ouh i cant see the first one but yes yes i remember the other one. the comments were extremely unhelpful though, it's a pity, i used to have a link to the artist's deviant art and stuff (or at least it was a mechpreg art collection on deviant art, that had several of these kinds of images)

Hello! I'm a fairly new follower, I was wooed by the cursedformers poll and I have got to say I love Drillburst so much! His story and design are both wonderful! I'd like to ask, what would he think about my guy Halcyon?

There are two designs there, not by accident. The one on the left is Halcyon. He is a space shuttle/troop transport triple changer, and he's trained as a field medic. He's an Autobot. I would describe his personality as a "gentle giant", and he doesn't like to fight, under any circumstances except for when he must in order to protect a patient in his care. He's nervous and withdrawn in his personality, and he's very aware of how his strength and size can make him intimidating to others.

The design on the right is Exonova. Exonova is the identity Halcyon scrapped when he defected from the Decepticons once he could no longer maintain apathy to the horrors he was party to/committed. He also happens to be a Phase Sixer. Exonova wasn't like Overlord in that sense- he didn't take joy in killing and certainly wouldn't drag it out, being more bored with it than anything else. Halcyon recognises that he was a monster, once, and desperately wants to put it behind him and be better. He's made a sort of bargain with himself- every life he can save as a medic, is one death taken off his conscience. It doesn't stop them from keeping him awake.

Being with a phase sixer seems to be something Drill seems to be good at... between Black Shadow and Overlord, and now Halcyon, though he's technically an ex? In most other instances it's a curse, but he'd respect Halcyon's decision, definitely. He could've been a lot worse. And changing from a world-razing decepticon to an autobot field medic is respectable to him, biases about the faction aside. He gets the feeling of being sick of killing and death, it's hard. Fortunately Halcyon's size and strength wouldn't intimidate Drillburst for specific reasons (sizewise he's almost OL's height himself, so I'm assuming they'd be roughly level with each other), but the nervousness and withdrawn personality might hinder them from forming a strong bond off the bat? There's potential, though.

Drill's view on phase sixers was always 'never ask, never mind' - essentially, acknowledge they're top of the line superwarriors, but don't dig deep into it. It was like that for the previous two he met, but with Halcyon it might be different. He might ask a couple of things about what it was like, only if the other was comfortable (and if they told him they were a p6 in the first place). He might ask Halcyon about Overlord, but he would never insinuate that he shared any history with him.
