I've kept so many old stories, it's crazy... I played with these two for a long time too :) in this story they were married and had to leave the city because of a meteorite storm (yes, I had an idea like that back then too, until years later I found the destroyed version of SV to download)^^. The two had a few children, including a PlantSim girl named Tulipa. The story dragged on for a while. Until I got to a point where I was just having crashes with their save game. Then I gave up. There were so many things still open. Well, you can't have everything...

This is a rotational gameplay in Bridgeport I've revamped, I'll switch households every one or two days.

Holly and Cycl0n3 got married and raised three children by Nraas SP in my current legacy save. I gave them some makeovers and moved them into this city.

Gill, the older daughter of Holly and Cycl0n3, lives in an apartment in downtown Bridgeport.

Reminiscing about the first time I played The Sims 3, and it was kinda bittersweet actually?

I’d given The Sims 2 a good three years of my life ( four if you count my stint on the console version ), either way quite the commitment at a time when most games I played were one and done experiences. So I was understandably a bit reluctant to move onto another installment, although still mostly excited to check it out since the gaming industry at the time was pretty active and exciting, and trying new things was actually fun.

So I waved my TS2 family goodbye, it was a single recently divorced mom, who left her husband bc he cheated on her with his coworker, which I should’ve figured would happen considering when they met, and began dating, I found out shortly after that he was already engaged, and the woman he was engaged to was the woman that kept knocking over their trash can.

This definitely convinced me TS3 was going to have some pretty big shoes to fill, but it was base game TS3 vs TS2 with all its packs, so I gave it some grace. I made my first sim, she was a rlly cute thanks to a Peggyzone hair I downloaded off of the booty I think ( if it was even up atp, I was about a year into its release ) anyway. She lived in one of those modern beach houses in Sunset Valley, and the first sim she met was Cycl0n3 Sw0rd at the bistro, and he would not leave her alone, in a very creeper way.

Luckily she met someone else about a week in. Some guy in a muscle shirt, real cute for a pudding sim surprisingly. They hit it off, got pretty close to going steady, until one day at the park, they kissed and another woman approached him angry as hell…

Turns out they were engaged.

Still playing The Sims 3 to this day.

after a messy breakup with his first girlfriend, blair, cycl0n3 made the decision to get out of his comfort zone and leave sunset valley behind for a fresh start. initially he headed for san myshuno but being the socially anxious loner that he is, he couldn't handle the bustling crowds of people and constant noise. instead he found a small town just outside of san-my, got himself an "it'll do" apartment and used his computer smarts to get a job with a startup tech company where he has very little in person communication.

he did however get over his socially anxious tendencies just enough to go and adopt svynx from the local shelter.

(when i was a kid and only had base game, i thought cycl0n3 was a really evil sim because of his name so i wouldn’t let my sims interact with him EVER and the one time my sim did talk to him i deleted the save file 😭)

growing up on horror movies, i had a short battle royale phase. i confess i've never read or watched the hunger games series but i need to.

i'll take the young adults and adults from sunset valley instead.

it gets morbid.

morgana and thornton start bickering. morgana k*lls thornton in a fit of rage and panic and this triggers her transformation into a stone cold killer. she didn't want to... but she has to do what it takes to survive.

jamie jolina seems like the archetypal final girl, but she's morgana's next victim.

hank and pauline get picked off almost immediately. sorry. i just don't think they'd make smart choices.

cycl0n3 sw0rd does pretty well. this is just like those strategic survival video games he plays. he breaks one of the rules of the competition by trying to hack the system or leave the arena or something, so he gets offed by production for his offense. the tracker collar around his neck blows up or something idk.

agnes crumplebottom: classic femme fatale, she lures the male participants somewhere, seduces them, then gets rid of them. she'll go pretty far. she'll bring in the ratings.

molly french and fiona mcirish: they refuse to participate in the fighting. they go out thelma and louise style.

the altos and landgraabs: they try to get over their differences and stick together for the sake of survival. nick and vita get some k*lls in, while geoffrey and nancy observe. but due to paranoia and suspicion, they eventually betray each other in mutual destruction. the remaining survivor from the altercation gets picked off by one of the other competitors.

the audience cheers when xander clavell gets eliminated.

leighton sekemoto emerges as the "alpha male" that viewers root for. he's wholesome and sympathetic and can handle himself.

erin kennedy is the one most likely to win the competition and the audience's favour. she's in the military so she's tough and knows how to handle herself but she's also not an evil killer. she is relatable and sympathetic. the audience will root for her to win against all odds.

Even if there hasn't been any new snow so far, it's still been difficult to get through the snow that has fallen so far and become hard due to the cold.. „Thornton? That's quite a surprise. I've never seen you here before."/ ”Yes, I rarely come by this area. I wanted to talk to Cy, is he there?"/ ‘Sure, come in’.

.Thornton was let into the house by Emma. And he was surprised that it was so tidy here. “I always thought people in shared flats were always totally messy, I was expecting mountains of laundry here…"/ ”hnhn, no, the women are so good at making sure nothing gets left lying around. What gives us the honor of your visit?".

The most important question on Thornton's mind was about the accessibility of the internet. “After Alto finally came out with his honesty, I did some tests and checks. We're safe again. then I made sure the connection is free to use again, any time of day or night. didn't they tell you?"/ ‘Apparently not, Au man, and my wife also thought we only had the one hour in the evening.’/ ‘hnhn, I see’.

“It would have been great if we'd been informed about it earlier"/ ‘I'm sorry that it wasn't gotten through to you yet…’/ ”Yeah, fuck it. And what about now? When will we finally get help? Some contacts must have already been made"/ ”yes, and there have already been some answers. But more from relatives than from the government."/ ‘What the fuck is going on there?’.

“If so many relatives and ftiends have already been contacted, as you say, then something should really get rolling, shouldn't it?"/ ”Sure, I agree with you. But apparently the people outside still have to check the credibility of what regards us here"/ ”What nonsense. Surely someone out there will have something to say and be able to help us”.

While Thornton is venting his displeasure, Blair and Emma are talking outside. “Where's Connor anyway?"/ ”He's trying to keep an eye on the supplies left in the gym. It's all counted out and no one should help themselves to too much"/ ‘I don't think he'll be able to keep track of it for long’.

“Believe me, he'd rather have something else to do than just hang over his writing pad all the time. If he spends too much time in the house, he gets grumpy"/ ”hnhn. But he's still very nice and has his quiet side"/ ‘hn, yeah, that's why I like him’.

Cy: “I've also written a few messages to people who I think will make sure we get help here as quickly as possible. But I also think that the winter could make things a bit more difficult now"/ ‘yeah great, there's going to be a baby boom here soon and at some point there'll be nothing to eat…. Hh, thanks for the info about the internet, then I can use my wife's laptop tonight.’.

After he had unloaded enough frustration,, Thornton became a little calmer and more thoughtful, which prompted Cy to ask how he was doing. “Is everything else okay with you? Is your little one well… And Sam?"/ ‘Our girl can't be well enough, she's a happy little baby, and Sam, well, not so well at the moment…’/ ‘Is he ill?’. Thornton knew he shouldn't talk about it yet, but he was still too upset. “No, he's… He's grieving for his grandmother"/ ‘I beg your pardon? Is she…’/ ‘Yes, but it's still unofficial’.

“unofficially? No one knows about it yet? How long has she been…"/ ”Only a few hours. Sam, he… He predicted yesterday that she would die today. And that's exactly what happened…"/ ‘W-really?’/ ”I know, sounds pretty weird. But apparently he's something of a messiah. And Morgana said something about a hypersensi-thing” .

“Hypersensitivity. Yes, I know something like that, I've read a lot about it and I've heard of people who have it and have developed special abilities as a result."/ ‘I see, well, it makes me nervous, I don't want to know when I'm going to die.’/ ”You're not going to die that quickly either, my friend. And what about…"/ ”Yumi? She's gone. Disappeared into thin air, so to speak. You'd better get information about everything else from Morgana or Sam. But don't tell anyone else for now, I was so stupid and couldn't keep my mouth shut.”

Cy had to smile a little at his statement. “So as far as secrets go, I'm like a Pandora's box… everything gets in, but not out"/ ”Must be a burden… knowing all the secrets. I think I'd burst at some point"/ ”hnhn. I don't have to deal with every single one of them. I'm just a good friend who doesn't blurt everything out again, hn”… Thornton understood his hint and had to laugh a little at himself. “haha… thanks for now, see you around”.

Thornton slowly made his way home again. He wondered who he would contact first. A former business partner? An old friend? So far, he had never used the evening Internet hour; his family had been more important to him in recent months. And now there were more options again…

Freeplay

Since I can't seem to concentrate on anything right now (burning sensation in my fingertips - something called peripheral neuropathy). So I'm amusing myself in a freeplay where River and Haruo are married, have over §15M simoleons and own a nice as-yet unfinished home... (yeah, like my late RL dad - Yasunobu works in a glass window manufacturing company...and has plenty of spare glass that he's donated to Haruo's new home - floor to ceiling storm windows)...

in 5 Summerhill Court (yes, toney rich neighbourhood).

I just realized the McIrish women were fertile. Evidently River's mom is now pregnant with Cycl0n3 Sw0rd's baby and River's aunt who is married to Haruo's dad is now pregnant. So when Fiona and Aoife give birth, both Haruo and River get new siblings. God help us if River gets pregnant. Their kid's aunt/uncle can have play sessions with him/her. And something tells me that's going to happen sooner or later with the way River's "wants to woohoo with Haruo" keeps popping up.

Jeezuz...well at least they're getting happiness points out of it.

Evidently, Parker Langerak, having lost out on River McIrish (who is married to Haruo) has now decided to become a "corrupt" politician. The guy was caught taking bribes from the Alto family to "look the other way".

I think I might do a makeover on Parker just to get him looking not so "meh". I've already gotten him into a proper dress pants/shirt and tie so that he looks the part of a politician. I'm debating whether or not to keep his earrings or not - I'm not an earrings kind of guy. Back when I was growing up, earrings labelled you as a **g (no, we weren't politically correct back then either). Parker AFAIK is straight.

Moved his cheekbones a little higher to make him look better but still keep him recognizable as a Langarak and changed his skin to kurasoberina Primer HD+.

Since Parker is an adult and a corrupt politician and the Chikamoris don't want any corrupt politicians in their family, I'll have to figure out someone else to match Maegyn up with.

Lil' Maegyn getting some "boy-advice" from her big sis, River. I'm going to figure out how to bring Maegyn into the actual legacy as well as Aoife but for right now, I'm just playing with them in the Freeplay.

When River isn't playing hide-the-sausage with Haruo...she's usually in front of her easel painting. Well...she'd better get that painting done while she can. If they keep playing that sausage-game...they're going to end up with...

a screaming, squalling "takes eighteen years to get rid of" sexually transmitted infection.
