#had to fix this one before posting it #was supposed to be included in the last post - but didn’t exactly fit with the other images thematically #this building/sector is at the mouth of the entire park — I think it’s spot that manufactures/cans/pumps compressed natural gas?? not 100%#and it’s LOUD. not this building specifically but the 4 dozen other factories and assembly plants that operate on this block #similar noise level to working ground services at an intl airport; the passive noise level is somewhat-distant jet engine at best #hard to capture that aspect in the image — I should do a field recording tho #anyways yeah - it’s fun to drive through the heart of the park at night and listen to the whirrs and groans of machinery #I want to capture more but obv being oblique with a camera in this area or making frequent passes warrants a little more sensitivity #I do not want to deal with cops OR well-meaning-but-misguided working class folk who open carry to their shift at Dangerous Chemicals INC #my art #webcore #internetcore #glitchcore #artists on tumblr #night photography #distortion #noise #art #y2kcore #abstract art #glitch aesthetic #artwork #abstract #industry #infrastructure #machinery

forgive my absolute ignorance and maybe stupidity, but does swimming and other pool related activities help hypermobility? Whenever I told anyone related to medicine I'm having joint pain, they told me to take many a bath and frequent a pool

yes. water-related actitivites help with joint pain a) by in the case of exercise like aerobics and swimming building muscle and b) doing so whilst relieving pressure on the joints because the water is holding you up

hot baths will relieve pressure on the joints (unlike standing or even sitting to take a shower) and the heat will relax the muscles whilst the water supports you

#swimming CORRECTLY while hypermobile is a different matter because your bones will still want to go the wrong way #but certainly at equivalent levels exercise whilst floating in a body of water > exercise under the constraints of gravity #any heat therapy will help with muscular ache (note: acute injury requires ice to reduce inflammation and swelling)#like the application of a hot compress or a massage with heated oil #but nothing beats a hot bath. nothing on this earth #there may be a sensation greater than stretching out tight and tired calf muscles in hot water #but as god is my witness i havent found it yet if it does

i've gotta program something soon...

#my posts #gets computer science degree #proceeds to do no programming for 4 months #i have like a few programming ideas but starting things is hard #i want to play with godot more it seems fun #i should probably also learn C++ for job reasons since i want to get into lower level/embedded stuff and only know C and rust #i guess the problem there is i'd have to like come up with a project to learn it with #preferably something lower level #maybe finally do that make your own file system project i skipped?#or like something with compression and parsing file formats #that's all pretty involved though so something like playing with godot would probably be better to get myself back in the programming mood #some sort of silly 2d game probably #i've had thoughts of making a silly little yume nikki-like for my friends to play that could be fun #or just any silly little game for just my friends idk #starting with gamemaker kinda made using other game engines a bit weird for me #so getting used to how more normal game engines work would probably be useful #i also want to mess with 3d games that seems fun too #but see the problem with all of this is that i suck at starting projects #and am even worse at actually finishing them #well i guess we'll see what happens?#also hi if you read all of this lol

Trying. Fighting. To put together a missing link testament quote list. Its super fun because all 3 lists i know of have something wrong with them. But 1 of the lists says that 1 of their damage lines is 馬鹿な. Baka na. Thats also 1 of their damage lines in ggx. They reuse a lot of their ml lines in ggx so im willing to believe it but oh my god how did you get that from this fucking audio.

I assume they only got it since its a ggx voice line too. Because this sucks. Their missing link voice is so cute but like this sucks.

everyone who worked on yoi put so much love and sincerity into the project - not just for the story but for the sport itself - and watching all those moving parts come together to create such an earnest and heartfelt piece of media makes the fact that m*ppa left it to slowly wither on the vine even MORE deeply infuriating
