the course. Ghost trying anything that doesn’t count as cheating to win. Ghost tries his hardest to finish first, but Jamie finishes first. “You cheated,” Ghost jokes. “That’s what you think.” “Yeah, yeah,” Ghost looks outside. “The sun is setting. Let’s go for a walk.” Ghost hurries and grabs his coat. He knew Jamie wouldn’t choose to wear one.
Ten minutes into their walk, Jamie gets cold. “You did this on purpose,” Ghost teases. “No, I’m fine —” Ghost puts his coat over Jamie’s shoulders. “If you say so,” Ghost chuckles. Jamie doesn’t remove Ghost’s coat off her shoulders. Ghost smiles, knowing she likes wearing his coat as they watch the sunset together.

You know, everyone always says that rainy weather causes Hiccup’s leg to ache. Which I’m sure tracks, but you know what my brother and I say? Humidity. Now, granted, obviously Hiccup doesn’t like it cold, but I’ll bet his ideal weather is between 50’s and 60’s Fahrenheit, with low dew points. But think how uncomfortable you get when it’s hot and humid. When you go outside, your fingers sorta swell a bit and stuff and it just feels weird. Now imagine how poor Hiccup must feel with his leg; surely it would swell a bit as well, and the rubbing against the prosthetic? Talk about uncomfortable! So my brother and I have the headcanon that when it’s continually hot and humid, (whether it’s modern day or if he’s visiting a muggy island such as Bog Burglars or Visithug) he’ll ride on Toothless’s back more often than he walks

Lev really is one of those grandpas you find out was involved in hardcore war shit and a bunch of serious high ranking jobs when he was younger and you just cannot believe it's the same person

Lev's always been Lev... His older self existed alongside his younger self technically. Imagine like...#Say you have a ruler where the lower numbers are younger years and bigger are older ones. Simple enough! But now you flip it#so that it's upright and smear it out along his time line in a cone shape. His ages have been present in various ratios#throughout all time. He exists outside time. I love how at the dog park I meet the most amazing people in the world or the absolute worst. Today a woman who told me the saddest story about her dogs, how she rescued them, how one of them survived several illnesses (I cried btw) and then a man who, apparently, loves to hit his dog and to talk shit about his gay son. Disgusting, luckily I was still partially under sedation (due to the tooth surgery).
#and yes - I'm the crazy lady who took her dog to the park with a cold pack on her cheek#I regret nothing.#also I want to say that he didn't hit his dog in front of me (because I would have called the cops I swear)#but he talked about how he train him and that I should do the same with mine#he was very creepy
