these guys are still VERY big wips but i just had to show em here bc i think they’re so so silly. info about them below da cut ⬇️

tiny bit of context: in perraria lore shimmer water leads to an alternate universe where shit is just Different.. haven’t fully come up w shimmered versions of all of the main 4 yet but so far i have shimmered joi (jolene) and shimmered ace (avery)

JOLENE (left):

summon main, mostly uses sentries (as opposed to jois staffs. she still uses whips though like her original counterpart)

probably works as some sorta scout for fighters nation’s evil biome purification squad? like she goes around all those little islands around the main 3 continents to see if there’s any corruption/crimsion/hallow

the complete opposite of joi; very stern and authoritative (for all you mbti FREAKS out there she’s an ENTJ which is the complete opposite of jois mbti (ISFP))

hella strong morals! overall a very intense (and kind of scary?) lady

Chance Encounter by SweetLittleVampire

(without a link to dA this time; apparently tumblr messes up posts with links to outside sources. My dA is linked on my blog though.)

So I thought it was time to send my poor neglected Layton OC on an adventure. Her name´s Charlotte Greaves. She is 14 years old, and her mother works at Gressenheller University. I posted her bio under the Read More in case you´re interested. In this scene you can see her waiting for her mother outside of Gressenheller University. She had lost her beloved pendant, and was absolutely devastated that she could not find it after searching literally the whole building. The reason for this being that Luke had found it. As he and Layton were leaving the building, they found Charlotte, crying on a bench, so the Professoor and Luke walked up to her to see if they could be of any assistance. So she told them what happened, and Luke was able to return the pendant, while Layton finally got to know his colleague´s daughter. Maybe I´ll type soething up for this; I´m not too sure yet. Hair Style: Long hair, curling up into massive coils. Most of the time she ties two small sections of the front back to the crown of her head and secures them with a ribbon, matching her dress.

Scars: quite a few large ones on her shins

Clothing: Charlotte loves softer colours and likes to combine them with more saturated tones, or vice versa. She prefers dresses and skirts over trousers, and likes to combine the with a long-sleeved blouse or a jacket when it´s colder. Her favourite dresses are the yellow one with the blue Peter Pan collar, a pale green one, and her baby pink one. She always wears stockings or high socks to cover up her scars, no matter how warm it is.

Accessories: She almost always adds a bow to her outfit. She also wears a golden necklace with a locket attached to it, but she hides it under her clothes most of the time. It containes a picture of her father and her younger brother.

PERSONALITY AND BACKSTORY

Charlotte seems like a very sweet and soft-spoken girl. When she talks, it´s always in a calm and quiet fashion, though when one gets to know her better, it becomes clear that she´s very clever and witty. She loves puns and making jokes. She loosely socialises with everyone, but rarely has more than two or three real friends, which she loves dearly and is very loyal to. It takes her a while to make new friends. She´s always friendly to strangers, but will let you know if she dislikes you, either by telling you, or by ignoring you.

Her main hobbies are reading and learning new things. She´s always curious about what´s going on around her, and sometimes she digs too deep and ends up in situations she should probably not deal with. So far nothing bad has resulted out of this though.

She never gets loud when she gets angry - on the contrary. If she starts to whisper, you know it´s time to run. She knows how to win a verbal duel, though she would probably lose a physical fight.

Charlotte´s dream was to become a professional ballet dancer when she grows up, and her parents supported her, so she began taking classes at the young age of four. Her dream got cut short though when she was eight years old: her father picked her and her younger brother up from school, and they got into a terrible car crash, which only she survived. Her legs were fractured badly, and while they healed well and she can walk normally without hardly any pain, doctors advised her to stop taking ballet classes. She can dance casually, at a party for instance, but she can´t do more than that without being in pain. Likewise, running becomes painful if she has to do it for too long, though she often ignores the pain. The scars on her legs are leftovers of said accident.

Charlotte is afraid of riding in a car or a bus. She can do it, but would rather avoid it. She goes to school by bicycle. Trains and planes are fine, though.

She believes in the supernatural and claims that she sometimes speaks with ghosts. Her mother believes that talking to her deceased father and sibling probably helps her cope with all of it.

Charlotte´s mother, Jolene Greaves (who never took her maiden name back but kept her husband´s name), is in charge of the Gressenheller University´s archaeological fund and collections. Basically what she does is register every piece that is stored there, organises their storage and transportation when they are being exhibited, and contacts restoration teams. It´s a tedious job, but she loves it. Although Charlotte is old enough to stay at home on her own until her mum comes home, Jolene likes to bring her daughter along to work sometimes. Charlotte can then be spotted in the cafeteria, in the library, outside in the university´s park when the weather is nice, or even in a lecture hall if she manages to sneak in.

Oh yeah, I mentioned that a while ago.

So, the original idea was that my persona was kidnapped as a child by a cheap science group. It’s original purpose was to see how much stress one could put on a child, but when people started donating, it got out of hand.

Out of hand as in they discontinued the stress tests, and tried to see if they could do gene modifications, like pigments of skin, eyes, hair, etc. (I don’t know jack shit about science, so idk if this can actually be done.)

Sacred’s original name was supposed to be my name, but I already had an OC with my first name, so, as of now, it’s Maria Abreo.

Sacred showed much promise to the scientists, but why stop at one child? Why not two, or ten, or even one hundred? (They stopped at 14, makes it less suspicious.)

Sacred was the only one who had grey skin, black eyes, and black hair.

Everyone else had splotches of their original skin colour with different shades of white/grey/sometimes black, one eye could be white/grey/black while the other was normal, and their hair looked like a bad hair dye, colours being, you guessed it, white/grey/black.

(Side note: her DNA was used for trying to make the rest of the children like her. Again, have no clue whether this actually works or not.)

The scientists jokingly called them “stick figures”, but they mainly called them “Stigures”.

One of the more important ones were Kathy Grace, whom was #6, and Jolene Oasis, whom was #7. Since I’m not making this, I’m saying right now, they die trying to escape.

Sacred, now in her full Stigure form, was heartbroken about how little they cared of their own escape, but how much they deeply cared about her. (Their brains recognized Sacred as an important figure in their lives, but it’s not like Sacred knew.)

Long story short, Sacred ran off with her remaining “siblings” and started her own rule, which is where the book idea of ‘The Game of Life’ comes into play where Sacred and an older boy, (whom she dubbed her brother), are the princess and king, respectively.

But these are all discontinued, and now Sacred’s just from another universe where Stigures replaced humans, and has a twin sister named Holy, along with a shit load of friends, some of which are half animal and ghosts. :)

Os palcos de Paris eram pequenos para a enorme atração que era Jolene! De uma simples dançarina de rua até o Moulin Rouge, a mulher foi conquistando corações. Foi em uma noite estrelada na cidade francesa que ela conheceu Andrew Ryan, e ele se apaixonou. Pelo menos foi o que ele disse naquela noite. Próximo de descer para Rapture, convidou a mulher no impulso, e depois não pode mudar de ideia. Em Rapture, o Eve's Garden tendo sido fundado, Jolene viu-se continuando a fazer o que amava: dançar. No entanto, o seu local de trabalho foi tomando outros rumos, e ela começou a ser obrigada a dormir com alguns homens poderosos da cidade. É claro que Ryan não gostou nada disso, mas ela precisava do dinheiro. Menosprezada pelo fundador da cidade, está com o coração partido até hoje. Tenta manter-se feliz com a dança, mas ainda falta, quem sabe, uma nova paixão que vá tirá-la do inferno que está agora.
