Fantastic Factories - Storage Solution from Folded Space
Fantastic Factories - Storage Solution from @Folded__Space @fanfactories
@DeepWaterGames
There’s just something about a really neat storage solution for games.
Sure, baggies are fine, and you can just turn the box upside down and drop a bunch of baggies onto the table for everybody to sort out.
They work…ok. And it’s not the end of the world if that’s what you have.
But a storage solution where you can actually take the trays out and use them as part of the game are just so much…

Planning to edit snatcher's design in the future because I'm not that proud of it & already have something in mind, but have this for now :)
(...aaand I now realize that most of the text might be hard to read! whoops I'll make it clearer on the next one, apologies)
I’d like to piggyback off of this post for a moment. I don't want to reblog it because it and the the replies are focused on the Architects. Which is cool and all, I remember being intrigued at a linked sentient species like that.
But I want to talk about the kharaa's involvement in the Degasi subplot in the base game.
They already didn't get along. Well, at least Paul and Maida didn't. Bart was just kind of there as a timid boy overshadowed by his father's presence. Maida was loyal to Paul since he was the one paying her. She was likely used to a rough life whereas he was the sort of man who had wanted for nothing in a long time.
but when the infection sets in. It starts with being itchy. But one of the symptoms is aggression. And we can hear the progression. Bart starts to stand up to his father. Paul and Maida really start clashing.
( and one could argue that she was the one to get them killed. Or at least Paul. When she drags back a leviathan. The recording makes it sound like a ghost which would make sense for the biome because there is a ghost leviathan in the vicinity. But she has a reaper skull in her base in SubZero? )
Will all of you excuse me a moment if I interrupt my dinosaur hype to show off this cutie pie of a werefish/deep one? His name is "Lotto", and he is the monster form of my human OC Vincent in a casual Call of the Sea AU I share with a dear old friend x)
Review - Claim (a great 2-player trick-taking card game by @Scott_Almes). Thanks to @thing12games for introducing it to me! @DeepWaterGames @white_goblin
Two-player trick-taking games are odd ducks.
I mean, not Cobra Chicken odd ducks.
Nothing compares to them.
But they are odd in their own way.
They always have to have some kind of neat twist because otherwise it’s just two players laying down cards for no apparent reason.
Who loves doing things for no apparent reason?
(Points two thumbs at myself)
This guy.
But not when I’m playing a…
I see a little uptick in people getting interested in dnd lore and creating theories (specially about Astarion and elves) of what is what.
Now I just want to say, while the lore is fun do not let it curb your creativity. Dnd in itself gives you that freedom. The books, the lore is there as a guideline to set the scene and set the rules for the tabletop game (mostly for balancing the game as in not having over-powered abilities.) But when creating a story it is all up to you.
You are the Dungeon Master of your story. It is up to you to decide why what happened and how.
Roughly seven lines from What Big Teeth You Have, a werewolf fic. Both Young and Telford showing their Bad Traits™ 😬
"And mouthy," David responded glibly. "Bet he's got a nice collection of bruises for that. Hasn't he."
Shame flashed through Young at the reminder of how he'd behaved towards a civilian. It wasn't honourable, what he'd done, but Rush had been so rude and aggressive, managing to press all of Young's buttons effortlessly. After the first time, the man should have had the brains to stop running his mouth, knowing what the consequences would be if he continued. But he hadn't stopped and neither had Young.
"I just wanted to protect you," he tried, knowing he sounded more than a little defensive.
"I never asked you to!" David instantly snapped, anger flooding the room as if a switch had been flipped.
