Was looking up William of Orange on Wikipedia as one does and found this cool 19th century painting of Philipp II manhandling him.
Cornelis Kruseman: Philips II beschuldigt prins Willem van Oranje te Vlissingen bij zijn vertrek uit de Nederlanden in 1559, 1832
Anyway check out little Carlos locking eyes with little (unnamed courtier) in the corner there, this painter clearly read and understood the Schiller play.
The other guys on the Spanish side might also be Schiller dudes, who knows. Alba with the slashed sleeve, inquisitor in red, Ruy Gomez behind the king where he belongs.
Also notable that (unnamed courtier)'s face very much has this type of lighting situation going on:

From Wikipedia Picture of the Day; February 2, 2018:
Johannes van den Bosch (February 2, 1780–January 28,1844) was a Dutch officer and politician who served variously as Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies (1830–1833), commander of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army, and Minister of Colonies (1834–1840). He introduced a regulation making the Constitution of the Netherlands apply in the West Indies, as well as the Cultivation System in the East Indies.

Of One Heart, 19??, Museum of the Netherlands
Cornelis Kruseman was sometimes called ‘Italian Kruseman’ owing to his love for Italian art. After spending time in Rome (1821-1825), he worked in the Netherlands in the idealized style that he knew from Italy. This trio of young musicians in folk costume is a fine example of this. In contrast to Piety, also in this gallery, by the time Kruseman painted Of One Heart, he had virtually abandoned Dutch realism.
