A collection of amazing hip-hop songs and artists to discover and enjoy.

March 2023 - DJ Newmark has always been incredibly active musically, and it's hard to keep track of his endeavors because he always seems busy and willing to keep doing something new and exciting! In addition to releasing his music, DJ Newmark is also a well-known radio personality. He hosts his very own show, The DJ Newmark Experience. His radio segment is an amazing opportunity for people to discover some new music and get some hip-hop classics to enjoy! What makes the artist's sound so special is that he offers a throwback of R&B vibes, making his hip-hop formula all the more melodic and fun to listen to.

His most recent release, "Hot Tracks," happens to be a double album, which features amazing singles such as "I'm A Boss," as well as "No More Waiting" and "How Can I?" This album has 19 tracks on it. This is particularly remarkable, especially in this day and age. Today, we're living in an era of singles, when many artists tend to release one song at a time in the hopes of triggering the algorithms of streaming services. They don't understand that they might miss out on the opportunity to create a deeper connection with people by giving them a fuller listening experience that only an album can give. In this case, we're not just talking about an album but an actual double LP! There is also room for a few radio edits and an intro track. This is not an album in the traditional sense because it features DJ Newmark introducing some of the best emcees on the scene. Each track is an opportunity for the DJ to showcase a different artist, and as a result, the sound of this album is incredibly diverse. Each artist has something special to offer, and the overall vibe is that of an old-school mixtape: it's alive, raw, and so full of energy!

"Hot Tracks" seems to be an excellent example of his creative attitude and yet another amazing taste of how far creativity can get this talented DJ, especially when working with other talented people in the rap game.

This studio work features some genuine old-school hip-hop influences, which aren't exactly traditional since DJ Newmark is always ready to try adding new elements to the mix. For example, "Hot Tracks" might impress you with a healthy dose of groove and some powerful and dynamic vibes. If you like artists like E-40, Ice Cube, Jodeci, and DMX, you can probably get a good idea of what I am talking about! What makes "Hot Tracks" so special is that the release stays true to DJ Newmark's personality and vision, but it also sets the bar higher in terms of growth and taking music to the next level. Ultimately, DJ Newmark is doing something amazing. Not only is he delivering an album filled with 19 high-quality rap bangers. He is also showcasing many talented artists who deserve an audience and a larger platform and an opportunity for their music to be heard by more people.
