alright so i’ve had my nose piercing for about a month, and i got a ring right away. one of the reasons why i got it (especially the ring part) is cause my mom also has a nose ring and her and i are really close so i wanted to get mine, on the same side too, because of her.

when i first got it and i got home and really looked at it, it was realllllly weird….like my heart kinda dropped cause i thought “oh my gosh i should’ve told him to pierce it farther back/left/right etc.” and i was worried it looked weird and all of that, because i’m a worry wort. but, i got a ton of compliments and those who i explained my placement worry to, they said they thought the placing was fine. even my friend who has a nose ring said she thought the same thing when she got hers pierced. so it’s gonna be new and it’s gonna be different but chances are, you’re overthinking shksbdks i’m not worried about it at all now! :-)

as for the pain, it really doesn’t hurt dbksndks like i think i have a pretty……average??? pain tolerance???????? i mean i used to get my hair cornrowed every 3 months and i have black hair……..meaning my hair is really fucking painful to deal with 90% of the time, and yeah i think i have a pretty good/average pain tolerance….the worst part for me, was when he stuck the needle through. he told me to take a deep breath and then release it (which is when he stabbed my nose), and it really just kinda……felt warm??? there was a slight throb but then it just kinda went numb after that, even when he was putting the ring in and messing with it. and then when i was cleaning the piercing later that day, it hurt a little bit but not much…..to me the “pain” wasn’t really pain but like, just uncomfortable y’know?? but yeah it really doesn’t hurt that bad and it’s over quick hdkjfsg i was expecting a lot more tbh
