Reveal gone wrong. Except jack and Maddie can’t find themselves to experiment or physical hurt Danny. It may not be their son.
But he looks so much like him. How it talks and even it’s speech patterns.
They can’t turn it over to the Giw. They’d know they touched it.
But they can’t keep the reminder here. There son. Danny was gone.
Sending it back to the zone didn’t work. It just comes back pleading with them. That he’s still Danny. That he is still alive. Nonsense of being half alive.
It doesn’t realize it’s just a ball of emotions not truly sentient at all.
The only logical step. Seal its powers and send it to a separate dimension. It’s easy enough to trick the being claiming they believed it and gave it a “safety” bracelet to “contact them”.
So with its powers disabled. They sent the poor thing off. Maybe some poor sap in the new dimension may believe it’s alive.
#dpxdc#jack and Maddie send Danny away#like harshly#convinced him they believe him#then yeets him away#they don’t tell jazz what happened#clearly he ran away#he didn’t love us#obviously#jazz and co don’t believe them#he could end up anywhere in dc#technically any dimension#Danny can’t get the braclet off#he is stuck human#which causes its own issues#Danny nearly froze to death without using his powers after all#his core needs to be released#with Danny’s luck he probably land smack dab in the middle of a villan fight#no way to protect himself#poor Danny#bad parents jack and maddie#they just don’t believe him#obviously his obsession was staying alive#why else would it claim it was Danny

Phantom VS Plasmius: Flaming Blizzard over Amity Park
So, I wrote The Summoning to fullfil my desire for a fic where Danny is summoned by someone as a ghost in an occult ritual. I ended it with this big ass battle over Amity Park between all three halfas and special guests. Who wants to see it? Show of hands! this is also goin as a dedicated scene to @ibelieveinahappilyeverafter and @cheshire-kas my lovely sisters who i owe for inspiring me to write fanfiction. enjoy, sisters!
Phantom launched a missile of pure blue ectoplasm at Plasmius and formed a duplicate to carry Sam and Tucker to the ground. Plasmius deflected the attack with his sword and raised the weapon to attack the young hero. His slash was slowed by the ice that now coated his weapon, pushed back by Phantom's will. Phantom formed a broadsword from ice cold ectoplasm in his right hand and swung it up to block Plasmius' attack while kicking the vampiric halfa in the chest and launching him away. The air was tinged green and snow began to fall as Phantom flung himself forward and slashed at his enemy's arm, blocked in reflex more than conscious thought. "Dismemberment isn't exactly the way of a superhero, Daniel." Plasmius hissed down at his young opponent and found only hatred in the pools of ice that glared up at him. The younger halfa pushed against Plasmius' sword in an attempt to break it, but Plasmius held up a hand coated in flames.
Before he could burn Phantom, the duplicate that set down Sam and Tucker lodged a pair of knives in the chinks of his pauldrons. When Plasmius flung a fireball at the copy, it vanished, and his young opponent brought his sword down onto the slightly exposed blue flesh of Plasmius' neck. The elder halfa turned into a cloud of smoke and reappeared several meters away, studying Phantom carefully.
"The ideals of the modern hero don't apply here, Plasmius. You killed the Fright Knight, a loyal warrior who was only doing his best to help me find others like us." Phantom's voice reverberated throughout the park and snowflakes began to clump together near Plasmius. "As Prince of the Spirit World, I judge you guilty of murder, and sentence you to your final death." Shards of razor sharp ice flew towards the joints and seams of Plasmius' armor, and the halfa was forced to create a bubble of plasma to protect himself. The shield burned away the ice shards, but a spear of blue ectoplasm drilled through and struck his shoulder, dislodging the protective plate on the vampiric spirit's shoulder.
Some of the snow turned to steam as waves of heat poured off of Plasmius and flames crackled along the edges of his sword. He sliced the spear in half, grabbed the end in his bubble, and flung it back with the shield wrapped around it.
Phantom ducked out of the way of the spear and formed another, this one coated in frost as he charged at his enemy, eyes burning like a blue star. His ice met flames and thunder shook the clouds, a green sky stained purple. "Who do you think you are, boy? Condemning me as though you had any authority. It's laughable!" An armored knee struck Phantom's less thickly armored gut and pushed him back. The flaming metal hit close to the prince's head but cut a line in his own shoulder plate instead. Blazing plasma shot out of his eyes and pushed Plasmius back into the air, where Phantom formed clawed gauntlets and zoomed around his foe. The hero faded from sight, and lines of frost lined the red-clad spirit's armor as he was slashed at from near every angle. Fire exploded outwards before swirling into a storm of ectoplasm that burned the invisible duplicates that Phantom had swarming him. The real Phantom was snagged on a chain of ectoplasm and yanked towards the elder halfa, who rammed a fist into Phantom's helmed face so hard that not only did the metal bend but his jaw dislocated. Phantom went flying, and through the pain, he didn't have enough time to phase harmlessly through the first wall of the building he hit. Thankfully, he had a high tolerance for pain and managed to pass through the next ones without trouble.
Pushing his jaw back into place, Phantom traced a shield out with energy and as soon as he was out of the building, a blue dome of ectoplasm formed to defend against the flaming blade that nearly disarmed him. The shield cracked under the force of the blade striking it and Phantom flew back, a ball of plasma flying from his hand as he formed a new weapon. Nunchuks twirled around him as he faded once again from visibility and waited. Plasmius deflected the projectile and spears of white, flaming ectoplasm shot out in all directions. They swerved around the buildings when the mayor realized that he had been tricked, but that was all the time that Phantom needed to smack him in the face with his newly solidified weapon. All parts of it quickly cooled into greenish blue metal thanks to Phantom's cold powers, and he used this to his advantage, slamming the blunt weapon against his opponent's head and putting a dent in the helmet before ducking under a swing of his sword and wrapping the chain around Plasmius' gauntlet. "One shooting star, ready to hit its target." He flung the elder halfa to the street and felt a grin grace his features when Plasmius hit concrete. "Aliens really need to stop launching rocks at our planet, it's basically named rock already."
Plasmius dug hands that were glowing with heat into the concrete below him, cut through it like a hot knife through butter, and tossed the molten rock at the younger halfa. Phantom weaved out of the way of the projectiles and shot a flurry of his own. The chain of his Nunchuk glowed brightly and expanded as Phantom swung it like a whip, catching Plasmius' leg. Plasmius pulled his leg back, dragging Phantom down with the force of the action, and swung a wave of fire at the young hero. Phantom pushed through with a burst of cold and slammed his fist into Plasmius' face, only to have his punch caught in a gauntlet so hot that his own began to melt. Spears of ice rained down on the two, and while Phantom vanished in a puff of smoke, Plasmius was struck a dozen times.
Flames danced around the enraged Plasmius, who rocketed into the air with a roar. He spewed a river of fire and pushed the hero higher into the air. Phantom launched countless shards of ice at his flaming enemy, only for them to turn into steam when they came within a meter of him. Another column of fired out of his palm into the flames, causing thunder to crash between them and clouds to form. Phantom phased through the cloud and split into three. One of him had clawed gauntlets, while another had a spear, and the original held another broadsword in his hands. The Phantoms circled around Plasmius' ectosignature before launching their attack. The brawling Phantom charged forward and jabbed furiously at the elder halfa's face, blocking the sword that nearly bisected him with his gauntlets. As the ice cracked, it spread over the blade and his fist connected with Plasmius' shoulder. Another blade pierced his core, and the duplicate vanished while a spear blade decapitated the Plasmius copy that killed him. His spear was twirled around, the shaft smacking away a blast before a wave of cold swept out and struck the backup copy. Plasmius made to slice the spear wielder vertically in half but was stopped when a hammer made of ice cold ectoplasm slammed into his knee, denting the metal. Another vortex of fire raged around the angered halfa, who then swung it at the younger like a whip. The sword in Phantom's hand was melted, and the whip smacked the helmet off of the halfa's face.
Phantom fell several feet before steadying himself, raising a barrier to deflect the molten ectoplasm raining down on him. He couldn't move out of the way right now, too aware that Sam and Tucker were currently just below him, fighting off weaker copies of Plasmius. If he moved right now, they'd burn. Instead, the superhero focused on the cold air around him, and his aura flared out like a star that refused to die. The wind picked up and spun around him before pushing out against the meteors that wore away his shield.
Phantom might have gotten somewhere with that if Plasmius hadn't dropped down and stabbed straight through the barrier. It shattered from the sudden breach and Phantom was flung to the ground. He saw Sam dispelling copy after copy with the Soul Shredder and her ectopistol, while Tucker kept them shielded and provided heavier firepower with his gauntlet. Danny then saw darkness and was met with the discomfort and strangeness of phasing through the crust of the earth. When he finally surfaced, he was met with a boot to the face, launching him into a tree. Before the blade could pierce his core, Phantom saw a gold and white light wrap around Plasmius' sword and hold him back. This was such a shock to both of them that for a moment, both halfas were still.
Danny shot up like a rocket and felt the elder's jaw break under the force of his uppercut. The water in the clouds above turned into countless knives, shuriken, and blades made of ice. Phantom made a pair of hammers and shot his enemy up into the whirlwind of ice and dispelled the weapons. The ice fell from Phantom's armor as he concentrated, and shone like a star. The blades of ice mimicked their master, before swarming Plasmius. Each edge, lined with ectoplasmic power, struck the ancient armor before flying off into the rest of the blizzard. Plasmius burned like a torch in the night, but almost as soon as a blade evaporated, it froze back into a weapon. Phantom's eyes grew blank blue, and some of the knives became swords that struck at Plasmius with skill and precision, forcing him to dodge and parry the attacks that were truly deadly. "This is far more lethal force than I've seen you willing to exert Daniel! Was the Fright Knight really so dear to you?"
"Be silent, you filthy murderer!" A wave of heat melted away all of the ice weapons, but the water continued to swirl around him. The flames were extinguished, and ice covered the vampiric half ghost. "You have taken a life that was not yours to take, planned to take that of my father, and want to rape my mother!" The ice covering Plasmius' left arm cracked and splintered as it pressed inward against the metal. "You try to turn me against my loved ones, you unleash a living storm to boost your approval ratings, you let out one of the greatest threat to both worlds because you wanted power! You have money, you have politics, you have supernatural abilities that humans couldn't dream of before the portal opened! What more power do you need, Plasmius?" The gauntlet cracked as the cold seeped in past the heat. That was all Phantom needed, as the metal shattered between the blazing heat and deathly cold.
Plasmius cried out in pain and shattered the rest of the ice with force instead of heat. He ripped the gauntlet off and tried to yank the metal shards out of his arm. The metal was cooled ectoplasm so thick and charged that he couldn't phase through it. Unfortunately, he didn't get the chance, as a giant sword of ice fused with ectoplasm nearly sliced off his arm. Crimson light flew from his eyes and shattered the blade, ectoplasm covering his arm to protect it. He zoomed away from the storm and growled to himself. "Who do you think you are, Daniel, attacking and judging me as though you were a king or a god? I am above you! I am the one who locked Pariah away in the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep! If anyone should take the title from that victory, it should be me!"
Spears and knives flew towards Plasmius from all angles, forcing him to parry and dodge as he shot out of the storm. A flurry of fire melted away the weapons, and he found the room to move as he rose above the clouds. Plasmius began to remove the shards of metal with the ectoplasm coating them.
Phantom took a deep breath and sent another flurry of blades down to the earth, this time piercing the army of shadow copies that Plasmius had left behind to try and kill Tucker and Sam. "So, who are you and what is that power that you're using? Not a lot of things could stop Plasmius so easily." Phantom turned to stare at a tall blond man with tan skin and high cheek bones. His eyes were glowing silvery white and golden yellow.
"My name's Josh Pate, and this power is magic," the man held out a hand covered by a leather glove. He was currently decked out like a ranger from an RPG game, and Phantom had to fight off a laugh at his outfit. "Magic is life energy, ectoplasm is charged by death energy. If I had tried any harder, I'm pretty sure he would have exploded." A sword glowed white, and gold in his left hand and Phantom covered his own armor in ice once more. "It looks to me like you aren't doing much damage."
"I'm aware," Phantom growled, turning to glare up at his old enemy. Plasmius' arm seemed to be healed up now, and the armor was... "OH COME ON! Armor can't have a healing factor too, that's just not fair!" Dark blue light coated Phantom's body, and he snarled under his helmet. "He's probably mad that I broke his jaw too. Think you can blow him up with some magical discharge?"
"I don't plan to destroy Amity Park with the equivalent of an antimatter bomb, thank you very much." Josh scoffed and shook his head, pulling the hood of his ranger outfit down. "However, I can use the magic to help you out. If you use magic and ectoplasm together, it can probably boost your power enough to take him out."
"I thought you said matter and antimatter?" Phantom formed a sword and concentrated energy into it. A small snowstorm began to form around the blade. "I'd rather not blow myself up just to execute Plasmius."
"Well, if the will of the opposing powers is to help each other, not to harm, it's more like a video game power-up than a toxic mix of charges waiting to go off." The glowing magic sword was pointed at the small of Phantom's back and Josh closed his eyes. "Do I have your permission to enhance your power with magic?"
Plasmius formed spears and meteors that filled the sky with dancing flames. The green of the ectoplasm in the atmosphere had turned crimson, and everything appeared to be on fire. "Only he with real power can condemn others to death, Daniel! I shall melt you into a puddle of ectoplasm and remake you as my own!"
"I consent, I consent, do it now!"
"Idecnok njui ed jaim jotrof la Motnahp!" White and golden light surged into Phantom like lightning and spread over his form, blending with his aura. At first, the halfa screamed. His voice pierced the crackling flames that burned the clouds, and his friends and the Red Huntress faltered for a moment. Thankfully, all three were sheltered in shields to protect against the flaming projectiles and claws. When the pain faded, only strength and power remained. Danny shined like a star, eyes ablaze of gold while tear tracks of neon blue streaked down his face. His veins were outlined in blue as the magic power danced around him. The flaming heavens rained down on him and exploded with enough force to shake the city. When the dust and smoke dispersed, a dome of gold and blue shielded the humans and spirit from harm. Phantom held both arms up and was shaking with effort, but a smile graced his face.
"Looks like the playing field just got evened up." Phantom absorbed the shield and nodded to the man behind him. "Thanks, now let's see if I can end this." Phantom soared up toward Plasmius with four duplicates. One was surrounded by green blades, another wearing spiked gauntlets that crackled with electricity, one wielding a spear and another with a whip.
Plasmius met him would have been protege with duplicates of his own, the original bringing down his sword with a flurry of fire and electricity raging around the blade. Phantom slashed upward to meet the blow, ice, and wind acting as an extension of his weapon. The blades met, and the world shook once more. With the magic of the Pate patriarch on his side, however, Phantom was able to launch his foe high into the air. He rocketed upward, and sparks of electricity flew wildly as their blades clashed again. Harder and harder, Phantom pushed against Plasmius. When the elder spirit began to push him back, Phantom raised his knee and dented the armor around Plasmius' gut, following up with a jab to his face. Finally, a blast of cold plasma pushed Plasmius above the cloud layer, where the sun shone down on them through the green and purple swirl of ectoplasm that tinted the sky. Ectoplasm and magic danced above Amity Park, and the clouds began to swirl and churn from the force of the blows.
Plasmius' armor was covered in lava like ectoplasm, and Phantom was more ice than spirit now. The water in the clouds froze once more as Phantom duplicates destroyed Plasmius copies, working together to bring the original victory. The light of the sun dimmed and intensified at the same time, focusing almost entirely on Plasmius and lighting him up like god of fire. The halfas brought their swords upon each other's throats, blades fighting to cut through the other as a storm of ice and fire raged around them. Lightning shot out from the ball of power that formed around the hybrids and the storm of the decade shined violet. All of the light vanished as both halfas breathed in their own power. Flames and molten ectoplasm burned at the back of Plasmius' throat. Ice, wind, sound, power hummed in Phantom's lungs. Just as the two prepared to end this battle once and for all, someone else ended it for them.
A wall of grey slammed into the two, and they were cast down from the heavens by the power of the attack. They quickly ate grass and dirt, digging a crater that Tucker, Sam and the newly arrived Fentons nearly fell into. There were twin flashes of white and black light, and the human ghost hunters all looked upward to see what could possibly have taken down the spirits that scarred Amity Park with their battle. Tucker Sam and Jazz all cried out in fear as the skies darkened into streaks of black and white, while Joshua grabbed his sons and held them tight. He had seen this creature in a vision of a future that they had thankfully avoided. This was a spirit of great power and intellect, who reveled in the pain of others and sought only and suffering. A spirit possessed by a mad demon who searched for the next conquest and the annihilation of man. Phantom, possessed by his own worst enemy, and driven insane by the chaos of a world never meant to touch any other. "My my," his deep voice called. Maroon eyes scanned over the battlefield that the park had become and a fanged grin stretched out over the pale green skin. "I never thought I'd see those two trying to kill each other so enthusiastically. And what's this? The junior league and the wanna be has beens all gathered together? I see I've crashed the best party there ever could be." Daniel Phantom had risen from his prison, and he would have his fun.
