So this Halloween I realized I owned or could borrow all of the things to make a passable Contessa cosplay, except the hat. Finally had an opportunity to take pictures.

I like to think that Contessa is an urban legend in pop culture. Like, rumors of the fedora wielding lady have got to abound. She makes for such a great foil for pop culture. Like, she covers the John Wick secret assassin conspiracy perfectly (because it is true). Baba Yaga, the Boogiewoman. Because woke.

Ah, but also, the fedora is her most recognizable trait. All those fedora tipping nice guys from the early internet circa 2006-2007? We have a foil in the mysterious fedora tipping woman. Because of woke.

Hell, you can easily make jokey references to her in internet memes. 4Chan poster takes 40 doses of benadryl and claims to have seen the hatwoman, the hatman but woke. And then posts a news article about missing people in his apmt complex after getting relentlessly mocked.

Yes I know Path to Victory could easily suppress it, but I don't think rumors are enough to warrant the time and energy to actually suppress properly unless Contessa genuinely cared about that.

Contessa & Khepri Puppet Turnarounds!

Hey all! I figure I should share what's been taking me so long to post about! I'm working on putting together some animation puppet rigs for Contessa & Khepri! I'm trying to animate a favorite scene of mine that involves them both! I'm sure you can figure out which one ;]

If you like, feel free to leave me suggestions/tweaks! These designs aren't super final, just some guidelines to follow as I go into vectoring in the artwork. Enjoy!

Taylor was very impressed with the Campanile fire extinguisher.

The fire extinguisher is Taylor's main weakness.
