Reflecting on Hueniverse's Journey

I find it fascinating to look back at the older screenshots of Hueniverse. It's gone through so many significant changes and adjustments, and I find myself liking it more and more with each iteration—even if some of those changes made me want to punch a pillow!

i love making those colour puzzles it's so much fun to try out unexpected colour ingredients. on the other hand when i play my own games months later i can usually trace my own logic of "what would be an unexpected colour right now". but not always 😁. anyways i just made a green puzzle without using green in the mix. check out my blog hehe @colorpuzzles for more puzzles

Behind the Scenes: Hint Button Code in Hueniverse

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a bit of behind-the-scenes insight into the development of Hueniverse. Here's a snapshot of some code that powers the hint button feature!

This part of the code reads logged gradient colors and helps the game match them to provide helpful hints during gameplay. Making sure the hint system works smoothly is an important step in keeping Hueniverse both challenging and enjoyable, and I thought it might be cool for you to see a glimpse of that process.
